Sometimes this sub is so fucking bent on "owning feminist" that they completely fucking miss the clear point of a post. Women and Children aren't allowed to be in the Palestinian army, meaning that almost half of the casualties cause by the Israelis who claim to only be "defending themselves" are non-combattants, civilians. The show's creator wanted to make it about children learning how to figure things out by themselves, hence why the parents weren't shown or mentioned. The show however took a different direction the last two seasons due to what I'm guessing is the change in production company.

I disagree, self loathing is a serious topic and tons of people in our society have resorted to hating on their own identity as a way to deflect criticism from their own mentality.
