I'll try to keep it short and sweet before (>2.5years ago) Male, 18, 125lbs, 5'9, 1RM max lifts: bench 45kg, ohp 25kg, deadlift 60kg, squat, 50kg. I was weak as shit, shy, unconfident, terrible posture, looked bad, was a timid feminine creature who was dire with girls Now - after serious fucking lifestlye change 20y/o 5'11, 195lbs, lifts have pretty much tripled and those are for sets of 5. I'm extremely confident, extroverted, cocky, decent looking, happier, more respected by everyone, have an …

True - I appreciate the advice, sometimes it does take an outside perspective to see clearly.

There's arm isolation added 3 weeks in. Really? Can you link me this? First I've heard it, everyone touts SS as being AxBxAxx Then BxAxBxx and just add weight each week. In terms of Having your tris blasted by bench and ohp, that just doesnt happen, sure they get worked. But theyre secondary muscle groups in these movements, they arent the focus and wont be getting worked in a way thats close enough to their working set loads for significant hypertrophy/strength. Blasted by dips and skull crushe…

I do Push (Chest, Shoulders, Tris), Pull (Back, Bis, Forearms), Legs like this: PPLPPLx repeat. 6 days a week. Legs day is a rest for my upper body, I don do squats at all since I do DL's on Pull day the day before legs and my erectors/posterior chain are fucked (shoot me now, can still squat 160kg for reps). That routine works fantastically for me. Hit every bodypart twice per week with decent volume

http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/the_truth_about_bodybuilding_genetics Yeah, genetics definitely play a huge factor, but training style does too. I was always an 'ectomorph' feel like I've turned into an ednomorph now. Resistance training can influence gene expression and hormone production.

Its not (EDIT: not solely) to do with genetic factors, its to do with training style, frequeny, volume, rep ranes.

Programs like SS and StrongLifts are quite honestly bullshit if you want arm size and aesthetics. If you want that, you actually have to train arms directly with a decent amount of volume. And flat bench pressing for 5x5 will definitely not give you a great chest. 4x10 on chest with a mix of incline/flat/decline will give much better results. You have to remember you will do better with a good strength base though, so yeah, 5x5 up to a point to gain strength then switch to bodbuilding style. Tra…

Strength is not as correlated with size as you think

For me weightlifting was one of the best things that I've ever done. I started out skinny and weak as fuck - physically non threatening or dominating in any way. I had the body of a 15 year old boy. Body definitely is a massive factor in attraction, respect, and your status. You notice it all the time - the guys who are noticeably built and strong stand out, they have a much greater presence about them and naturally appear more dominant and alpha. Luckily I realised this all too well after being…

In my experience nightclubs are a fairly easy place to pick-up girls in, but if you are a 5/10 or lower in regards to overall appearance then you may as-well not bother. EDIT: To clarify, this also takes into account your demeanor, how you carry yourself, your walk etc. I used to go on nights out and get nothing too scared too approach girls then I adopted a very red-pill attitude towards life and self improved in every area (clothes, body, face, haircut, teeth whitened, a good aftershave, leath…
