Bro I have little worked with domiantrices. You're right with letting them know through abstract ways. But no one said fighting or anything physical. Dominance is 100% about being the more active and guiding partner. You take the brunt of responsibility, managing things, disciplining, leading. There are women who do that and prefer to do that. Most women in general are not looking for someone to "submit" to. They're looking for an equal with a lean toward either dominance or submission—whichever…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 03:56 PM

No. I've known women who never have any sort if "hoe phase". I've also known plenty who did. There's no one common thread between those groups. Everyone did or didn't do things for their own reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/22 06:04 AM

I understand and appreciate you sharing, I would just hope you could acknowledge the predatory nature of many religious groups. Religion does have value and helps people, but it's important to acknowledge the origin and function of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 11:17 PM

I agree that virgins shouldn't be mocked. But I don't think they deserve praise, either. Plus, it's not like choosing to have casual sex suddenly means you lack discipline or restraint. How else did I get fit? Graduate with honors? Read awfully dry texts that pain me? Find my dream partner? There's nothing more or less moral about deciding to have sex or deciding not to have sex, unless, like you said, your moral system says so. Here's the thing with purity: it also encompasses naivety, innocenc…
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 11:05 PM

People attach too much to it, imo. It's really not something that has to make or break anyone. Like there's an excess of value placed on it, imo.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:45 PM

I'm not robbing myself of anything. I don't want a family, but I highly doubt I'd have any issue having one if I wanted, given men have wanted to marry me and have kids in the past. I'm a loving relationship, and I work and pay taxes like everyone else. Acting as if having children is the only way to have pleasure or contribute is just plain incorrect.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:43 PM

because i like goth music? that's not related to fictional characters
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:41 PM

I don't think it's "disloyal" but I'd be a little concerned for her mental wellbeing if she's older than a teen and exhibiting these behaviors.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:31 PM

I agree it's true for everything. There's no objective morality. Having sex is not objectively moral or immoral. Even in most subjective systems, I'd say it isn't, as it doesn't inherently hurt anyone when people have willing sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:30 PM

it's so we can go back and talk about this nonsense with them. my partner refers to sub as the "worm farm" and we talk about how grateful we are to be who we are and to be together. that and to ignore my dull office job
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:23 PM

Anyone above a 5 is like auto hot but all above are hotter until it caps out at non existent 10s
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 10:19 PM

People who place moral value on sex as weird to me. It's just an act. There's nothing moral or immoral about it past what certain power structures deem. It has no real moral judgement behind the act. It's why people try so hard to attach morality to it so they can control it better

Idk I'm 5'2" and I've dated guys who are 5'4"-5'9". Height was never something I was picky about. People overall treat you differently when you're with taller guys, though. It's kinda shitty that something like height impacts social treatment so severely.

100%. I've had a small crash at about 25 mph and it was still loud. I've also had a drunk driver hit my mom's car at about 50ish mph and he slammed us into another lane of traffic. It was so loud and happened so fast I didn't even realize what was happening. It's funny that we all collectively agree to deal with the risks for the benefits.

That's a pretty good range. People overall seem to like that range on both sexes.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/22 09:09 PM

That's good that you guys have communication and understanding like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 06:37 PM

Decisions, decisions
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 06:37 PM

Likely because sex is typically something people associate with men valuing; same way women are often told to get checked when they have issues conceiving but men aren't always considered as the issue right away. I also think the person with the lower sex drive may not care as much because, well, they have a lower sex drive. I'm sure some don't see it as an issue unless it's causing relationship problems.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 06:03 PM

I'm 24 and a lot of men here try to claim that women in their 20s lust after men like that...they don't. That's like women in their 40s. Aka their same age range.

I agree with this. The older men who were into me were surprised and a little disappointed when I did not have daddy nor abandonment issues lol. Most of the women who get very roped in by them to have that type of "baggage" or dynamic preference.

I'm not poly but I have zero issue with people who are. They can do whatever they want. They're all consenting adults, they're not necessarily being "greedy" or "chaotic" or forcing anyone to be with them. Live n let live.

Plenty of women see men cry and don't lose respect for them and some will even like them more for it. I met one boyfriend while he was crying and invited him to have tea with me because I wanted to help, then we dated for a year. Men are allowed to cry. Just don't date shitty women who are bothered by you crying.

This sounds like immature behavior. I've had guy friends who caught feelings for me that I never developed romantic attachment too no matter their pursuits. Plus, part of of being in mature, committed relationship is understanding that a knee-jerk reaction to someone doesn't mean anything had to happen. And no, if flirting or going after women persistently or consistently 100% meant they'd love you at some point, some of in this sub would not be here

Interesting take. I think the key is just to have the guy thinking you're out of his league for some reason and he'll like you. That's my experience. I honestly think were we in similar leagues but guys get excited when women they like reciprocate. Unless you're punching waaaaaaaayyyyy up it's almost default for men wanna lock something good down.

