Behavior from a disorder can result in abuse but that doesn’t mean abuse is part of a disorder… Of course people with ADHD can be abusive. So can neurotypicals, so can someone with OCD, so can someone with only one hand… His lack of management of his ADHD may be resulting in abusive behavior, but that’s his own abusive behavior. That isn’t “ADHD’s fault.” considering most people (with or without ADHD) aren’t abusive…

I am not against no fault divorce mainly because I think everyone — man or woman — should be free to leave any relationship without the state policing it. If you want lower divorce rates, then there are many other ways to genuinely do that rather than forcing people to stay married when they don’t want to be.

You don’t seem to be very educated on alimony and child support. Most divorces today — even if one partner stays home and doesn’t work — will not be awarded alimony, and of the few that are (less than 10% of divorces), will be awarded short term alimony and the SAHSpouse would’ve been home for years and years. I am not on Depp’s side at all, and in fact find him pretty despicable. But you do know both attorneys get a say in who is on the jury, yes? It’s not as if Depp’s lawyers just picked a bunch of misogynists and then Heard’s lawyers had to deal with it… BOTH side take part in jury selection. So this is a stretch.

MOST people can be vetted, if you actually take off the rose-tinted glasses. The people who are so manipulative and terrible that no one can sus them out are rare outliers. Yes to all of that! If we can raise strong daughters, we can raise sensitive sons. Not to mention as women we can pretty safely say we were influenced by our mothers and our fathers. Does she really think boys are somehow not influenced by their mothers and other women, and only by men?? And that the only answer is literal sex-selective genocide??
