Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfHave you read the book Fascinating Womanhood? It goes over how to get your guy to take more initiative. That would be a more 'red pill' dynamic than what you currently are in. Red pill women teaches that when the man leads, he feels masculine, which is the best feeling to him. | /r/RedPillWomen | 11/06/20 02:22 AM
Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfYes!!! That is awesome! If he is high value and in love, he will do all the work! | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/06/20 12:45 PM
Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfThank you! I may be the luckiest girl ever because he brought up that conversation too. During cuddling he just asked me "So when do you want to get engaged?" | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/06/20 12:43 PM
Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfI did not experience this, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Firstly we are in strange and stressful times. Take a pulse of him, yourself, and the relationship. Is the relationship strong or is it weak? Is he extra stressed out and preoccupied? It is likely time to have a discussion about this. What happened and why the timeline was not met. If men do not feel any pressure, they can get complacent. If none of his friends are married, for example, he may feel fine with the status quo. | 3 | Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfI am glad it is inspiring you and that sounds like a good evening. I need to be reminded of it too. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/06/20 09:59 PM
Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfAh, I see what you mean. We both agree we want to get married as soon as possible. To us, that means spring or summer of next year because we want things to be better with the coronavirus situation (our area was hit hard). A lot of venues are booked out due to folks delaying their weddings, so we are deciding on our guest count and finding a venue first. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/06/20 09:43 PM
Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfThank you! I am ready to start ordering pregnancy and fertility books now, so I'll put that on my list. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/06/20 06:33 PM
Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfYes, this is helpful advice, to be explicit with 'consequences'. I guess to me, the road to getting engaged/married is the same road. I mean, we were on the same page before we moved in that we wanted to get married, and that engagement was the pitstop right before. (Since we are in our 30s, that helped put a natural sense of urgency, as we didn't want too wait too long as we plan to have kids and be married before doing so.) | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/06/20 06:15 PM
Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfEveryone is asking us that! We just got engaged a week ago and now need to plan a wedding during coronavirus, so no we do not! We are thinking spring or early summer of next year. | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/06/20 06:06 PM
Getting to the ring in less than a year and a halfYay! I'm so happy to hear that. If my post helps one person, then I'm glad. And thank you! :) | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/06/20 05:01 PM
Any resources specifically for women in the girlfriend stage?It's posted! https://www.reddit.com/r/RedPillWomen/comments/gzqgml/getting_to_the_ring_in_less_than_a_year_and_a_half/ | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/06/20 04:28 PM
Any resources specifically for women in the girlfriend stage?I read this but actually didn't find it helpful for very committed relationships. It definitely is good for vetting and dating but there comes a (pretty long!) stage where you're very committed, maybe even living together, and waiting for that ring. Iirc the book kinda glosses over this because I remember re-checking the book for advice and being let down. OP, I actually just went through this and got a ring after less than a year and a half of dating (a week ago!). I'll try to write a summary p… | /r/RedPillWomen | 09/06/20 02:31 AM
Feeling Not Good Enough?I'm going to talk about my relationship, not to humblebrag but to show you the contrast of what relationships could/SHOULD be like. My man is very attractive and I’m convinced he is the hot one, but he thinks I am. He has NEVER made me feel ‘less than’. If I am feeling insecure, he tells me I’m cute and beautiful. He has never pressured me to come to the gym or commented on my weight. In fact, he has never said anything about my body that has made me feel bad. He makes sure I know he wants me. | 1 | When you first meet up with a guy as a blind date or online match, what do you do to greet?I agree with hug or side hug. When I met my current bf I approached him with a handshake because I am awkward like that. He rejected it and gave me a side hug. He still teases me about the handshake sometimes. | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/02/20 02:54 PM
| – | Simple QuestionsI would tell him that you want him to lead but playfully. Like "it would be more fun if you planned our next date". And see if he steps up to the challenge. It's okay to plan dates sometimes but you want the guy to be putting in work and effort. Masculine men thrive being in the pursuer role. You don't want to start a pattern where the woman does all the work. | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/01/20 05:02 PM |

I love red pill, but...I'm new to red pill but one thing I've seen talked about is how to switch from more masculine work mode (and a LOT of jobs require more masculine traits) to feminine mode with your man. When I come home from work I just take a moment to touch up makeup and mentally switch into being more relaxed, receptive, pleasant and feminine. Obviously it isn't perfect but just making an intentional effort helps. As long as you are able to switch modes you're golden. | /r/RedPillWomen | 12/11/19 02:13 PM
