You are accusing me of things I do not do. I only judge people as to whether they exhibit red flags or not. Albeit some red flags are subjective, they are still a deal breaker for me. Everyone can do whatever they like. That does not mean I am OK with it. Anyway, my questions were not directed towards that. If you stop preaching for a second, you can realise that I basically ask how to leave everyone to do their own thing and somehow swivel between the rain drops. How can I avoid them? Because a…

That 's' at the end of 'girlfriends' really shows that I am not asking the right people. Some of us do not have to make 50 mistakes to know what is right and what a good family consists of. And to know what characteristics a person for that family must exhibit.

1) Stop calling them "females" 2) Keep talking to them and kind of friendzone them. By doing so you should be able to lower your guard and open up more. Therefore, you will talk about anything with them - sex, drugs, alcohol, video games, your job, your studies, hobbies, etc. Then they connect with you. The real you... not the persona who is trying to seduce them. From there, it is her move. Look for it. If you start spending more time together - great! Have a good time! Plenty of eye contact? N…

I came to say this but with my own words and a different spin - one on what it means when she sleeps with you on the first date and how a guy should not want that. I won't bother. Your comment is the best one here. Everyone else is looking for a relationship but gets bitter when something stupid like "not fucking on the first date" happens. The year is 2019. 80% of people look for a "relationship" but rather simply want to find a fuck buddy and if the sex is great then they can be exclusive? Thi…

More like we are both out to have a good time and see how this goes. I am willing to talk about myself but if she never asks and I don't see a queue there is only so much I can do.

Playing guitar, engineering, programming, technology, sci-fi, comic books, manga, movies (any kind), books (any kind except psychology), cooking, travelling, hiking, swimming, computer games, business, finances, biology... actually any scientific topic, universities as a concept, to name a few. However, my hobbies and interests are my own. These are just the topics I can talk about for hours and have a good time doing it. I do not expect the other person to find them interesting. On the other ha…

"You are boring." is an attack in my book.

I'm sorry! Since when the word "discussion" is a synonym of "attack"? I better leave the sub altogether then.

In a sick kind of way your comment makes sense. The questions now is whether I want to do that. When you sit across from a woman and ask generic interview questions, you're looking for an employee, not a sex partner. I guess my problem is that I go out to have fun. I am not looking for neither for an employee nor a sex partner. They might be looking for the latter and we mismatch.

All my girlfriends get excited when they talk, show interest and passion and are just lively and social people. Same. All my girl and boy friends do this. That they think the date is akward and want to leave, and are happy when there’s no second date invitation. I get this. But when it happens from the get go? I mean, we have just met. We will be in the same company for awhile. We should make it enjoyable at least. Oh I know! Let's talk about your passions. That would be a great way for you to e…

This post turned very quickly to a "You are boring" attack towards me. I am glad someone understood what I meant. However, I was hoping to get more of a discussion on how to handle this. Maybe reassurance that I have just hit a few duds and to keep looking. Bonus - where to look for.

I joke and try to steer the conversation towards her telling a story. Because the activity we are doing is great and all but we have to fill the silence with something. It might as well be something one of us enjoys.

I agree to an extend. However, it is not the nature of the hobbies. For example, some people have cars as their hobby. I couldn't care less about cars to be honest. But when I am out with a girl, if she starts talking about cars I will listen and try to ask questions about it. I will probably joke about how I have no idea how cars work so she can talk more about it. Because I know generally people have a good time when they talk about things they really like. This is where we hit the brick wall.…

Quit being boring. What's interesting to you is boring to women. That's the thing. I go out and ask them about their interests. This is a queue for her to just start talking about whatever is interesting to her. She then starts talking about her hobby. Great! It does not matter what it is. Spoon collecting? Great! Tell me a good story about it and let's have a good time. Oh you can't? Well I am left with nothing but to change the topic. Oh wait! Apparently that makes me boring. But not you! You …

They don't feel like they have to offer back anything, there are plenty of dudes like you who are willing to date them. Way to go to generalize! But you captured it perfectly. "They don't feel like they have to offer back anything". Well why go out with me then? Free lunch? However, you might also consider that you're boring, and maybe instead of talking and be interested, they want to laugh, to be flirted to, to be complimented, touched, and to have a penis in them. I have considered it. I am n…

You have it wrong for some reason. I do not find her work boring. I do not find her hobbies boring. From the way she talks about them it seems that SHE finds them boring. So I try to steer the conversation to positive without any success and the whole thing falls apart eventually. Because I'm so sure those girls were 100% interested in your Marvel vs DC rant since men and women are interested in exactly the same things all time. Maybe you should read my post first? Here let me give you the exact…

Yes. I guess there was a moment when she shifted her priorities from being in a relationship to herself. While on its own this is not a problem, the complete denial to compromise in order to stay in a relationship is. From then it is a matter of time until someone gives up. I guess I was more stubborn than her.

If you think sex is all men need to be happy and loved--try having sex as per usual (or having sex every day if you currently don't) and then giving him no closeness the rest of the time. Don't hug him, don't kiss him, don't say nice things to him, don't give him your time and attention, don't listen to anything he has to say. My ex must have read your comment. She broke up with me eventually... You are right. The relationship does go to pieces.

