75% of suicides are men but it “doesn’t get men killed every day” 😂

There needs to be more women on the left* They do not listen to men on the left. They assume they’re right winged and attack for no reason 😩

I wonder how much of that has more to do with men that old being too old to give a shit about raising their kids and letting tablets do all the work, just like we’re seeing in younger families now.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with married men having more drive and purpose in their life. I was relatively deadbeat until I had a child, then I figured it the fuck out. Never had I been discriminated against for not being married with children before. Nor do I gain any special treatment in my life because I am now. That being said, single people in general can be looked at with skepticism, especially if you’re hitting your 30’s and still haven’t found someone who can tolerate your ass every si…

Okay here are my issues. The article says “Then there are movies highlighting just how bad men can be (and yes, some men can behave very badly).” And links an article on the Epstein files. If this was truly a progressive, gender neutral article, they would have clarified that all humans can act badly. Like, who’s currently the only person incarcerated for her part in the Epstein case? Second, it says it tackles the everyday struggles facing men, and goes on to describe how they work as a team. M…

I’ve actually tried changing my name on resumes to feminine names and received many more call backs. In my circumstance it’s definitely a bias against men 😅 Even in trades, it’s easier to score an interview for an apprenticeship with a woman name than a man’s name. Purely anecdotal and not at all a statistic but it’s one of those things that will never get a peer reviewed study.

Ahh fair enough. I ended up voting blue this time 🤢 My riding is 83% likely to be blue (southern AB, weoooo), so I took the opportunity to be a statistic as part of the “young men shift right” narrative. Maybe the left will start paying attention to real men’s issues if it looks like men have abandoned them, buuuuuut that’s a long shot 😂 we need voter reforms :(

Mind sharing who you voted for? I’m on my way in a bit and I haven’t decided yet. I’ve always gone orange but I’m kinda disenfranchised with the left atm. Especially since they don’t want to get hard on crime. As an aspiring police officer, that’s a big doozie for me 😅 But PP and Trump in a closet (however unlikely according to polls) sounds like a 1 way ticket for me and my family to Southern Spain 😂

Trump is a bumbling idiot and his staff are no better. Any moderate man is seeing this and is having buyers remorse. However; both sides of the political isle ignore men’s issues, this isn’t just a republican trait. Inflation and Cost of Living aren’t men’s issues, they’re an issue for the entire country. This is what allowed Trump to win in the first place, complete disregard for men by the left. The progressive movement hasn’t given even just the scraps to men, and the worse that the cost of l…

Each culture has its own variations. In the western world, A lot of it had to do with who was paying taxes, and who was fighting wars. Typically women weren’t in the workforce or military, so they were behind in getting the right to vote, and in having political input. Men weren’t inherently given the right to vote either, they had to fight it from Monarchs and other Authoritarian governments.

Are you implying there are more brown and black men than brown and black women? Because even if it’s 1-1, which it pretty much is, white men don’t treat moisturizer the same. And no it’s not a dream job, but it’s a job. When you’re 21 and have no prospects, a $300 waxing course to look at vaginas all day doesn’t sound so bad. I have absolutely no excuse for manicures and pedicures aside from the fact that men are typically just grosser 🤷‍♂️ I know my feet aren’t as nice as any women’s in my life…

Lmfao, have you ever spoken to a waxer? There are instances of women waxers not even wanting to touch trans women. Yet have no problem waxing cis women. Just because you think something isn’t fun, doesn’t mean it can’t be worse. Many of those people think their job is “satisfying”. It’s not something you accidentally fall in to. Many still prefer to not work on men. Even then, men’s legs would use more wax, wax strips, and require more labour, as an average man is much larger than an average wom…

Perhaps because men don’t purchase those items at the same rates as women, and they also tend to use more fabrics or better construction of the product. The lower the quantity, the higher the production costs for everything. This includes toiletries, how many men do you know that routinely use moisturizer? The other services, such as manicures and waxing, are higher because who tf wants to wax a man’s legs? Or give their dirty ads hands a manicure? Do you expect manufacturers to absorb the cost …

No, I’m saying I’m not retarded and that I’m capable of changing my opinions on things as new information comes to light. Unlike some people who will always spew whatever nonsense fits their narrative with no critical thought.

