Who said anything about ancient tribes? But in any case, the answer is…depends on the tribe

That thought process and behavior pattern is detrimental to a woman’s survival I’ll have what you’re smoking, friend

Uhh…no? But as it’s an extremely impoverished area wages there would be significantly lower than the national averages.

Everyone’s full of anecdotes, nobody’s got the data to back them up. Per BLS stats, electricians and plumbers make a median of $60k. For HVAC techs that figure is $51k, for tile setters $49k. Add to that the fact that a huge number of tradespeople (perhaps even a majority) get taken out by injuries before they hit 50, and it’s pretty obvious to anyone who’s looked at the numbers that white collar work >>> blue collar work.

We have not raised our men to be truly vulnerable Lmao

Just gotta remember whoever someone is in their 30s, that's likely who they will be for the remainder of their life. Any issues they have are pretty much permanent. Yeah this is complete and utter nonsense.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/23 01:27 AM

Absolute nonsense. What if a woman wouldn’t sleep with you if she found out that you had minimal assets and $100k in student loan debt? Should you be required to disclose that before engaging in sexual activity? What about your citizenship status? Whether you like dogs? Whether you’ve ever done cocaine? Whether you occasionally enjoy wearing women’s underwear? Whether you gave your buddy a brojob that one time in college? Whether you fucked her best friend’s sister 5 years ago? There are a milli…

Perhaps I misunderstood. But “regularly” would be context-dependent, of course. If you’re sleeping with a new partner every ~3 months, you’d need to get tested every 3 months, at the end of each relationship (or disclose that your STI status is unknown when asked). Every ~2 years? Get tested every 2 years. If you’re a virgin, you’d only need to get tested once, and that test would be valid until you engage in sexual activity.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 10:10 PM
2

Yes. The options would be to get a one-time test, or inform your partner that your STI status is unknown. (You could additionally inform them that you’re a virgin, which would make the probability of you having an STI very low, but that would be entirely optional.)
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 09:55 PM

Sure, but having empathy does not imply that you will make decisions solely according to another person’s wants and needs. That would be sociotropy. Not really sure if I can simplify it any further.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 09:46 PM
5

Not really. Responsible adults should get tested regularly. “I haven’t engaged in sexual activity with anyone since my last STI screening - all tests came back negative” would be the end of that discussion.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 09:37 PM

However if you care about what the other person wants in any interaction there will be 2 people thinking about what they want and no one thinking about what you want. This is a description of sociotropy, not empathy. Your entire argument is flawed because you don’t understand the meaning of “empathy.”
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 09:34 PM

Empathy does not imply sociotropy. Your entire premise is flawed.

In the vast majority of cases, women only engage men in “casual relationships” only when they’re holding out/still looking for a higher-value partner
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 08:37 PM

otherwise women would be going after married guys which is not the norm Clearly you’ve never worn a wedding band to a bar

Disclosing your sexual history is absolutely not required for “informed consent.” That’s a pretty bizarre take tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 06:52 PM

Nope. That’s still social proof, just negative. A guy who’s “been around the block” either refuses to commit (aka fuckboy), or is getting dumped repeatedly because of some flaw that renders him unmarriageable.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 05:42 PM

And ironically actually listening to it proves a man is low value lol

Women aren’t (necessarily) dumb, of course, but that’s irrelevant. No, my point is that any woman will immediately pick up on the fact that you’re intentionally dodging the question, which is a big red flag for the reasons I mentioned above. And yeah, most people don’t always tell the whole truth…but they’re not likely to completely fabricate exes either.