Reading through these it amazes me how sexist you guys are. Not in a bad way - putting the other sex down. But rather in a generalization way - tying human characteristics to one gender. 95% of the comments can substitute "men" with "people" and the statement will still hold. Some of them are even usually contributed to women but because it is in a thread about men, now the tables have turned. So what? Women are realising men are human? Come to think of it, I have read plenty of posts where men …

I am a guy and I am only thinking about "nothing" when I try to sleep. Every time my gf asks what am I thinking and I answer "nothing" it was something. However, it is not something worth mentioning or I am in the middle of a complex thought, which she rudely interrupted. I hit her with the default - "nothing". This is because I either have to spend 30+ minutes to explain the history of the topic and hen catch her up to speed to what I was thinking. Which is ridiculous considering she does not c…

I do not know what "the wall" is but your post has no argument. This Women's standards for men actually go up with age, not down and this But,...but....but women get uglier, therefore those 30 something guys all want sorority chicky babes do not go against each other. They both coexist in the same space. Besides, what you guys describe as women's "standards" are just grown up standards. Period! This is why they seem to "grow up" with time. A car? Family dysfunction and high N go together like peanut butter and jelly. If you have an example where a dysfunctional human being has a low N, congratulations you are one of the first people in their N. Maybe I am wrong and there are 45 yo dysfunctional people with low N. But I feel they are the exceptions to the rule. Finally, I want to specify that I am not talking about incels. Those have a very different dysfunction.

Stupid people are indoctrinated*. I am constantly surprised how many people do not ask the easiest question in the world - "Why?". And then even if they ask it they never seem to bother finding the answer.

And look at the state of society. They think science is nonsense for these exact same reasons. Science is the epitome of saying it as clearly as possible without any sort of ambiguity. I try to do this in everyday life and people hate it. Hmmm, fitting that you used religion for the opposite, don't you think?

Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Any discussion subreddit with a voting system is like that. When you voice an opinion and it goes against the echo chamber it gets downvoted to hell. If you go with the echo it gets upvoted. This creates encouragement for people to go with the positive movement. NO NEGATIVITY IS ALLOWED! People might get hurt, you know!? This in turn makes you choose your words. Represent facts in a way which can be ambiguous. Otherwise, you are going to get attacked. Either by th…

And that's because when it comes to dating they are the choosers, and quite often they have a lot to choose from. /r/IncelTears Women's choice you are talking about is like you voting in elections. You can only vote for whoever ran for the job. Get it? Forced choice or choose not to do it. You do not get to really choose. Why do women assume every male stranger that chats them up wants to fuck them but God forbid men say AWALT? This is wrong in so many ways. Women do not assume every male stranger wants to fuck them. There are countless problems in relationships just because they do NOT assume that and some even miss the obvious hints men drop that they DO want to fuck them. The women who get tilted by AWALT are not the same women who assume that men chatting them up want to have sex with them. It is obvious that…

Are you kidding? This is the reason I do not date "the hot girls"! I say "Hi" to them and their responses are usually so over the top that it is annoying. Sometimes you watch her gestures for 5 minutes and you simply know it in your guts that you will not be able to tolerate this human being. So I do not even ask them out. Please spare me the "you do not know her" speech. This is similar to loud chewing. You just know that it is simply a matter of time to kill them in their sleep. /s for all of …

You are right but I think you are mixing your beans here. The men who do not offer support to their women are not the same who "dig" for support from their women. I have had a similar unending debate with a friend about slut shaming. I have reached the conclusion that we are mixing people up. The ones who would never do it and the ones who would. And constantly try to attack and defend the sins of one and the virtues of the other. Please constrain your target group of men. This will lead to a cl…

There was a point in time where my ex wanted to stop everything she was working for in her career for me. Just to be with me wherever my job was. I did not let her. She still left me. So there is no winning here. You can be a guy who supports her or you could be a guy who does not support her (wierd that you are together and do not support each other but whatever). I have learned that women are simply more inclined to make decisions on their own when they are in a relationship. They think they k…

You are saying " Men are dangerous. " like all men are dangerous. This is simply wrong. Some men are dangerous. I totally get why a woman would be scared from all men at night - she cannot afford to take any chances! Better safe than sorry. I have never had an issue with this. I usually feel bad for the woman and always instinctively want to show her somehow that I am not what she thinks I am. First, your friend is wrong. There are girls who do appreciate honesty and lack of games. They are your target audience and believe me, you will be better for it when you click with someone who shares your views. The girls your friend is talking about however are the majority. I blame the parents. Girls do not deal with rejection enough in their life. They do not have it as hard as boys do. The ones who do end up in the minority and enjoy honesty. Your definition of friendship is very wishy washy. Those are acquaintances in my book. I mean, you met a girl and you talked to her four or five times and you call her a friend? Each to their own I guess.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/19 07:27 AM

WTF dude? Have you not hit on a girl before? When you want someone romantically and he/she does not reciprocate, you loose the friendship. It is as simple as that. There is no gender involved. This is because your feelings do not go away when they reject you. You still want them to be your gf/bf. Staying friends with that person is hurtful. You get to see the lucky girl/guy who will end up in a relationship with them.

"only" is the issue here. Good looking people have more partners in general. This means there is more opportunity for good looking people to screw up. Therefore, the amount of good looking guys screwing women over is higher than the amount ANY OTHER type of guys screwing women over. Compare them together and scientifically you reach to the conclusion that there is a higher chance that good looking guys screw women more than not good looking guys. All of that being said, good looking people are g…
