I wanted to marry the mother, but she changed her mind. She cut off contact with me during the pregnancy. I had no idea what her intentions were. I knew about the adoption laws in Utah. I did not sleep well for months. I was so stressed and scared she would take him to Utah and have him adopted. With a little luck, and a lot of money I was able to get joint custody of my son.
