If you aren’t good with one-liners, you could always just try laughing it off and admitting it. Like, in a joking way if you were to say, while smiling, “you caught me red handed”, it would come across as pretty smooth. This approach really could take the wind out of her sails. I grew up in a neighborhood where there was a lot of mean spirited teasing and it was almost a matter of survival to handle it well (appear confident and unruffled), not blushing and angry. It’s hard though, if a MIL want…

Here’s what I would do. See if you can locate the phone via searching for a Bluetooth connection. This info is avail online. This way, if the phone gets moved, you could find it. Put the phone back. Make a plan that you need to go out of town. Share the plan with her well in advance. Hire a PI to tail her while you are out of town. I had a friend do this and he had hard evidence that day. I think the phone is basically 100% chance evidence she’s cheating, but if you want her to admit it, she wil…

Agree about changing paradigm. I did mention in the original post what I’m doing. Essentially, I’m living in my frame, not reacting to hers. It’s already starting to work.

This is my plan. To get out of a hole, stop digging. BTW, the advice on this site is legit. STFU, DNGAF combined with losing weight in neck and cheeks due to SL has already resulted in major renegotiation of the family chores and my first IOI in a long time. Thanks!

Feel like you might be worrying to much about what your wife thinks of your mother. If your mom wants to help out, I wouldn’t stand in the way of it, if your wife vents to you, could you just do the “hmm. Interesting” thing advocated on this sub and go handle shit for your family?

What I’m saying is that on the marriage subreddit, I’ve read many threads which describe the possible future of the OP. I actually think it’s interesting to read that sub because you hear the same stories you read here, but from BP perspective. A lot of ILYBINILWY. Basically rather than telling the guy what to do, I’m trying to give him some insight into a pattern that he might be falling into. Namely, beta comfort provider.

Yes this is my situation. Currently 225. In college was having girls basically throw themselves at me at 180. As a grown man, I’d be very happy <200.

Sounds like your intuition is telling you this girl still has feelings for somebody else. I’m not saying what you should do, but it really does seem like you are starting down the road of beta bux. I’m sorry to have to say this. I’ve seen too many posts on the marriage subreddit of guys complaining their sex life has immediately dried up after marriage (and are getting nagged and insulted), and also posts from ladies having second thoughts about getting married.

Thanks for explaining that. 15% bf would be the fat loss I'm looking for.

Thanks for sharing this. This is so fing inspiring to me, as there are lots of similarities. Question about your physique change (this and passing shit tests are really my main focus). Did you do cardio or HIIT, anything like that? Diet changes? I’m just trying to avoid crap and eat good, stop when I’m full.

I agree philosophically with you. Unfortunately, I'm one month into my progress with a 17 year long marriage. So, worried that vasectomy=rambo, in my particular situation. So, I'm balancing using techniques which have worked for me (cycle tracking, pull out, lamb skins occasionally) vs. the finality of an operation.

I just meant that going behind the back for vasectomy felt like a betrayal. Not "getting a vasectomy". But I see in your flair that you are Hard Core. Thats awesome for you. I'm not really there. Just eating better, getting in shape now, doing some reading and not being a pushover. One day at a time.

Yeah, it would be a huge amount of work. Especially for me b/c I was BP and just did whatever was asked of me...leading me to not take care of myself. But, gotta say after the baby phase, I really love that I have children. My wife is a good mother and kids are sweet, good looking intelligent and kind.

That seems like a break of the marriage vows. To me, at least. Again, I'm just trying to start on this journey....look better, figure out what I want, but I am operating under an additional layer of complexity due to this third child issue.

Ovulation is a layup to great sex. Feels different.

That’s bad ass that you are happy with 4. First kid chopped my free time in half. Second kid took the other half. I’m just getting it back this year with them both in school/preschool. Not looking forward to going back. One of my problems was I was self employed so a lot of my energy got sucked up into helping the older child when the second baby was born.

I was surprised how much she liked it when I carried her upstairs recently.

I too live in USA and talked to a vasectomy clinic. They mentioned nothing about wife sign off.

Yes, I feel like I am battling biology. I’m worried if I get a vasectomy, it will cause dead bedroom.

I joined YMCA after 1 year fitness boot camp. Partly because I need a place to go during the day (self employed). Also practicing my sprints on the basketball court. What do you all do besides lift? I’m thinking about Basketball and HIIT (stuff like we did at boot camp, burpees, push-ups, lunges, box drills).

Sorry to hear it. Kids are expensive, for sure. Good luck.

Do I tell her I’m getting a vasectomy?

On third week of SL after 1 year fitness boot camp. 6’, 225. Don’t know max lift numbers yet, started at the bar. Goal is under 200. Don’t know body fat, but I am at least 30 lbs overweight, so too high. Do you find that % on a electronic scale?

I would say that if you answer "yes" every time and she keeps asking you, then she's looking for a "no". Here's a way to test that assumption: say "no" the second time. If she doesn't ask you again, then, she was looking for a "no". I realize that this line of thinking is in her frame. Just wanted to answer your question directly via normal common sense.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