I'm closer to pic 1, only I'm little more lean and petite. I 100% think I am more attractive than pic 2. I also 100% find pic 1 more attractive than pic 2. This is just based on my personal preferences. Pic 1 was definitely more average in the past and still is in many places, but in certain locations, like America, or in pockets where obesity is a problem, being "slim" or lean can launch you to a higher level of attractiveness by comparison to the major. I'm not sure. My dad has always been present and good parent. My parents have a happy marriage and have always supported me in my pursuits and happiness. I've never dated any shit guys or gals, and I do think it's because they raised me to be confident with good self-esteem. They both emphasized independence, having my own money, and working toward what I want. My dad is part of why I'm a big fan of adrenaline-inducing activities. I think my sweet spot is somewhere around 5'8. I've dated two 5'8" guys and that was really one of the most comfortable heights for me but they got to feel "masculine" next to me or whatever. While I don't care if a guy is tall or not, it does seem fairly common for guys to want to feel tall next to their partner.

Man I'm sorry but big dicks and muscular bodies do not do much for more, at least not any more than a medium dick or a slim body. Like size and fitness are factors, sure, but I don't think they matter as much as some people here think. And even then there's a size cap on both of those that will vary from person to person.

My impatience. I'm always about fast-tracking things and I do things a lot on my own because I hate abiding by other's schedules. I get irritated that I have to plan long term goals like 5 years out for things I want to do now, but I have to build/save/work toward it. I just wanna grindset my way to success but damn success can take time. I'm learning to accept some things take time. The tough part is now finding something to fill the wait/silence while I work, as I often forget to have fun.

no. he's ugly imo. his facial proportions are weird.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 06:42 PM

it's possible. i have also noticed as people get older, the topics surrounding death do get more sensitive, too, because there's more confronting morality: maybe their parents are getting up there in age or have passed, maybe they're experiencing their first health issues and scares, etc. I might just have the bias of youth, still because I remember most everyone from adolescence to early 20s being open to such discussions.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 08:44 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 08:23 AM

I'm a woman and I agree that communication is vital. No one should be expected to mind read. Talking about things doesn't inherently ruin an intimate interaction. It's practice and learning for the future, because if you get to know each other well enough, you can start to just "know" and have confidence moving forward with your interactions. It's much easier to have fun once you know what someone's about—and what you're about.

How old are you? Most people I've spoken with, regardless of sex and age, like discussing ideas about the afterlife (or lack of it). The only time I've noticed it's touchy is with religious people or those who don't want to "rock the boat" where they're at. (Work, for example.) Some people just can't stand to think about it because it terrifies them too much.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 08:19 AM

We're gonna agree to disagree on this. I think people deserve an opt out option, especially if it involves sparing another person from this world.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 08:17 AM

i mean if adults are consenting then they're consenting
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 03:35 AM

i can't believe this is the first time i'm seeing red scare mentioned here
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/22 03:32 AM

imo no one should be forced to care for a child they don't want. there should be an opt out-period for both sexes.

i feel this because i cannot stand the no eyebrow look personally lol. blond, paler people do not tend to have strong contrasting features and then their hair tends to be finer/thinner and they lose it easier, seemingly.

Man I felt similar when I had sex the first time. I thought it was going to be this life changing event and I got done and was in the bathroom looking at myself like...Hmm. I am basically the exact same person as before.

I've done this. I wanted to flake on the first date with my partner because I was sleep deprived but went anyway, and I'm incredibly glad I did. I usually love when friends cancel on me for plans a couple hours in advance because then I can stay home lmao

Is the fear related to anything or anyone you can manage? If you can't do anything about it, maybe finding something that makes you feel less afraid or calmer could help. Or something that reminds you of what you can do an are capable of. Hopefully things can calm down and you feel better soon.

I have not! I may have to show this to my partner since we're out of shows we both like. MLM has always fascinated me with the way some people will let it destroy their lives. It's cultish.

I could see how tinder got a bad rep if so many people had negative experiences with it. It's possible me being in a bubble of decent/positive interactions gave me a biased favor to it. I wish there was some kind of middle ground. Tinder was a bit off to get a relationship from because when I was looking, a lot of people are just on there to hook up or do whatever. Which is fine, but it'd be nice if there was a middle ground to "hookup/ons/dick-on-demand" and apps that pitch "substance-based, se…

As a guy, no idea. As a woman, I usually suggest coffee for first dates though and get there early then get my own drink before they arrive, that way they don't even have to worry about it. I buy myself coffee and tea all the time, anyway, so it's low stakes and the message gets across. If money is an issue for a guy, especially one who's under 25, a low stakes, inexpensive date like coffee is usually okay even if you want/have to pay. Like you're out like $20 at most if you both get fancy drink…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/22 10:13 PM
2

