Both are meant to be private. One became public because of the victim's own stupidity, the others became public because their accounts were hacked into and photos taken. You really don't think there is a difference?

Well, if you post your own info you can delete it whenever you want. If someone else posts it you lose that ability. I mean, don't get me wrong, posting your info at all is damn stupid, but at least there's some sort of logic at work here.

How does that in any way translate to "too many"? What he is saying is that Wikipedia fields contributions from users who have views considered to be out of the norm, including mysogynists. How Wikipedia handles this while keeping to its goal of being impartial is a valid question. At no point does he say that they should be banned, or that there are too many of them.

Sigh. I dislike categorising people who have attribute Y because they possess attribute X, yes. But it happens. Where such categorisations are made, it would be nice to see some statistical evidence to support it, rather than personal anecdotes.

Maybe sitting quietly and keeping a neat notebook and gossiping about friends is the worst thing possible for the survival of our species. Well, I'd love to see some evidence of that. Given that there is proof that sitting quietly and learning is to the benefit of the individual (and society), claiming the opposite is interesting to say the least. I really don't understand why you're claiming that paying attention to things is a solely female behaviour.
