This is always my argument, as argued below, but this is way more concise and elegant. Stealing for the future.

One argument is that eventually someone innocent will be executed. The system is not perfect and everyone says "only in cases where we're absolutely sure" but there will be mistakes. Just as people are wrongfully imprisoned. And that's terrible as well, but there's no viable alternative. Here, there is a viable alternative: life in prison. It's never necessary to execute someone.

Read a method once where you sit across from a girl, and work for a bit, then just slide a tic tac toe game over with the first move made. And don't say anything. Whoever wins, parlay it into owing a drink.

I must have missed that in the first post! Try following the two step approach there then. What story or relation do you have, and if none, what do you want to know about the topic. The biggest thing, and unfortunately I don't know if there's a regiment to this, is to be genuine.

Why not ask questions like what she does there, or share a story from a time you were at Bloomingdales, or ask what she likes about working there. It doesn't have to be so regimented like you're pitching it. You're having a conversation, man. What do you want to know or what can you contribute to the conversation about Bloomingdales? Take a sincere interest in what's going on. If you wanted to think about it regimented, a good approach might be two steps: (i) What story or relation do you have t…

There's another part of the article where he says But ever since I passed my driver's test at sixteen, I wanted to become someone who could drive better and faster than most...because let's face it: fast is inherently fun. and Anyway, my helmet is sung (when you're wearing a helmet, you're having fun..unless you're in a coal mine).

I'm not saying they aren't. Perhaps men are more in need of the self defence lessons. I'm just saying the self defence tactics they need to be taught are different, so it makes sense for the lessons to be separated.

Have you thought about organizing the men's self defence class since you were so upset? Instead of being self-righteous on the internet?
/r/MensRights21/03/14 10:57 PM

Or there's little demand. Or no one has taken to organizing it. Just because you create a women's one doesn't mean you automatically need a men's one. Isn't it sexiest that there's no televised coverage for the NFL equivalent of women's football?

Get over yourself. It's totally reasonable that women would use different self defence tactics than men. I don't need to know what to do when an attacker grabs my long hair. I don't need guidance on best practices for when I'm about to be raped. Just as women don't need self defence tips for when someone is trying to kick you in the balls. There are different concerns for different groups. Focus on real shit.
