I think the B+W thinking is processing everything as seduction vs a guy actually liking you but having to funnel that through a communication process that isn’t super direct.

I think I see it as a violation, taking advantage of my weakness and my nature. Like I am a caring person, someone who has a capacity to really care about another person, and it really really bothers me that someone would apply a veneer of seduction techniques and potentially be selling me bullshit to tap into my psychology/needs/feelings without my knowledge, to make me feel a certain way about them (tapping into the best side of me, my essential goodness and capacity to care), but not really v…

Thank you. I will check out these resources. I’m trying to consider the fact that my expectation of super straightforward no nonsense nothing disguised or veiled communication - between men and women - is not realistic, and I may have black and white ideas about seduction.

I guess for me it feels icky because I feel like to some degree it’s manipulative, they already have intentions for you, I feel like this ‘success’ is built around facilitating you to feel a certain way to sleep w them, I don’t think the woman would just sleep w a guy who doesn’t care but is entertaining them w the aim of getting them to sleep w him. The man is playing into her desires and need for attention, and women have insecurities and can be weak for that stuff. I feel these dudes are cult…
