Sometimes you have to follow what your value is and eff that atty. Thats what I did and won 50/50 of my kid despite the odds. Present a strong case thats undeniable. That said, I quickly figured out that I am highly competitive and started chipping away- back through an adult ed program at 21.. then numerous certifications (Divemaster and EMT), got an AA a few years later, then my BA (from a state school not a diploma mill) and am in my last year of grad school at Harvard all while raising kids as a single dad.
