I know this sounds like typical 'old man', but it really seems to me that a lot of young 'uns these days (including plenty of guys) can not deal with any criticism, unless delivered in the most roundabout, and 'here all the positive things you did too' - ways. "Self-esteem"-centric-style schooling coming home to roost.

Eh, 'bears' are about as masculine as 'drag queens' are feminine. Really, most of them are pretty beta, just they look fat and hairy.

It exists in the gay world in the sense that 'alphaness' can certainly make you more appealing as a sexual partner than your physical attractiveness would. Essentially if someone is, say, a '6' in a photo, but they're beta in person, that knocks them down to a '4', but alpha can put them up to an '8'.

Well, I'm also a gay man, and IMHO, the biggest problem with gay men is they often take something as a 'style' more than reality. I.E. the guy who goes to they gym all the time to lift to look sporty and athletic, but doesn't even know how to throw a punch, or a ball. Even ostensibly 'masculine' groups - i.e. /r/gaybros I'd say the minority actually pursue said masculine pursuits. I.e. maybe 20% legitimately like say, backpacking through the mountains, and for the rest, their idea of camping is …

I think because it's very difficult to prove 'intentionally lying' versus 'mistaken' or what not. If it's a he said/she said situation, he'd need more proof than just being found not guilty in order to prove she was being fradulent.

Sadly, given that the russian orphanage system will basically kick them out (with little support or real-world preparation) when they turn 18, this might actually be good preparation for a future life as a low-level criminal or in the military.

From what I can tell doing some reading, a lot of these assaults are essentially sexual aggressive hazing/'pranks' and the like (ala tea bagging on steroids), and thus likely committed by small groups (of predominantly men) on newer recruits (or less popular members). Remove those sorts of assaults and focusing on strictly one-on-one/more sexually motivated sort of assaults, I'd guess you see a higher percentage of females as the agressors.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
