13	am i the only one who wants to be a stay at home dad? Because all too often, a troll would create a post that seems innocent enough, then after people upvote and respond to it, they'll edit their original post to something else that makes the subreddit look bad. 5	Have you ever tried to take up a hobby that is generally considered female? I tried my hand at cross-stiching when I was 10 or so, mostly because my sisters were doing it a lot at the time, but they made fun of me and the mistakes I was making, and so I stopped before even finishing my first pattern, even though I actually liked it. 8	Christina Hoff Sommers on Violence Against Women I really liked this talk. She does a good job pointing out examples of the misinformation that's out there on violence. 1	If the sexes were reversed this would be viewed as attemtped rape From a comment on the page: What's that saying about a woman scorned? lol! When people approach these events and issues with this light-hearted attitude, it reveals the extent to which women are like children in their minds. They think it's funny, as if they were watching a small child throw a tantrum and hit their parent's legs, because in their mind there's no way an angry woman could truly scare or hurt or ultimately rape a man. 4	/funny justifying small-penis shaming because a guy drives a hummer. The comic is funny. Placing it on a random hummer IRL isn't. When I saw the image, it seemed rather rude, but I didn't think much of it until now. 1	What would an MRA's version of their ideal woman be? I may be over-thinking this, but I suppose that there are two ways that you can interpret this question: whether you are talking about the "ideal woman" in general society, or the ideal woman you would want as a partner. As far as general society goes, even though I accept and respect the freedom of both men and women to make their own choices and be their own person, I don't think that precludes one from believing that there are certain qualities that we ought to desire and promote in society. …	/r/MensRights	16/03/12 10:30 PM
1	Proposal for a White House Council on Boys and Men Ideally, I agree that I would rather not have these divisions along gender lines, especially with university departments like Women's Studies as opposed to something more inclusive (Human Studies?). But when I look at our culture, the idea seems so ingrained in people that we need these special organizations focused solely on the female gender.
