The blue pill literally doesn't exist. It's made up by TRP-guys so they have someone to oppose.

Ah yes, the famous BP-initiation party where I got my feminist-card, the consciousness and a beta-cuck-soyboy got assigned to me.

I'm not denying any of those things just as I'm not denying that the earth is flat because in order to be able to deny something that thing has to be true in the first place. All you have to do to find out that the red pill is bs is to either exist as a woman with a consciousness or go outside and actually observe the people around you. But as with every conspiracy narrative you'll never be able to convince the people who believe in it.

There's also some women going around saying they want a gemini as a partner. That doesn't make astrology real.

It's not the height that makes him unattractive, it's the attitude. Being 5'0 might make you unattractive for a lot of women but there will also be some who don't mind that at all. But if you're an asshole and so insecure about your height, that you throw a public tantrum and attack people, that makes you insanely unattractive to pretty much all people.

So far it's been Divinity: Original Sin 2 but after playing the Early Access I feel like Baldur's Gate 3 will take it's place soon.

As someone who stayed way too long in a dead(bedroom) relationship, I'd say: try having a serious conversation, give 1 chance for improvement. If this doesn't work out, leave. Usually the dead bedroom is just one of many problems. It only started to dawn on me how bad the relationship was when I was alone and then even more when I started dating again. Retrospectively I wish I had left 3 or 4 years earlier.

Not really, I just pointed out that he probably has cause and effect mixed up, which makes a huge difference.

I don't know what statistics exactly you're talking about but they have to be interpreted correctly in general. Cause and effect and all that. So I'd guess that women who already have problems with pair bonding and forming stable relationships due to their upbringing and other factors will have a higher n-count and not that women lose their ability to bond when they have too much sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/21 07:05 PM

Women aren't band aids. We don't run out of pair bonding glue.

Men here calling pretty and beautiful women average and saying dating is so easy for us while completely ignoring actual average women and "wallflowers" is my big pet peeve.

I googled their heights our of curiosity and they're nearly the same, pretty average height (Ellen 171cm, Zac 173cm). If that already counts as manlet in your world what are guys below 170 cm? Gnomes?

I do in fact want sex when I'm horny. I know that because I experience that feeling regularly. Sure, asexual women exist but that doesn't mean the majority of women don't have a sexual desire at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 07:42 PM
13

Absolutely. Sex should never be a chore. It makes me a little sad to hear that other women have such a bad view on sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 07:29 PM
10

After sex with men. Lesbian sex seems to work way better and I think it's for 2 reasons: Women know others women's bodies better and don't have so much to learn. Unlike hetero sex, which is usually over when the men cums, they just keep going until everyone's satisfied. Both of those things can also be done in hetero relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/21 07:26 PM

Your sexlife sounds miserable. What you describe is at best pity sex and at worst rape. Lots of women have sex just for fun. Because women get horny and if done correctly sex feels amazing and is fun. Honestly, with the right partner the benefits for both greatly outweigh the negatives.

No answer to OP's question but I like that she mentioned the fact the usually TRP-guys call you an exception, say you have a niche taste or accused you of lying when you voice an opinion that doesn't align with their view of women.

Lol no. Even if I was, that wouldn't change anything about my bf.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/21 11:06 PM

I'm 5'6, my bf is only slightly taller than me (maybe 3-4 cm), and according to this list he's a 5, maybe even lower since he's going bald and doesn't have a six-pack but I think he's hot. It was the first thing I thought when I met him, even before we talked to each other. Most of my female friends said the same when I showed them pictures of him or after they met him. And he's been pretty successful with women before we met, so I guess it's more than height alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/21 03:09 PM

This list really shows how subjective attraction and beauty is. There are men at the top that I don't find attractive at all and others at 4, 5 or 6 that I would rate much higher. I mean come on, Steven Yeun is at least a 7 or 8.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/21 01:52 PM

Or you don't date a person who wants to control every minute your freetime, bc that's kinda unhealthy? Or even better, date a person with similar interests so they're more understanding and you can even play together.

