It is a fact that women are more likely to abuse their children than men. Growing up with a mom and dad who sometimes used physical punishment, I think I know why this is. My dad had altogether stopped hitting my brother and I when we moved to the UK. I was 8 and my brother was 10. However, my mother carried on. I think she did this because people take it less seriously when a woman hits a kid.

A lot of women think that they are easier to talk to than men. They think having men confide in them is part of the patriarchy saying they need to be caring and loving. My dad knew a doctor who was wrongly accused of rape. The woman this guy was operating on had been under anaesthetic medication. It was Ketamine, which is a hallucinogen. The woman thought that he raped her during the operation and accused him, which put him under investigation. The trauma of what he endured was so bad he committed suicide before he was proven innocent.
