Oh good lord, she was making a straw man’s argument ffs. In any case: A) She’s not wrong. B) Given the “Republic of Gilead” tilt of the current Supremes, I’m beyond caring where they owe and more wanting them to represent the majority of Americans.

And this is why all identities in rape allegations should be secret until charges are filed. I have zero room for scumbags that take advantage of someone in that way, and asshats like Harvey Weinstein can go eat a bag of dicks, but it’s categorically unfair to have your reputation tarnished based on an allegation. Just thankful he was smart enough to record on of her calls.

Normally I’m the one with the pitchfork but this story is pretty troubling. She had bruises all over her body indicative of rape or forced sex, but the judge refused to admit it into evidence. Also, she was questioned for several hours without the benefit of a lawyer, which is where her retraction came from. People who falsely accuse are scum, but I’m not sure this is one of those cases

Please everyone here, don’t just upvote this - get over to change.org and sign the petition. It saddens me they’ve barely gotten to 5k. DV is DV. Pure and simple.

The father was having an affair. So the daughter is probably siding with her mom out of loyalty. Original ruling was a joke as she ran her husband off the road, who was riding a motorcycle, then went on to ram the car being driven by the woman who was having the affair with her husband. The wife was driving an Escalade. That ruling is why the son lost.

No, went self represented as my ex-ruined my credit and left me near bankrupt. She came from a rich family so had no trouble affording the best barristers and solicitors.

UK for me. Have only seen my son 52 hours in the last 3 years, all despite the courts repeatedly saying I was a model father. But they are toothless to force his mom to allow contact.

Unfortunately not in the UK it can't. Have only seen my son 30 hours in the last 3 years, despite the courts saying I was an excellent father 😢

Going through a divorce under eerily similar circumstances. One piece of advice is this: don't negotiate. Don't bargain. Don't ask her to "come to the table and talk". Consider this, your life partner, the mother of your kids was openly talking to friends about leaving you. Not to you, to them. While in her mind she was clear that she was unhappy, obviously in your case message not received. If you do come to terms, 100% you will find yourself at the same place after a month or two. As others ha…

This. I'm in my early 40s and also just got divorced. Let me tell you, women in their mid 30s on up have absolutely ridden the CC at one point or another - OR - are divorced and have kids. There's just no escaping it. Put it this way, I love TRP but I cannot fathom why high or even medium partner counts are a red flag. For younger women? Sure. Our ages? Hell no brother. You have to understand, you are not in competition with her past. You will probably never be her best lay. Who cares? Your LTR …

Hmm, a bit late to this party but I think everyone is overthinking this one. She was tired, a bit bored, and even one of the male co-hosts talked about how here energy was so much lower than a previous event he saw her at in London a few weeks prior. She was taking part in what you call a junket. Basically film actors have to sit down for an entire day and get interviewed by all manner of journalists and TV crews. It's is soul destroy'ingly dull. Publicists litterally keep people streaming throu…

Do not do this. French women value respect, and people who can at least try to speak their language - even if it is to say Parlez-vous anglais?. Also, the French by and large assume that Americans are uneducated bro's who have no manners. Destroy both myths and you will do well my friend.

Whatever you do, don't run from the pain. Let it overwhelm you and put you to the floor. It will definitely hurt, but the point of hurting is that then you will heal. Personally for the first few weeks, I'd go (and recently did) go full blown monk and just let myself ride it out. After a few weeks I was hanging out with friends occasionally, a few weeks after that, a little bit more. When the time is right, you'll know when it's time to start spinning plates again. I'd strongly avoid fucking any…

And how can you possibly tar and feather the man after this: Asked about his thoughts on the lack of women competing in chess, Short, 49, said: “Why should they function in the same way? I don’t have the slightest problem in acknowledging that my wife possesses a much higher degree of emotional intelligence than I do. “Likewise, she doesn’t feel embarrassed in asking me to manoeuvre the car out of our narrow garage. One is not better than the other, we just have different skills.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
