Well there is a theory I've read in some of RM's blog posts that women value alpha and beta traits more based on where they are in their ovulatory cycle. Basically when they're ovulating they want alpha sperm to get the best genetics and when they're not they value more beta traits because they show a man that will take care of them. A practiced TRP'er can use this information to dial the alpha up and down based on the cycle of the woman in question. In theory if this is done correctly it will m…

The worst thing are the feelings of inadequacy that come from not being able to sexually attract women. A man in my position starts feeling emasculated and of lower worth than other men. The problem is that you are defining a man as someone who can attract a good looking female and successfully mate with her. That is the most basic definition of a man and you are putting way too much emphasis on it. What you should do is redefine what being a man means. For example you could say being a man mean…

I have no problem with vigilantism but I do have a problem with people jumping to conclusions when they don't know the whole story. Well that's kinda the whole problem with vigilantism. Personal convictions get in the way of due process making it very difficult to discover trickery and set-ups. Vigilantes are easily manipulated.

Thanks for the analysis. You're kind of addressing something that was bugging me. She didn't seem all that cold when canceling, however my guess was that she's trying to alleviate her conscience of agreeing and then loosing interest. That you interpret it differently is interesting. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to reply with a "Sounds good" and see what happens since I'm assuming a lost cause anyway.

I see your points, thanks for the break down. Initially I thought it would show me as a busy person but I see that it is unnecessary. The second part of that message was just plain bad, I guess I included it to double check if it was a flake. Won't be doing that ever again.

or even automatically reinvested in whatever’s generating the dividends (which leads to more dividends next quarter). This is what I was taught to do. Automatically reinvesting the dividends in what is giving you those dividends gives two benefits. Firstly the increasing dividend payout as you pointed out, and secondly tax benefits. You pay tax when the stocks are sold and the money is paid to your account, therefore when reinvesting like this you are buying more stocks with the money you earned…

Yeah but I read on RP that men shouldn't trust women with other men because by default that man will try to fuck her. It is my understanding that this doesn't really apply to a normal work-situation (You wouldn't fuck at work in the middle of the day), but more so if your LTR began doing things outside of work with a guy, especially alone with this guy. That is always classified as a date and not to be tolerated in an LTR. If the man she is dating has a HIGH SMV she should have no reason to leav…

This isn't necessarily drug-fueled (although there is a lot of that, yes), it just takes years naturally. I agree, you don't have to look jacked, you have to look like a model.

Ass-kissing is a bit general, but yes this is in relation to the 48 laws of power. That is not to say hard work doesn't have its merits. It is important to know how to, and when to work hard.

My point was that if there is something important to your mission suddenly happening, then that vacation can wait. However if the work in question is not mission critical it is more important to say "no" and get on that beach. If there are kids in the mix of course there is a need to prioritize your family as well. But as I understood this was a case of a family of two sans any offspring.

As a man your work is often a part of your mission, and your mission does not give way for anything. Not women, nor vacations - planned or otherwise, nor any other silly excuses or distractions you can think of.

The only tattoo I've ever really considered getting was when my best buddy suggested all of us in our 4-buddy group get a four leaf clover to symbolize our friendship. We never went for it though. Friends grow distant too. Maybe not into oblivion, but when you keep growing you will always grow in different directions.

I assume these rules are for women you have met in person first? I am asking because I've found that when using tinder or any other online "dating" site, unless she is a superslut, there is a need for at least some rapport-building.

The media can make you aware of certain subjects. However it is reported by people who can't even do correct percentage calculations, therefore the "facts" reflect the reporter's ignorance and fear. In short; ALWAYS do your own research.

"Good" and "Evil" is such a hamfisted and cheap way of telling a story. I much more like stories where all the characters are fleshed out. Where you can't really tell who is the "good guy" and who is the "bad guy" because everybody is just doing things their own way to achieve what they need/want. When looking at more lighthearted movies/stories I like to look at it from the supposedly "bad guy's" side. What I've found is that the antagonist in many cases hasn't done anything wrong/illegal and t…

Your first quote just mentions Thingujam's interpretation of the study done by Saranya and Velayudhan. How did Saranya and Velayudhan define self regulation? And how did they measure it? What were the exact results (i.e. not the authors interpretation of the results)? The last one is a bit of a stretch for a comment, but you need to give at least the first two for this to have any academic merit. The second part of the quote explains the test a little bit, but again the definition of regulation …

I didn't quite get the transition from approaching to locking in. Seems a bit strange to walk up to someone, start talking to them, and then turning your body away from them. Or is this strictly for when they approach you or you are in a larger group/circle of people?