Yeah, it can be a turnoff for some ppl just as a guy being a football fan or doing extreme sports would be a turnoff for me. But gaming is so big, same for anime (most ppl my age I know have at least played Wow and watched One Piece for a while) that it's a lot easier now to find someone who accepts or even shares these hobbies with you (if you don't gatekeep them...). Of course it still may take a while to find them depending on where you life. I found my bf and this great, nerdy group of frien…

Comic book movies have been huge blockbusters for over a decade, the video game industry is bigger than Hollywood, more ppl play D&D than ever before and cosplay is basically mainstream now. I think you're wrong.

Yep. I'm a very feminin woman. Cute dresses, long hair, make up an all that. But I'm also an IT-student who plays video games , D&D, paints minis and reads comics. My entire group of friends consists of nerds who don't look or act like your stereotypical nerd (meaning looking like normal people, having a stable job and generally not being a slob) except for 1 guy.

Since I'm a passionate gamer my bf being a gamer too is a big plus. It's just nice to be able to relax after a stressful day by killing monsters together.

Nerdy hobbies like gaming, comics, watching anime and D&D are more mainstream than ever. There are so many men and women who are into it and don't fall into the classic nerd cliché. I only get confronted with those stereotypes when I talk to older people or someone who's absolutely not into it but for most people my age those are pretty normal things. Also, why would I want date someone who associates being into nerdy things with being a slob? If I mentioned my biggest hobby on a date and the ot…

Job and education aren't very important. He has to be able to support his own lifestyle and not spend more than he earns. I'm also not a big fan of shift work for several reasons but that wouldn't be a deal breaker. Of course he has to be physically attractive for me, which means: not fat, well groomed beard, generally good body hygiene and doesn't dress like a hippy or hobo. Doesn't have to be super buff or super tall. Concerning age I would be hesitant to date a younger guy but I'd make an exc…

The difference isn't the perception from others, it's the intention. It's the difference between being nice or doing nice things as a means to an end. You can act nice and do nice things for others and they will initially perceive you as a nice guy. But the fact that you're not actually nice will show in the long run when you don't get the reward you expect and either insult people (typically a Nice Guy who doesn't get a relationship or sex), only show up when you want something or start whining…

There's a difference between being a nice person and doing nice things. You can be helpful and still be creepy or come across like an asshole. You can't count the times you helped an old lady across the street or held open a door, add points to your niceness-score and expect people to like you because of that. It's as others already wrote: being nice and polite is the bare minimum. It's not that women don't value nice guys, I expect a guy I'm going on a date with to be nice just as he expects me…

Yeah, that's not how it works. Not even remotely. I know a woman who got a guy to buy a house for her, then cheated on him. You know what happened? He kicked her out the second she came home after he found out.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/21 01:14 PM

So true. Several days of preparation including drawing maps and coming up with stories and characters would be way to much effort just to impress the boys.

If I hear "so you play video games because of your boyfriend?" or "your not a real D&D-fan, you just do it for attention!" ever again I think I'll throw something or someone or something at someone. The whole notion that those are "male" hobbies and most women just do it for attention from the simps is so tireing.

It's not rare tho. Most women I know have been sexually assaulted, insulted because they rejected someone or received unsolicited dick picks.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/21 12:17 PM

If it only was harmless flirting, it wouldn't be much of a problem and easy to ignore. Sadly, I've had guys blocking my way, insisting I go home with them, try to force kisses on me, send sexual messages constantly until I block them and so on. Most women I know experienced sexual assault in some form and have been sexualized from a very young age on.

Isn't the reason you go on dates to find out if you actually like that person you find attractive? I've been on boring dates with good looking guys. And while they were a "old, wet, dirty pager bag" for me because our personalities/interests don't match and we hadn't had much to talk about, they are the "total package" for someone else (to use your words). Just like lots of people probably think I'm hot but boring but my bf thinks I'm great. Everyone comes across "these people" because interacti…

As someone who loves sexy lingerie I still totally get what you mean. Finding lingerie that's comfortable and practical enough to actually wear outside of the bedroom is hard and then it's overly expensive most of the time. Still love it tho and I'm glad I found a partner who appreciates it so much he asks me if I he can take it off or if I want to keep it on.