Wait you actually think that braiding your hair can somehow increase the activity of matrix keratinocytes inside your scalp’s hair follicles? Jfc 🤦‍♂️
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 06:45 AM

I don’t doubt that, but it’s not because it’s growing 1in/month lol And sure, look at pages 5-6: https://link.springer.com/content/pdf/10.1684/ejd.2015.2726.pdf (Just picked one that specifically includes African Americans as well)

What if the dude in the thread has a hair routine which allows him to grow his hair maximally Lol hair growth rate is almost entirely genetic. Unless you have severe nutritional deficiencies, there are no known pharmaceutical drugs or supplements that can increase it. But go off my totally-not-retarded lil buddy

So you don’t even understand what a “standard deviation” is, but I’m the retard. Okay lil homie

If she asks about your dating history say something like, "since I met you, my past relationships are a hazy, distant memory. Everything in my past is going to stay there. I'm fully focused on the here and now, with you, and I'm so excited about where we can take it from here." Lmao how dumb do you think women are? Might as well just put an “I’ve never been in a relationship before” sticker on your forehead. (Either that, or you’ve got some really sketchy skeletons in your closet that you don’t …

/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 04:39 AM

You can’t take population-level probability estimates for events like lightning strikes and grizzly bear attacks and apply them to a park ranger. There are over 8 billion people on the planet. If we’re talking about continuous phenotypes, ranges aren’t particularly interesting. Means and their associated standard deviations, however, are. A z-score of 13 corresponds to a probability far lower than one in a trillion. It’s more like one in 1039. Use a calculator if you don’t believe me.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 03:44 AM
2

That’s not how statistics work. 2.54 cm/month would be more than 13 standard deviations above the mean. Assuming a normal distribution, the odds of that are less than one in a trillion.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 01:00 AM

Measure it with a ruler sometime. There’s just absolutely no way. African hair grows at an average of ~.75 cm per month, with an SD of ~.13 cm. If your hair grows 1 cm per month that would put you at the ~98th percentile in terms of hair growth rate. 1 inch per month is completely out of the question. source.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/11/23 12:46 AM

Bruh there is absolutely no way your hair grows more than 1/2 an inch per month Out of all ethnicities blacks have the slowest growing hair

Yeah bro just go to art school the girls there won’t care that the average middle school boy is bigger than you…lol
/r/PurplePillDebate16/09/23 09:28 PM

No this phenomenon actually drops off past a certain threshold. I’m 6’4.75” (measured barefoot with stadiometer) and I’ve never had anyone suggest that I’m taller than I actually am.

All the “energy, wit, style, and class” in the world won’t save you from getting brutally mogged when an average-height teenager stands next to you…

Eh irl “6ft” means 5’10”+ (aka the people who call themselves “6ft”), which is around half of younger men

Lol bro just “get a career job” (super easy btw) and spend a couple hundred hours in the gym. Meanwhile the average young woman just smears some makeup on her face in the morning, gets fat off of Starbucks sugar bombs and fast food, and spends every moment of free time mindlessly scrolling Instagram or TikTok

Lol I’m not, I’ve just seen how this usually ends. Don’t worry, I’m sure your marriage will be different.

I have a tradwife who may or may not know that I suck at sex, but it’s okay my life is so boring I can keep an eye on her pretty much 24/7 Out here living every man’s dream

…huh? That’s called “breaking someone’s trust.” Because in a monogamous relationship, you’re trusting your partner not to jeopardize your health by giving you an STD.

Lol what are you on about, breaking someone’s trust is the only thing wrong with cheating

Hah. Whatever helps you sleep at night. They always find out. Once she does, make sure she’s not spending too much time alone at home while José the gardener’s weeding the flower beds…

Yeah this is such a dumb analogy, for the vast majority of workers job hopping every few years is objectively the best decision. Your boss Bobby (who also just so happens to be the CEOs dim witted nephew) isn’t going to suck you off and pay you 20% over market rate for your labor just because you’ve been a loyal slave for 25 years. Fuckin boomer mindset lol

Men have more personality, more entertaining than women. Men tend to entertain other men. Women tend to entertain other women. Jackass isn’t objectively any funnier than your average female-directed romcom. They simply appeal to different audiences. The failure of so many men to grasp such a simple concept is, on balance, a strike against men if I’m being completely honest. Greater amount of pure talent. Doubt. Women get together to talk about men. Men get today to complain about their favorite …