I once did pretty much the exact same thing on somebody’s profile pic on fb when I was 13. I took such a lashing it was UNREAL. But I deserved it. YOU yucked her. She’s obvi upset about that, rational or not what the fuck are you looking for? Sympathy from other stupid men who say stupid things? I guess you found the right place. You insulted her and she went off on you. Nothing will come from this, this isn’t an exercise of female privilege, this is you being dumb and having her blow things out…

You weren’t talking about anything. You just keep echoing one of the most pretentious, lazy things you can say lmfao. I’m not afraid to change my viewpoints, I already have since joining this sub. But I sure as shit ain’t going to entertain whatever your argument is when even you can’t present a good case for it. “EdUcAtE yOuRsElF” as if there aren’t 5 different versions of modern feminism, each saying they’re the correct one 🙄😂

The double standards that you mention are absolutely a problem and need to be addressed. It doesn’t even just end in family court, men or judged and sentenced much harsher than women. And the bombardment of sexist rhetoric on all platforms is getting to be too much, like the google examples of “why does my husband yell at me?” Compared to “why does my wife yell at me?” Doesn’t help at all. However; there are many things that will never be equal, but we can make things fair. That’s all I want, if…

I don’t disagree at all, it is tough to be a young man today. Even harder so when your peers are just making a mockery out of real men’s issues. We’re at a point where masculinity is seen as a bad thing, and the attitude of a lot of “men’s rights activists” just plays into that hand. The equality mentality is what pushes normal men away from feminism. And now it’s springing up here in the form of bitching over every perceived slight to men. It’s exactly what I saw that made me roll my eyes at fe…

That’s the thing, modern feminism has many different branches these days that it’s hard to pin down just one. I agree with your view of feminists just screaming to the sky, but I also agree that’s what’s going on here a good portion of the time. I don’t disagree at all that there are many things that women have blatant advantages in towards men, such as the many social injustices you mentioned. In their minds, equality is king, but if they were forced into a truly equal society they would be the…

“EdUcAtE yOuRsElF” is the exact shit I’m talking about, Karen. And of course there can be fairness without equality. That’s the distinction between equity and equality. Equality is a joke and diminishes gender roles that ought to be strengthened. Men need more help. That’s not up for debate. But we can go about it in ways that make sense and empower us. This obsession over making EVERYTHING a gender issue is the opposite.

Honestly I find this sub pretty cringe half the time. I see many of the posts aren’t advocating for men’s rights, but just being pissed off at womens perspectives. Or are just men stretching to be upset because feminists want equality and we’re not given it. It just gives off “Blue haired Barista” vibes. I believe there’d be a lot more progress for men if we focused on fairness as opposed to equality. But I’ve been wrong before so 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Lmfao creature as an insult is comical. I didn’t gloss over it, I can see the post and the title. I even acknowledged that in a civilian setting it does make sense to be butthurt about it (like on the Titanic.) But you’re saying that the author is intentionally dehumanizing men. You’re just a butthurt keyboard jockey who is picking apart specific trends to be upset about. This is the exact behaviour that men have ridiculed feminists over. Just makes you sound like a bitch 😂😂

Damn dude, that’s a soft take. It’s a quick filter to eliminate Military Aged Men, as it always has been. Men go to war, it’s better that way for all of us. It implies that enemy military aged men can’t be trusted behind friendly lines. Its security. It has nothing to do with dehumanizing men or some fake matriarchy. In a civilian setting, sure, take offence. But this is a major conflict, where the enemy isn’t easily identifiable.

Absolutely! I just find this whole “equality for all” movement to be extremely short sighted. It’ll also never happen, because women don’t even want it to happen.

Man the last thing I’d want if I was conscripted is to be told to fight alongside a bunch of 130lbs women. I’m 295lbs in full kit, if I go down and need help, who’s going to pull me out of there? It would take two men, or 4 of your average women. Now I can already hear “they can have women only units!” Imagine where those units are going to be kept. In the safest spots. And if they’re not, and they get crushed, that part of the line is a vulnerability. Not to mention the possibility of war crime…

Lmfao feminist subs are just as bad, that’s the problem. This sub is literally just the mens version of that. Half the shit on here is just playing the victim and blaming sex, just like the feminist subs. 🤷‍♂️

This subreddit is filled with soft boys who turn every inconvenience they face as a boy into a “men’s issue”. Stop focusing on other people’s experiences and start focusing on yours. Stop trying to change other people’s opinions and focus on helping those who need it.

Honestly there’s a lot of weak mentality shit here on this sub. Like not every problem we have can be attributed to sexism, the downvotes I get when I point it out are unreal lmfao. This is by far the most incel-reading subreddit I see pop up. There are a lot of valid points, here too! But definitely some soft shit. It’s dumb as fu k to be banned from another sub over it, but it is what it is

Both men and women can be denied political asylum. The title change of this article is a mockery to the real men’s issues, such as being the only sex eligible for mobilization.

I once brought up the sexism in my English class and the teacher yelled at me for 15 minutes straight in front of everyone and started crying. Not the reaction I was going for at all :/ my friends who were girls in the class all noticed the favouritism when I pointed it out, and made sure I was okay afterwards. My grades quickly fell from that point on though :l