I think you're making excuses here. A good degree will give you so much more than anything a woman can give you, now or in the future. And it's not like you have to choose between the two, you just have to wait a few weeks. Think of it as a few long, tough weeks in the gym. Just man up and finish that shit. Make it your goal and don't let ANYTHING deter you. Also continue going to the actual gym during this period, it'll help you relax your brain and give you energy. This is what I did when I wa…

I don't really like the past. I respect it for what it teaches me, and every now and then I'll reflect on it to see what I can learn or may have forgotten. But the past was a worse version of me, a less wise version. Therefore I never want to go back. The future however has so much potential, it is really quite beautiful. As a perpetual min/max-er this helps me move forward.

I was on my way to a few of these realizations by myself before I found TRP. This sub accelerated the process for me and explained a lot of things that previously made no sense. So in a sense this sub just smacked me on the back to help it go down. Am I happy with being shown what the real world looks like? I will always want to know the truth. Ignorance is always a detriment to your health in one way or another. It is also pointless to not accept something you know to be true. However the world…

Nice post. Women can show weakness and be sexy but men cannot, even when such a woman is begging to see that weakness so she can “feel connected to you” it is always the burden of man not to give in to such sugar-coated duplicity. I'm pretty sure this is how bromances start.

This seems like sidebar material to me, after cleaning up the two merging sentences below: If she insults me with what she KNOWS to be a frivolous insult and I don’t react negatively I If I act upset or insult her back, she loses attraction because I am displaying weak emotions and I show myself to be a suitable partner because I can destroy weak emotions in a way she can’t. This clears up a few things to me, as I would eventually like to tackle a lifelong LTR. You have to dismiss women’s anxiet…

Extremely common. The sluttyness rating is raised by at least five factors for women on vacation. I've heard variations such as "It is not cheating if you're in another country" "What he doesn't know won't hurt him" "There is not chance of him finding out" "That is half the fun of a girl vacation" etc.

You should ask a few of your female friends to tell you some stories from the girlfriend-vacations they've been on (and also try to dig deeper to find out what their girlfriends did on that trip). Then ask which ones were truly single. Then you will understand.

That analogy is pretty good! It's like if a woman tells her bf that she wants him to dominate her in bed. Bf then proceeds to dominate her the next time. However this does not arouse her as much as it should because he is doing as she told him to do, ergo not really dominating her.

Some do, some don't. Some do something in between, some will be smacked in the face by reality. Only religious fanatics deal in absolutes. My point is that although I acknowledge that exhibiting the attitudes discussed by TRP community and the manosphere will work on almost all women because nature built them that way, many of them are still capable of rational thought. This in turn means that they are capable of policing their own instincts, which many of them do, but probably an equal amount o…

I pretty much agree with you. I agree with much here on TRP, but some people seem to think that women are almost mindless animals just acting on their impulses/instinct. I think women are equally capable of being as great as they wish, just like us men. However for this to happen I think they must individually decide for themselves, and impose changes and improvements on their lives just like we at TRP are advocating and trying to do to ourselves. I have seen a few women do this, but if society …

Some of my opinions: She was so infatuated that she just skipped school to come to spend 2 weeks with me. She is skipping exams and important shit. That's not good. Education is important and a high quality woman would be able to control her desires until she finished her exams and other important stuff. She also follows me to the gym or park everyday when I workout. She follows me to work on the subway to "see me off"... Probably cute a couple of times, but irritating for more than that. Gave m…

It seems to me that what you are describing is a learning process. You are doing the best with what knowledge you have and you fail again and again. But you don't make the same mistake more than once or twice assuming you caught it when analyzing the situation later. This is the reason serious fighters videotape their fights from different angles. They don't know what mistakes they made until they analyze the fight afterwards. Don't worry, keep it up. You'll be good at it in no time.

But those training standards are minimums, and some women could choose to exceed them if they worked at it. She is rationalizing why she failed, and how it is not her fault, but the training system's fault. I don't completely agree with that statement. You are trained in school that a certain amount of effort will net you a certain grade. If we assume a person has gotten the top grade any more effort just goes to waste. So if there is only one requirement, and you reach that then you are trained…

Kyokushin Karate is called "the strongest karate", although that is not what the word means, and is quite known/popular. There is another version that is called Shinkyokushin which tries to keep more with the old ways regarding techniques, but both has the same founder. It should be said that you need to stick with it a couple of years for it to really grip you. Good friends among the lines are good helpers.

Hardcore Kyukushin Karate training and tough as nails sensei/senpai taught me me willpower and how much hard work is required to reach goals. 5 hours of examinations. This included walking in specific positions (among them a 90 degree "sitting" position) for 3.5 hours doing techniques and combinations getting more and more complicated as you got more and more tired. And these had to be done at full power all the time or you failed. One half hour of push-ups, sit-ups, killers and tougher variatio…
