I hope I haven't come across like "omg who hurt you!!) reality is we all get hurt and we all eventually have to pick ourselves up and learn from it , move on from it. I believe that the "system " will eventually catch up to where we are as a society but it's slow .its also outrageous that someone can falsely accuse of rape and get away with it, that disturbs me . .....one a different note.....I am going to jump off your thread and wish you the very best!! Thank you for your time !

It's not so much romantic ( sounds co dependent to me kinda ) but he has been my closest friend and he makes me a better person. He has told me he feels that I make him a better person as well and I hope I do. Talking to you guys on here has made me question if I have been a burden financially and I will sadly and embarrassingly admit I believe I have. That being said I must give back something because if not then he would leave me right? I hope he would if he was unhappy. I think that you have …

I'm sorry , reading y'all post I noticed how intelligent you guys seem and was curious about you. I am intrigued and just wanted to understand you better, really have meant no harm nor have I meant to bother anyone. I thank y'all for responding and sharing your time.

Ok my first husband was my high school sweetheart and I absolutely thought he was great( probably needed counseling) I met him at 15 and he was a "bad boy" I was the preppy girl and he was a thrill.....I dropped out of school in the ninth grade because he had decided to drop out and he didn't trust me being at school all day without him which was my first mistake, my family didn't like him and constantly tried to break us up I didn't listen that was probably my second mistake, i'm not sure exact…

You are also right about it not being 50/50 but you are wrong about him being a tool for raising my first two. He has there love and respect. They look up to him and they are lucky to have him enrich their lives.

It's not easy being married and actually it's tough sometimes but you get this person who you have memories and share so much with its worth every rough bump in the road . It's hard work but I have gotten so much more in return and I'm not talking financially I'm talking about the emotional connection. I know him as well as I k ow me. We have had some great times more than anything I have him and I hope you have a open mind and heart and I hope someday someone completely surprises you ..... I'm …

You are right about me being clueless about how much he has and continues to sacrifice for me and I'm happy I stumbled into your thread..... we have had almost 16 years together and we have changed( not as young as we were) I try to keep him attracted to me , I want him and to be attracted to me and he has gained weight, going bald, has high blood pressure now but I love him more now than ever. He gained when I was pregnant with our daughter he held my hand on numerous occasions and I know that …

My husband makes the majority of our income and I'm guessing at least financially he would be financially better off if he would have never met me but I hope I have done my share and I hope it's never crossed his mind , I will have to ask him and this has made me realize that I should show him that I am grateful for all he does for us . I guess I have never thought of acknowledging that just assuming he knows. I have a lot to ponder about and thank you guys for responding it's been a eye opener …

Thank you for response and honesty if I was a male I would be convinced to do same as you..... anyone who falsely accuses another of anything or lies about who their child belongs to should be locked up.... that should not be the experience that anyone is subject too and maybe with men such as yourselves being apart of a lifestyle such as this more will become aware and start making changes ( especially in our courts)

Also want to add my ex paid child support and my husband has never been obligated to pay or raise my first two, I never pushed anything, they got a lot of good qualities from there step dad, he has guided them their whole lives pretty much.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
