Do you need me to send sources for how muscle growth works? Because it's fairly simple. Myofibrils are damaged while weight lifting and then during the recovery phase your body synthesizes new protein (such that there is more total protein than when you started). I'm not saying you won't build muscle working out the same body part daily. I'm saying you won't build as much as if you alternated days.

The process of muscle growth has already been elucidated by science. Broscience doesn't change this fact. Microtears are not "actual damage" but do exist and are the root of muscle growth. And you can work a body part three times a day. It will still build muscle it just won't be as effective.

To new weight lifters reading this: try to totally disregard everything you just read and just go over to fitness and read the side bar. Or bodybuilding and read the side bar. And please don't lift the same muscle group two days in a row ever. Muscles grow by having microtears and then rebuilding slightly larger and stronger every time. The growth comes in the days after lifting. The optimum frequency for working a muscle is 5 times every two weeks.

A lot of people use alcohol with no long term side effects. Some smokers live to 90.

Why drink alcohol at a young age if you're not a professional alcohol consumer? It trades short term good for long term bad. Everyone weighs it differently.

Women who are willing to admit that they've had more sexual partners are also willing to admit to cheating more often. Sex statistics are worthwhile as women are honest.

"If you go out, hot as you may be when you're 18, you have little to no control over succeeding in getting a girl's number or a date. And as experience will tell you it's a 1/20 shot you will succeed, and that's assuming you have good game." That's ludicrous. The other day there was a homeless man on the front page whose hit rate is nearly 100%. Your level of game dictates your success rate, not a random 20 sided die.

I think what you're asking is how to deal with oneitis. How to deal with a flake is easy - you delete her number and move on. But this is your first and you think she's special (spoiler alert, she isn't. she doesn't love you. she's dating someone else but cheats a lot). Fuck her if you want. If she flakes send something very low effort and expect to never talk to her again.

Then I think you should ask your stepdad how frequently he would bench. Because if he really was a successful powerlifter, he'd explain to you how muscles grow and why it would be extremely counterproductive to lift the same muscle group two days in a row.

I did not see in the comment section that you use a hand gripper. However I stand by my statement that you will put on far less muscle doing something 4-5 times per week than you will 3x per week.
/r/TheRedPill01/07/14 05:55 AM
3

A 30 minute workout 3x a week is much, much, much better than doing what OP is suggesting. Not only do you only work on one muscle group, but you're doing it daily which is just misguided. 90 minutes a week is not a lot of time. Make room for it and don't half ass it. It's worth it to do it right. If you really want to do something while at work, get a hand gripper.

Fair enough. My point is that outsiders rarely know the real reason why relationships end. e.g. a hell of a lot of relationships end when one person catches the other cheating, but no one ever tells their friends they were dumped because they got caught cheating. If you asked my ex's friends why we split up, they'd probably think it was because I was just bored.

Literally anything works on tinder. I had a tinder experiment too. If you're fairly attractive, your words are meaningless and no matter what you say you won't get rejected. I asked a girl to drive me to home depot for me to "pick up supplies" before I fucked her. She said okay. Then I got her number. Pictures are 100% of tinder. CDC definition of infertility - not conceiving after one year link But I think these are the stats you're looking for: Chance of becoming pregnant after one year of "trying" by age "Here is one of the most commonly cited estimates on the percentage chance of conception after one year of trying: Age 20: 90% probability Age 30: 70% probability Age 35: 55% probability Age 40: 45% probability Age 45: 6% probability" link

There's a big difference between ideal and acceptable. Ideal is a victoria secret model's body. Acceptable is the closest the man you're interested can get to pulling a victoria secret model. And there are men who are chubby chasers. There are people who have preferences for every trait. If you're trying to appeal to the widest subset of women, you pack as on much muscle as you can. If you're happy with the results you have now, then don't change. If you want something different or something better, then work harder and stop hamstering.

Yes, and unless you're at the top you're going to be ignored by most women. If you can go from 70% bodytype to 95%, you're going to see literally 10 times as many women.

Natural genetic attractiveness and social status/celebrity are infinitely more important in pulling women than frame control and confidence. Just because the tenets of TRP help you to maximize your smv, it doesn't mean your smv ceiling is all that high.

So you're saying there's a massive snowball effect? That's an interesting idea. Any ideas as to how one could go about proving or disproving it? EDIT: I think the best way would be to compare late bloomers to always attractive men. And compare formerly good looking tall guys (maybe ones who grew early then stopped growing early at like 5'6") to always not so good looking ones.

There's a difference between a hard no and playful faux rejection. If you're joking around with a girl and she says she's not going to sleep with you - she's going to sleep with you. If you ask a girl back to your place and she coldly says she's not interested in you and you're making her uncomfortable, that is a hard no and you should hunt elsewhere.

The most important way of classifying a movie as being RP or BP is not whether its characters are RP or BP, but whether RP actions works or whether BP actions work. If a movie has all BP characters, sappily pining after women and making grand romantic gestures, but they're constantly rejected, that's still a RP movie. It's still realistic.

TRP explains how women work, what women want, and how to best become what women want. It shouldn't be about what you should want. It's a means to an end. It doesn't define the end. If you enjoy something, don't stop enjoying it for internet alpha points. If you like just looking at scantily clad women, do that. If you want more, go for more. Personally, an attractive girl in yoga pants is aesthetically pleasing to me. Just as a beautiful sunset or tree is aesthetically pleasing to me. I don't ha…

This is not a double standard. Your height is genetic. Her weight is not. It's completely different. It's right to only date someone for their genetics. It's wrong to date someone for their life choices. duh.

I made a couple reasonable well thought out (probably more bluepill than redpill) comments and was told that I "could not make top-level comments". I messaged asking why I could not make top level comments. I was told that only feminists could make them. I asked which of my comments were not compatible with feminist ideology. I was then told that it's not what I'm saying but rather who I am. I asked what the definition of a feminist was any why I didn't fit. I was then banned. Can't make that sh…
