Could you show me justification from orthodox Islamic Fiqh, theology, etc. for killing women for this kind of thing? Wrong... Students of Islam are taught that IF THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND A PARTICULAR SCRIPTURE IN THE KORAN, to view the Hadith and see how Mohammed "walked out the scripture in his life". But you asked me if I read the Quran. The Quran barely mentions Muhammad. The Hadith are used as a reference, but if they contradict the Quran they are not valid. No, you are wrong. Because if this were true, then the Islamic Empire wouldn't have thrived. But it did, and religion was a driving factor in its achievements. Therefore, current matters are due to geo-political reasons, not the culture or religion. I would say American foreign policy was probably a bigger factor than the religion of the masses in that area; one which is always used as a justification or reason, while never the cause.

The problems in the Middle East aren't because of the culture. Islamic culture flourished scientifically and morally under the Islamic empire; but recently their has been war and poverty because of a variety of reasons, mostly political in nature.
