-3	Apparently bitching about other people's work is more important than the actual work. (x-post gaming) Exactly - I hear a lot of her criticisms and think "fair point." We're a little lazy with our storytelling, it needs updating. I don't think that equates to a war on men. And the online campaign destroy her distracts from actual issues that really impact men, and delegitimizes the whole idea that men can even experience gender-related discrimination. I've really enjoyed a lot of the content here. I agree with so much of the Mens Rights Movement, but this frothing and raging over one woman who points out that women aren't portrayed well in video games - well, good bye. There are just so many things not being said, or assumed, and that's what's frustrating. First off, the title is lopsided - men need women. 4	Let's talk rape. OP, my deepest sympathies to you and your situation. My only comment is that it's a very tough situation to prosecute if there's a three month delay between a crime and when it's reported and all the physical evidence has been destroyed. I can't imagine the horror that comes with that kind of an event, but as a society, we have to make it clear that in the wake of a crime like this, your first reaction has to be to go to the hospital or police. I think I see what she's doing here - Whenever a rape is reported/rape accusation is made, an automatic tension is created between the woman's rights to justice (if the rape really happened) and the man's right to justice (if it didn't really happen). The author is implying that some people (probably MRAs) are solely interested in defending the man's rights, no matter the cost to the woman. 18	Jezebel: Fuck You Men's Rights Activists. Just reading through, noting logical errors - The author assumes that being anti-feminist equates to being anti-woman. Seems like there are some straw men being thrown around as well - are all MRAs against the conviction of rapists? She also ascribes goals to the movement that I've never heard an MRA advocate, namely dominated and controlling women. She's also upset that people would stand up for the rights of abusers?
