I worked for decades in the trades. Usually got pretty dirty everyday. I wouldn't let my wife wash my work clothes because they usually came out still looking dirty. Apparently a little stain remover was too difficult to use. I didn't mind getting dirty but you don't go in looking that way. Not a good look to the customer.
