THERE ARE NO JUSTIFIABLE REASONS TO RAPE SOMEONE. THERE ARE NO JUSTIFIABLE REASONS TO ASSAULT SOMEONE EITHER... You wouldn't use violence to stop an attacker? You wouldn't use violence to save another person from an attacker? There are absolutely justifiable reasons to use violence. You wouldn't use sex for reproduction, you wouldn't use sex for pleasure? There are absolutely justifiable reasons to engage in sexual activities. "b..bu..but that's not rape" Well, self defence isn't a violent crime…

I can not think of any way to justify rape. I can't think of any way to justify an unprovoked act of violence either... But there are legitimate uses for battery and homicide - self defense. There are legitimate uses for sex too - reproduction and pleasure.

Rape is never justifiable. Violent crimes aren't also justifiable, do you agree?

Soldiers DON'T have their usual rights as in the case of Russia. Soldiers don't get compensation, just look at South Korea. It's not really 6 months, it can span from 2-10 years. it is for the good of and ultimately the survival of the country. Singapore has a low birth rate... This wouldn't justify systemic rape. Similarly, just because Singapore needs a military doesn't mean it should force its men to do so.

Slavery by Wikipedia is defined as someone who is forbidden to quit their service for another person and is treated as property. Military conscription fits that definition, doesn't it?

Will their female children be forcibly impregnated by a person of the government's choice, and then have the resulting children taken from them later? I know that I'm going a bit off-topic but I think military conscription should be viewed with as much severity as much as the above-mentioned example. Segregation of a tiny proportion of the facilities in society for gender reasons is upsetting to only a small proportion of men. If it were a big proportion it would be an election issue. Slavery at…

As for your second para which is just one big anecdote without any reasoning whatsoever... I live in India, men have protested against segregation here and If this was done under race or caste, there would be nation-wide protests. Again your meaning was unclear, which is unforgivable on such a sensitive topic. Sure, segregation of buses etc is somewhat comparable though it is on a vastly different scale. I'm not responsible for your lack of compression. If you misunderstood it; that solely refle…

I never said it was worse, I just compared one aspect of it. The people who are disagreeing with me also happen to be conscription apologists. They don't wanna admit how severe men's issues are.
/r/MensRights10/02/21 06:26 PM

I think it's a genuine comparison, so much so, that no one has refuted anything that I said whatsoever, and if they tried to, they have gotten downvoted.

You are forced to kill or be killed. In some ways conscription is worse than slavery. Although chattel slavery is a bit worse, there are way more men in the military than there were black people in slavery.

the plight of men in the US is a prevalent issue but it absolutely nowhere near the level of Jim Crow/segregation. Did I fucking say that...? I comapred it to eastern countries like india, singapore, south korean etc not the USA. YOU FUCKING IDIOT! it’s people like you that make MRA seem like a complete joke. this is why nobody takes us seriously. Go ahead, self-police yourself out of existence! As long as you ignore the severity of men's issue, nothing is gonna happen.

I mean, this does still happen today albeit not on the same scale, I'd assume. Although chattel slavery is a bit worse, there are way more men in the military than there were black people in slavery. I think that compensates for it.

What do you mean "used up"? They're forced to stay in those conditions for 2-10 years depending on the country. Edit to add: I'm not saying conscription isn't bad, but it isn't as bad as chattel slavery. Although chattel slavery is a bit worse, there are way more men in the military than there were black people in slavery. I think that compensates for it.

Countries with forced military service themselves admit that it is indeed slavery! Singapore's constitution says: —(1) No person shall be held in slavery. (2) All forms of forced labour are prohibited, but Parliament may by law provide for compulsory service for national purposes for men. They literally admit that compulsory service is literally slavery and that they're making an exception. Who the fuck are YOU to disagree with them?
/r/MensRights09/02/21 09:54 AM

Conscription would only come into effect in a situation where the US military was deemed not enough. And only until the conflict was resolved. In 70+ countries like Russia, Switzerland, etc all boys when they turn 18 are forced into boot camps where they have to perform labour in harsh conditions. Yes, that is a requirement to risk ones life if the government demands it, but at some point the "if"-s and "until"-s have to affect the comparison when the other side were robbed of their freedom imme…

Also, I said LITERAL slavery, genius. Do you agree forced military service is slavery? The literal constitution says so Please stop. Nobody on this sub will agree with you, and you're doing damage to the credibility of every reasonable person here. Get off your high horse!
/r/MensRights09/02/21 09:33 AM

Yes, I will provide you with one very obvious reason: literal slavery Men are also enslaved through compulsory military service. The constitution of many countries like Singapore and South Korea admits that conscription is forced labour or slavery. So, men are not only segregated but also enslaved in the modern era, just like black people were in the past. Thanks for reinforcing my points. The plight of men today is now even more comparable to that of black people during racial segregation.

It's a terrible analogy that makes men's rights look like a joke. Do you mind giving a single reason? or am I a bit too radical for you? Also, trains and busses did not exist for 100 years prior to the end of Jim Crow laws and American segregation. That's a nitpick, but still. When busses existed, there was indeed racial segregation present. source

this is my alt with decent karma what do think now? But you completely dodge the historical role of women in both world wars we're talking about oppression and genocide, not women who for the first time in their life had to work.

but is it really a pussypass when she literally gets punished too? You have to take into consideration that they didn't rape her in order to inflict pain & suffering, because if that's really what they wanted, then they would be torturing her like a man. "Pussypass" according to the sub's description means(as you said) being a woman = no or small consequences as that's exactly what happened.

I can't speak for your experiences on other subreddits, but this one in particular is very much an anti-censorship one. are you joking? This sub literally have mod approval before posting! I've been trying to write a message to the community but the head mod said "you're a new account, who are you tell us how we should mod" Ok, I might be stupid and my message might be idiotic, but they didn't let the community decide it or mind you, being stupid isn't against the rules.

His crime was shouting "I love you" at a 17-year-old girl in public. He was beaten up by people nearby for doing it. How can men give up their lives for women they aren't even allowed to embrace? I'm confused. On one hand, I think it was inappropriate for sure, the guy should have been charged with disturbing the peace and harassment but only after a proper psych evaluation. This dude was clearly not right in his head to do that but does the punishment really fit the crime? There is nothing a to…

This female POW deserves the support and praise for being an example other victims of sexual assault can look up to. Genuine feminists supporting total gender equality do not dwell on making women victims! We thrive on strength and unity not only with fellow women but with men! Of course, it comes from the rape itself, Rhonda Cornum(a female pov who was raped) says: "rape just ranks as unpleasant; that's all it ranks....everyone's made such a big deal about this indecent assault, but the only thing that makes it indecent is that it was non-consensual." I used to say this too, but in order to not get ostracized, I gotta quote her, sigh! from the intense feeling of humiliation and disgust at being used physically for someone else's pleasure and being forced to sexual act…

The difference between being erotically fondled over and having your tooth explode without anesthesia from electricity while having to go through the roughness of prison in such a delicate state is as comparable to the difference between accidentally bumbing into someone at work versus having 9/11 at your workplace!