Waiting to see if she makes a move to pay or get her wallet is probably what I'd do. I have has guys try to keep me from paying because they are very insistent on it, but it's not the common reaction. Most have seemed pleasantly surprised, but some do take it personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/22 10:07 PM
1

I was always told to do it as a courtesy, way to establish that you can take care of yourself, and also so there's not a chance the guy thinks he can just "buy" you, like a safety precaution so a first date doesn't have a guy thinking he paid for your food so now he gets to touch you or something.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/22 10:00 PM

I expected to split dates ever since I was like 18. My mother did raise me to pay my own way on early dates, though. It's standard for me. In relationships my partner and I usually take turns paying for things.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/22 09:55 PM

I think women almost have to be the ones to suggest it? I always expect first dates split but I'm usually the one to mention it, so.

30s seems hit or miss depending on the culture. I think what's crazy about other OLD dating apps is they seem unusable to me. There's so many restrictions on how many people you can view in a sitting, expirations on messages, etc. It feel like the facets if tinder where no messages expire, you can just swipe no like 50 times in a row and still be seeing new people. I tried bumble and thought it was stupid because it'd only show me small groups of people and I'd like none of them. Tinder was way …

Accurate. Mushrooms, cocaine, and meth in some areas/states.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/22 09:01 PM
2

Interesting. I know more women who are concerned about drugs/won't touch them. Weed and alcohol are basically seen as harmless, and people may or may not be off put by pills depending on if they're prescription or not. Anything past that seems to have various groups of people who are hesitant to deal with those who use them. Crack and angeldust aren't things I was really around given I grew up in southwest suburbia. I can see people not being about those lol
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/22 08:47 PM
2

Hmm. I've never noticed that from men. If anything I see more women see it as a dealbreaker. That's just what I've noticed, though. Depends on the drugs too. Like what are we talking about? Weed? Drinking? Psychedelics? Prescription pills? People shooting up in a gas station bathroom?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/22 08:34 PM

How old are you? I'm curious because I have older coworkers (40s) who sheepishly mention trying OLD and it does seem like older groups perceive it less neutrally.

I think because not everyone's looking to fuck. Probably the majority. Some people on there, male and female, do distinctly mention that they're looking for a serious relationship. But it's not the majority.

snapchat was a sexting app? i straight up thought it was for drug dealing. granted it came out when i was like 12 so that may be why i didn't know lol.

What area do you live in? I'm in the southwest and it was just viewed as dating/hookups/whatever you wanted to do with it. The reactions I've gotten form men expressing that there's a sort of implication it's primarily hookups were from the midwest and east coast.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/09/22 07:37 PM

I did meet my partner there during 2020; I had to move back home during the pandemic and there were zero things to do, zero ways to meet anyone after being uprooted from where I'd been living. We're still together and happy, but I don't think it's the norm for most people on that app. Like I said, I do think it's results depend on how you use—and who you are. I personally am not looking for drawn out courtships (months of dating before sex) so maybe that's why it worked well for me. I did notice…

What makes someone quality is subjective, is why. Some people think religious, conservative, virgins are quality, others think it's agnostic, liberal, promiscuous people. Quality isn't objective when it comes to partners; people are looking for different things.

I've met and dated two guys from tinder. Honestly, I had no idea some people viewed it as a hookup-only app until like 2 years into using it. It was the only dating app I knew of at the time (2016). The guys would ask me if I wanted to lie to people about how we met and I was confused and asked why, and they implied there's some sort of stigma to OLD, specifically tinder? I almost wonder if it depends on your peers. All of my friends, male and female, were liberal and used tinder to meet people.…

For fun. Googled Spherology, seems like something up my alley! Every time I hear about his work is makes me excited so I do intend to get into him soon. Probably next year. I've known both male and female cheaters. It seems based more on if they're happy in their relationship or not snd if there are available parties. Sometimes they do it because they're mad at their partner (these were people I knew around 18/19, so the juvenile idea is just that). Typically these people were in shit/mutually abusive relationships.

Multiple times. Benefits: more free time, money, energy, and focus. Less concern over social things like people's feelings, needs, or desires. More time to dedicate to your personal goals and success. Consequences: increased boredom, less social entertainment, maybe some loneliness (but not a longing to go be around them again). Honestly the pros outweigh the cons almost every time unless the friends are really quality or valuable in other ways.

Yes. Which is wild to me. I'm high n and I don't like big dicks. Idk how to explain low women liking them other than maybe a difference in anatomy or it's something they tried and just really liked. Could be the influence of pop culture/big dicks being seen as "better".