I didn't have guy A because he's a stereotype that doesn't really exist. My ex was kinda like guy A (which is exactly what I wrote in my first comment). And of course my feelings for my partner are as important as his feelings for me are. Mutual feeling are kinda important for a happy, loving relationship. The reason why I love him iis mostly because our personalities match better, which is what it comes down to. Of course I find him physically attracktive as well but that alone doesn't help muc…

"The relationship wasn't fulfilling" is not the same as "I wasn't entertained enough", I even explicitly said that guy B sounds exhausting and I don't need constant entertainment. You also somehow got from me saying that I need a partner who turly loves me to " it doesn't matter if he actually has feelings for you in the romantic sense at all", which is the exact opposite. That's what I meant with interpreting.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/21 04:09 PM

You essentially asked the old "boring, average beta who loves you or hot, rich alpha who doesn't" question, that has been asked countless times on this sub and as always the answer is "neither". I gave you a genuine answer and explained it and you interpreted quite a lot of interesting stuff into it, that probably says more about you than me. I thought about explaining the whole "loving relationship"-thing but I honestly don't want to right now.

Nobody is constantly funny or exciting, that's just not possible. I've been with someone who was mostly boring but had his occasional good moments but that's just not enough and wasn't fulfilling at all. That's the experience I was thinking of when I wrote this answer. Generally the description of A kinda fits my ex, especially with the "love" in quotation marks. There's such a difference between settling for/staying with someone out of comfort or because you think you can't find anything better…

27, in a LTR. Neither sounds great and like someone I would want to spend my life with tbh but if I had to choose I'd take A because "simple yet comfortable life" is exactly what I want. But since he's not fun to be with, I'd rather spend my simple, comfortable life alone. As for B, he sounds exhausting and shallow. If he's a nice guy having him as a friend could be fun occasionally but I'd definitely wouldn't want to be in a committed relationship with him.

The thing is, I can't relate to most things written about women on this sub and TRP in general and neither do the women I know close enough to judge in that regard. I don't say that there aren't women in this world who are like TRP describes but I haven't met one yet and I just can't imagine that each and every woman I know is an exception to those rules.

Most flat earthers (and other conspiracy theorists) I've seen are prime examples of the Dunning-Kruger effect. If you're presented with very clear and obvious evidence that what you say is wrong and you refuse to learn, don't want to rethinking your worldview or just cherry pick information and dismiss everything that doesn't confirm your worldview, you're just ignorant. Maybe that ignorance comes from pain, sure, but that doesn't change the fact that it's ignorance.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/21 08:59 PM

Yes, of course. No one would ever dumb theories and discussions just for fun.

Nah, I'm just here for the drama and the wild red pill-theories. Reading what some of the guys here write about women and relationships is a bit like how I imagine an astronaut must feel when he listens to flat-earthers. It's great.

I want a job and money because I want to be able to pay my bills and buy food without depending on another person. And since I'll have to work until I'm old and want to buy nice things/go on vacation from time to time, I choose a field of work I like and that pays well. Not everything women do is because of men. Choosing a career based on what you think the opposite gender finds attractive has to be the worst idea.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 11:54 AM

In addition to that most women also put a lot more effort into looking good on fotos and taking selfies, which is really important on apps like tinder.

How do you get from me saying 'humans are complex, everyone has different preferences' to 'we're all the same'? That's literally the opposite of what I wrote.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/03/21 11:07 PM

Nowhere did I say that I represent all women. I'm actually pretty certain that no single woman can represent all women. Because humans are complex and nuanced, as I already wrote.

