Fair enough.

Like I said, if the objective is to just sleep with someone, then yes, it may be easier, although statistically that is not true. However, if the objective is to look for something serious, then not having these tests leads to misunderstandings and heartbreaks and it is lot worse. Infact, if a guy is not willing to go through them, then that actually saves the women from spending not just her time, but getting emotional with someone who they can never have a future with.

I don’t even get where the calculation of who has to offer more comes into the picture. For someone who is actually serious and wants a relationship, it’s not about who has what to offer. It’s about if you guys are compatible, if you have a future together. If you are simply talking about sleeping with someone, and if that’s all you are interested in, then perhaps it does matter who has what to offer, so you can rank them and figure out who to give a preference to, or who to invest time in.

It’s not about whoever has the most to offer. I don’t even see how this is coming into the picture. You can’t just trust someone you barely know. That’s not some new thing I am putting out there, it is obvious. A few initial tests are important. And for women who don’t need them, kudos to them, but it’s not wrong for someone to test people. Especially on tinder.

Exactly, and my point is that most guys are like that. And hence, it is impossible to just trust someone and be open from the beginning. A few initial tests as to whether he is actually serious and worthwhile are important.

First of all, I haven't dated a lot and do not use tinder. But I think you have an entirely wrong idea here. If women are acting tough or trying to text you, it's mostly because more often than not, they have been hurt before. While time and effort is a part of the calculations, a much bigger part is emotional investment. It's about trying not to get too emotionally invested, till they are sure, or can trust the guy at least a little bit. Most guys, expect that trust is obvious in a relationship…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
