I understand why the law exists and I have no desire to get rid of it, though i think it needs many modifications and has unjustly ruined people's lives. However, I disagree that most teens today do have the cognitive ability. If they can choose to do it with another person their age, they can choose to do it with someone older. Now, I'm not saying that this always happens and that the adult is never wrong because that is clearly not true. I'm not even saying i know a way how to tell what actual…

Right, I understand that. Though just because adults have more power of manipulation and coercion doesnt mean they have used it. However i think something important to consider all of history. How abnormal was it and how damaged were people that age then? I understand why we have laws but perhaps it is something that is a part of our nature much in the same way anger is.

Are you saying that no 13 year olds that want it enjoy it and all come out as damaged adults? History would very much disagree with you. And this is not me saying that what happened is okay.

You've got to be kidding me. The world is crumbling and women are hypocrites because the phrase "man up" is becoming more common? That's like saying people eat more hot dogs and murder rates are higher because of the weather getting hotter. I'm all for calling bullshit on women, but this is just downright looking for something that isn't there. What a bunch of bitches up voting this.

I cant really tell she's scowling. Needs more JPEG. Her arms crossed could mean several things. I don't think she's reacting the way she is for the reasons everyone seems to think here. Her reaction would've likely been the same if ha had danced with a woman closer to his age. I'm just curious to see what everyone would thing if she had happily joined him or if the rolls were reversed. Edit: and people actually act quite differently than kids when they're 70. I'm glad you just admitted you will …

No... that's not what it sounds like at all. That's not the first thing she does and she looks like she's smiling practically the whole time. Do you think 70 year old people (male or female, and especially married) act like that? When you're 70, are you still going to be looking at women and speculating about other women your age? No because you're 70 and you won't care for a second. Your life will be exactly what you made of it, and you will have exactly the life you created for yourself.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