Thank you for writing this post. I've been thinking about posting something similar but I wouldn't have been able to word it do well. Plus I'm just not willing to debate all the people who'd tell me how wrong I am. As a pansexual woman, who generally treats people the same whatever gender they may be, reading all the men vs women-theories and dating strategies on here can be very bizarre. Agreed. Just because something looks good from the outside doesn't mean it's actually good. Me and my ex kept up the facade of the happy couple for years. Most people were surprised when we broke up and asked me why would leave such an ambitious, friendly and polite man. I have a problem with it because: a. My hornyness has very little to do with the time of my ovulation or my fertile days. I know that for a fact. Plus I don't even want kids. And b. what you say is false according to scientific findings, as I already wrote. But arguing with you seems pretty pointless. I'm just repeating "I have a libido" and you keep saying "no" in more and more elaborate ways.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 11:55 PM

That all sounds very smart, I give you that, but it completely contradicts my everyday experience. And modern science for that matter. Just because Siegmund Freud said it 100 years ago doesn't mean it's true.

Going by that definition of "sex drive", man don't have it either since it's not a basic need or urge like hunger or thirst.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 10:40 PM

Finally someone explained to me that I don't have a high libido, I just want sex all the time because of my cycle. I'm sure glad that there are smart men out there, who know my thoughts and feelings better than I do.

I have sex with my partner and back when I was single I masturbated because I do in fact have a sex drive. Why else would vibrators and dildos even exist?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 09:20 PM
3

It's always funny to read comments like that as a woman, knowing that the reason I want sex is simply because I'm horny. No transactions (except for body fluids of course), no underlying intention.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/21 09:10 PM

At no point did I say that this affects only women. Men have to give consent too and can suffer from the same problems. Empathy isn't your strongest skill, it seems.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 10:11 PM

That's why you should merry someone you actually like.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/21 08:31 PM

I honestly don't care. My boyfriend was a bit insecure about it when we first met and he's rarely insecure about anything, so I get that it's a big deal for a lot of men. But he's an attractive guy and the amount of hair on his head doesn't change that. If a man wants to do something about it or not is on him. He has to feel comfortable in his own body. My boyfriend decided to keep a nice haircut until that doesn't work anymore and than shave it all off, which is absolutely fine with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/02/21 06:40 AM
2

And even if you ask mid sex like "you want to try x?" or something like that, it 's not a problem. My boyfriend is a lot more experienced than me, so he regularly has ideas during sex what he wants to try and asks me. So far, it has never killed the mood, even if I wasn't into what he suggested and said "no".
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/21 09:34 AM
3

Essentially what I'm trying to say. If you're not 100% sure, just ask. Doing something your partner doesn't enjoy will definitely kill the mood, asking for consent not.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/21 10:23 PM
4

Explaining to a woman what women find sexually attractive is peak manspaining and I rarely use that word. But going from what you wrote so far, this discussion is pretty pointless anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/21 09:09 PM
1

Did you actually read what I wrote? Shy, inexperienced, past trauma. All reasons why someone might not "just say something". Just be nice and considerate. It's not that hard to ask for consent in a sexy way btw.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/21 08:48 PM
4

Not asking your what he/she likes might lead to exactly those things with an inexperienced, shy or traumatized partner if you don't know them well enough or read their body language wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/21 08:38 PM

You know what makes my pussy dry even faster? Rape, sexual assault and feeling uncomfortable in a sexual situation. I'm not as shy as I was in past but teenage/early 20s me was happy when my partner asked questions like thus.

Got to disagree on the height thing. While it seems to important to a lot of women, some don't care. My boyfriend is only about 5cm/2 inches taller than me (I'm average height) and the first time I saw him, I instantly thought "oh shit, he's hot." Female sexuality is another completely different topic. While it's true that there is a lot more pressure on men to perform well (which is not ok at all) , there are so many myths and misconceptions surrounding female sexuality that some women can't ev…

It's hard to tell. I guess I would have been more insecure about myself and reluctant to enter a serious relationship than already was with the 4 months gap. And the first few months would have been even more bumpy. So I think it would have worked mainly because my boyfriend is a very understanding and patient man but I'm glad that I had those 4 months to reflect and get to know myself better.

