I agree, people like cheap labor. Your theory about why a wage gap doesn’t make logistical sense I agree with. However, this isn’t proof that it DOES exist. Why do you all seem to operate off of your own drawn up conclusions instead of actual facts? Data? Hard numbers?

.... you do realize that you ignored my source because it disagreed with your opinion, right? Ok, I agree that men and women don’t necessarily pursue the same careers in a 50/50 split. But what about the women who choose to go into finance and engineering which you are saying doesn’t happen? THAT’s the whole point here. Also, just a side note, your source is labeled an opinion piece. I think that speaks for itself.

They don’t want to appear sexist to make up for the fact that they ARE. And where is “wage gap myth” coming from? Has it been debunked many times by your really creative videos? Women “choose that are paid less”!? You’re really going to stand by that statement? I’m here because for some reason this showed up on my feed and I had seen a preview for this movie but hadn’t seen it. Now I’m enjoying laughing at you and your fake news, so keep it coming.

You are dense. I’m not saying it’s illegal for them to enter certain fields, I’m saying they are automatically at a disadvantage because of their gender. There is also often times a wage disparity between men and women who have the exact same job in many businesses. It is harder for women to break into many STEM fields as well. Just an inherent gender bias.

Ignoring the fact that that’s not a reality in our society. That SHOULD be the case, but we are not there yet. Thanks to individuals like yourselves who think we have reached true gender equality and ignore reality.
