One thing I've heard people say is that therapy can go beyond simply being a treatment for some specific issue, and is good even for people who are mentally healthy. I.e. a lifestyle to adopt, if you can afford it time and money-wise. In other words, while many people see therapy as the mental health analogue to a doctor/the hospital, it should instead be seen as the mental health analogue to going to the gym, or perhaps more precisely to getting a trainer at the gym. Logically it makes sense th…

Wow, what a psychotic line of questioning for a stranger on the internet. Is it that hard for you to believe someone might have a strong connection to someone from another country?

that you are not particularly interested in us specifically Do you expect every man who approaches you to be interested in you specifically, for reasons other than your looks? How would they be able to know these reasons before approaching you?

if you are chasing him then he's not on your level. If you are chasing, the guy's above your pay grade. This is false. If you are chasing, it means they are not as interested in you as you are in them. Not that they are "above your pay grade". Not even that they aren't interested in you at all. Simply that you are the more interested party. The notion that everyone has a one-dimensional "value" or "league" or "pay grade" in dating needs to die.

That is not the same thing at all. You actually dated this person. This is talking about if you met your ex before you started dating, noted he was attractive, noted that he had an appealing personality, noted that he was rich, and still decided to not date him.

He entrusted Christ to a WOMAN. This is misleading. He didn't "entrust Christ to a woman." If he did, that would imply that God had the choice of entrusting Christ to a man or woman, and chose the woman. If this were the case, then exactly what would entrusting Christ to a man entail? Would Joseph have pooped Jesus out of his butthole instead of Mary in that case (both still virgins)? Or would a holy stork have dropped Jesus off on Joseph's lap one day? Christ had no choice but to be born to a w…

Being submissive is in a way worse than being a slave What the actual fuck? EDIT: For those who are wondering, yes, EulenWatcher said the above, and followed it up with a supporting argument.

How is changing a tire about physical strength? Do you think women have a significantly harder time changing tires because they are weaker? Do you think men are dead-lifting their cars when changing a tire instead of using a jack?

Men in the US at least are specifically taught that no "no" does not imply "yes". Only a "yes" means "yes". This is what I was taught in both middle school and high school health class.

Gods, do I really have to spoonfeed you guys pre-chewed relationships? You literally elected to participate in this discussion. Why did you have to say this?

That is a first move. If it's still not too late for you to feign ignorance and pretend like you weren't actually interested, then you haven't actually made a move.

It's 'volcel'. I had to look this up too because I was also confused. Incel = involuntary celibate, whereas volcel = voluntary celibate.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