After my last breakup I planned on staying single for a while but entered a new relationship only 4 months later because I met an awesome guy and fell in love with him. My new boyfriend actually helped me reflect on what went wrong with my ex because he is more mature in his behavior and our dynamic is much more balanced and healthy. That's the problem. There is no "what women want" because women are human beings. Humans and human society is far too complex to put us into neat boxes and apply a strickt set of rules. Everyone wants something a little bit (or completely) different. Sure, some women want tall, rich guys with a high social status, others don't care about that and look for other qualities in a partner. TRP has those rules about what women want and how women behave but when women like me tell them this is not what…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/21 08:01 AM

I've spent a lot of time reading/listening to TRP-stuff - mostly for my amusement - and as far as I can tell it's sexism and the same old stereotypes masked behind pseude-science. Most of the time I feel like TRP-guys talk about some alien race and not about people of my gender. So yeah, I too warn fellow women about those type of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/21 09:55 PM
17

Men who are into TRP are not doing this "for us". If you actually wanted to do something for a woman you'd actually listen to what she says and not some dude on the internet. TRP is for the biggest part deeply misogynists and dehumanizing.

If you ask a woman for dating advice, she'll probably tell you what would work for her. At least that's what I would do. And since we aren't a hive mind and every woman wants something a little different, you'll always get slightly or completely different answers depending on who you ask, which in turn leads to men saying "women don't know what they want" and a bunch of them made up some rules because people like having rules, even if they don't make sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/21 02:24 PM
3

You can't generalize what women want in men, that much is true. But the reason is much simpler: women are individuals. I know exactly what I want in a relationship but it's something different than what for example my best friend, my mom or my neighbor wants.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/21 02:10 PM

No attention at all? That sounds like some Greek-mythology-style curse that would drive most people insane, man and woman alike.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/21 07:37 PM

This is it. Sure, there are moments when I wear a short dress because I want to be sexy and feel wanted by my boyfriend. Most of the times I just exist. I wear whatever I think looks nice and is comfortable and I absolutely do not want to be seen as a sex object all the time.

Maybe not empowering but I don't need to feel empowered, sexy or wanted every single minute of the day. Sometimes I just want to chill on the beach without getting any comments or being stared at.

Women aren't vending machines where throw in a "I did the laundry" - coin and sex comes out. IMO if I live in a shared household, I do my part of the chores. It doesn't matter if I have sex with the people I live with or not, it's just part of being an adult. Chances are that if you're lazy and leave all the housework to your girlfriend/wife, she'll get frustrated, angry or tired and won't have sex with you. Not because you didn't "do it for her" but because you behave like an ass and treat her …

Programming was originally considered work for women. It only stared being a more male dominanted field in the 60s and 70s. Now more and more women are getting back into it. At my university the number of women in IT keeps rising each year. In my year we're pretty much 50/50 men and women.

The myth that the left side of the brain is for logical skills and right for creative ones has been debunked years ago. And as a socially awkward IT student I can assure you that I'm not better at emotional tasks and worse at logical tasks just because I'm a woman. IMO most of it depends on upbringing and education.

When I was a teen/early 20s I was a typical "Not like the other girls" - girl and some guys made me feel like I'm one of those unicorns. Then I grew older, interacted more with other women and people in general and realized that those "other girls" don't really exist. Those guys were just ignorant and believed in a lot of sexist stereotypes.

As a woman, let me tell you: that is bullshit. I'm in a learning-group with other women from my class because we get along so well. Other example is my mom and her former colleagues (all women) , who haven't been working together for several years and still meet regularly. And I'm pretty sure there are plenty groups like that.

Of course you're still going to have regular conversations is a relationship but getting to know your partner is still important. For example I'm an introvert and tend to keep a lot of my thoughts and problems to myself but my partner learned to read my body language well enough to know when something is troubling me and knows how to handle that. It's just a skill that makes every kind of relationship easier, not just romantic ones.

Actually I'd date the guy I get along with and like spending time with more. Neither attractiveness nor money alone are a good basis for a happy, healthy relationship.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
