I don't think (most) women expect too much from their partners. What I do think is that a lot of women are far worse at direct communication particular in regards to their needs or expectations. Often you see responses like "it's common sense" or "he should know..." I'd argue that it may be for them but maybe from other perspectives it's ill communicated and then complained to friends / family / the internet. When things get bad enough that she wants to leave, communication stops. This is why it…

All the comments focus on "cleaning is a basic function" and so not feminine, miss the nuances. Men clean for hygiene, women clean for image. Just look at when guests are due to come round.

Over the years I've dated a range of ages, been married in mid 20s and again in kid 30s. I have to say that there isn't that much difference in the modern woman. When there are splits / divorces, there needs to be more balance. Don't project your trauma onto your kids, the mum might hate the dad, but should never bad…

My father died in late 2019, just after my wife and I suffered a miscarriage. He never got to meet our daughter, my son has mostly forgotten him, and he was my primary friend, debate partner etc. Never perfect but the closest thing for me. I grieved hard and she was supportive and told me to let it out. Lockdown hit in the March after and I had to continue my grief in isolation. It definitely made it harder. While I still have moments now where it hits hard, she lost any softness or understandin…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
