You know I regretted never finishing out Boy Scouts and becoming an Eagle Scout. With that being said, I do not have any idea why they would allow girls into the scouts. If the girl scouts wanted to incorporate more "boyish" attributes and skills (i.e. life lesson skills) then they should. But the issue is that even little girls at that age mostly do not want to do boy things.

Yeah, just means that she did something that was against regulation for normal operational standards of the ship or mission, or the sailors did something that she was ultimately responsible for. It could be a million things, but ultimately the responsibility falls on the commanders for the well-being of shipboard operations and mission. Mission above all.

I'm a Navy vet, and left as a first class. First and foremost, I'd suggest not using the bit about pledging yourself to your country. It makes you seem like a real boot.
