Now you guys are just propagating blanket rhetoric that emotionally stunted men of the 50s would throw out whenever women cried in their vicinity. Is there no such thing as being allowed to express ones own innate suffering and sadness without there having to be ulterior motives?? 1	Our culture treats men and boys as second-class citizens You certainly raise a valid point, but fail to take into account that in the early 1900s children were expected to deal with adult responsibilities yet were given no adult rights, and a suffrage movement for them was never started. 4	This subreddit seems very pessimistic. Is there anything I can do to help promote mens rights and protect myself? Why yes it does seem pessimistic, I just finished reading a post about the comments on a huffington post on a guy being raped. The vast majority said male rape was impossible, guys shouldn't get sympathy until women don't have to fear rape every day (ignore guy problems, women have it way worse ( rape is a bad thing but the commentators basically said women have worse problems so guys should be ignored)) and oh yeah, that it was really the guy raping her. 1	Question about Femenist? Well, to start off hitting a partner is domestic abuse right off the bat and it's not okay. However, when men hit women in self defense it's alright as long as they don't overdo it.
