Can confirm. My recent controlling, cheating obsessed ex was definitely on the small side. Loved being pegged though. Shout out to you, Rob, you piece of shit!

He randomly unmatched me after sending but 100% I try to report. As an aside, I know people might find it perhaps disheartening on this sub to see this kind of content, but it really helps me to share this and it takes some of its power away for me. Receiving these kinds of messages is actually a little upsetting and sharing it with you ladies and my RL friends does make me feel supported/makes it funny rather than aggressive.

Lol! I did not edit the post to change initial information. I edited to show an update... Why are you coming for me like this? He was meant to call at 9:30. He didn't. I texted him, to check wtf was going on, he didn't pick up. I blocked. Then he called my mobile as I blocked him on an app. I came here for support! Not to win fake internet points or to get approval. Thanks very much for sharpening your teeth here though. Hope you feel better!

I didn't call him. I blocked him, actually. Twice! But thanks for confirming!

How else do you screen though? (And I wait until they offer to call me and then they do the calling?)

Mm, I would agree to disagree. I exclusively use my burner WhatsApp, but I am in my early twenties in the UK. It's quite normal for me...I don't think I've sent a text in the last three months!

Thank you!! I don't think this is a high standard! The right man would be on time. So sick of people telling me I'm too hard/harsh.

Idk...no one texts that I know of. And I have a burner so that's what I use.

....it's actually my mother. Makes it so much harder.

I just feel a bit cut because he was the first person I've really connected with after over a month of online dating. Conversation felt easy, he was so respectful and we had similar vibes. BUT, he was one of the "see where things go", noncommittal types, which squicked me out. He asked what I wanted and I said he should read between the lines (I'm obviously not casual from the conversation I choose to engage with). But my hackles were up! Then being late just led to a knee jerk block response. U…

It means one thing to him and another to you. And usually only benefits them too. Exhibit A: my recent ex. "Exclusive" to me meant emotional commitment, planning for a future together, a relationship. "Exclusive" to him meant I couldn't fuck anyone else.

Yeah, even if it's a joke or a reference to how in Australia calling someone that is BAU, you would t say it. If I were a man and I was trying to impress/put my best foot forward, I'd err on the side of caution and just not use that word! If anything, it just shows he doesn't give a shit about how he comes across and obviously doesn't give a shit about impressing you. I don't think it's more malicious than that. Either way, what a turn off.

Ahh this makes a lot of sense. I will do this in future. I don't link my insta for the reasons you've described but I didn't even really connect the texting to another privelige. It definitely makes sense when you say it like that - it's basically another layer of distance stripped back. Thank you! This has changed my perspective for sure.

I have an old burner from traveling that I use...is that a done thing? My friends tell me I'm mental for doing it but that's how I handle safety etc....I do prefer WhatsApp and having them all on one device does mean they don't interrupt my regular life

I have this theory that over confidence is the last line of defence they have from a reality which would crush them like an empty Pringles tube underfoot if they ever faced it head on. Have pity 😂 that's how I survive Tinder now

Stringy, a backwards cap, hollow eyes and very visible, teeny tiny, pigeon-beak moobs.

"fanny" had me laughing; the bizarre racial element had me 🙃🙃🙃🙃 all the way home

So I matched out of sheer curiosity, and was not disappointed: he got angry within two messages that I wasn't suitably impressed by his BMW 😂

I think he might be projecting and actually wants to be me in this scenario. That's my hot take.

Had an ex who was literally like "being with you makes me feel bad about myself because you say I don't treat you that well, and yeah, maybe I don't, but it's such a downer, man :(" Nearly self aware, just nearly