I think the game changer for me was learning when to alternate the muscle groups I was using to move. I did "study", ha. I mimicked what I liked being done to me, paid attention to partners' reactions, asked them if they liked things, and I did ask guy friends about their techniques/tricks/tips. Ngl, also watched people in porn and considered if what they were doing and would work for me. Nothing helped as much as working out, though. My stamina for everything of either role went up across the board. Being the person doing the fucking is usually more physical effort, though. It can be a workout.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/09/22 08:46 PM

That's surprising. I feel like I mention it on this sub a fair amount. I've used strap-ons with women, too, but that's not technically pegging. My partner is a bi guy, so he likes that stuff too. It's part of why I was so excited when I met him, our compatibility is crazy high, like people in my life repeatedly told me I'd never find someone like him, but I did after years of looking. What fucks with me is when people tell me I'm better than the actual guys they've been fucked by because I feel …

I mean, butt toys for self pleasure exist. I doubt people are only using those with/for partners. Anal also doesn't have to be painful. A lot of that is going to be related to size of whatever's going in and the movement, etc. So it's not like it's this awful this for everyone who tries it. I've met multiple women who like it. They'd have no reason to lie to me about that; it's not like they're trying to seduce me or make me like them sexually, and they're usually embarrassed to admit liking it.…

Don't personally care to engage there. One of the things I like about this sub is that people just say whatever they feel like, short of some random mod-censorship here and there. I prefer a more diverse echochamber than TwoX, I guess. I know I've popped in there before and seen posts, but I don't really look at it. I don't avoid it or anything, I just don't see much of it. I'm here because I have snorefest of an office job. It's literally more entertaining and engaging to be here than to talk to my coworkers about their 40-year-old problems of family and health issues. There's no subreddit I've seen more active than here, and the topics are interesting at times. All my hobbies are in that lame limbo of "I do them to get better to hopefully make money" so they're not 100% leisure. This is somehow leisure/recreation--compared to work, at least.

This could be the case. I had this a bit in college because I did a lot of psychedelics and was basically a high-functioning stoner. I feel like corporate anything is semi-synonymous with a dull and slow death. But I feel like it's a stable way to try to accumulate money then feed it into something you care about that may even offer you escape if you play your cards right. I had a friend who had a cheek dermal and theirs seemed to heal fine, too. I'm just not sure how the neck would be for me since I have long hair and wear collared shirts/mock necks sometimes, and I prefer piercings I can hide for professional reasons. I just know when I see him in modeling for magazines or looking all nice in floral prints, it just hits for me. Status made me aware of his existence, but I'd probably think the same of his if he was like just a model or something. I think emotional entitlement does exist. Some people will expect you to care about them when there's no good reason to. Some people will dump all their issues on others and expect you to just handle it. That's what I would consider emotional entitlement, but anyone can do that; it's not limited to women. Other times it's just people trying to connect and get to know you and they try to do it by talking about themselves (ironically) and seeing if you relate or respond to it. That's fairly normal…

Most women I know who were/are single moms got pregnant with a partner then either broke up or had relationship issues, or sometimes the man didn't commit. I don't know anyone who got pregnant from casual sex, but I'm certain it happens. One situation was actually a statutory rape where my coworker (back when she was 15, way before I knew her) was "dating" a 30 year old and got pregnant. So for size across the board (penis, height, muscles) I think each woman had a range of what she finds ideal. I think part of partners being ideal and attractive to some is practicality. I've talked about how I don't like large endowed guys; height and body size are the same for a similar reason because larger men create some form of strain. I'm short for women though—the average is taller than I am, so it would make sense for women to have the "range" set higher than mine. Even some short women…

My preference for shorter/average height guys is about practicality but it's also because I just prefer them? Even when I was younger is was that way. Tall guys don't necessarily do anything different for me. Honestly I don't tend to clock much different from 5'8" - 6' because my brain just lumps them all into "taller than me". I don't think you can speak to whether or not it does something for women (or me) unless you've experienced it. I've noted no difference. Maybe some have. I do agree with…

I did say they're fewer. There's one lady in the sub who prefer bald guys I believe; I think it's Poppy? Personally I do prefer guys about 5'6"-5-9", but I do admit my partner is taller. I wasn't seeking that nor did I know until we met, and it wasn't really a bonus because it does make some physical interactions less practical or easy. /r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 08:16 PM

I could see that. I have specific tastes and traits I am not willing to compromise on, and they're not super common, so I did go to OLD as a method to find those faster. What works for one may not work for others! Everyone's gotta find what works for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 06:51 PM

This could happen, but I personally advocate for people going for who they want. It gives you a more active role in the choice and can help you get what you want faster, speed up the process. That's how I did it, but I am also very impatient, so.

It's hard but I could probably get at least one if I focused and monopolized her attention carefully, kept her entertained. The real question becomes is it worth the effort just to prove a point? Not really. Even as a woman dealing with queer women on dating apps, they're still mostly unresponsive and passive unless you're putting in effort. Irl is better for meeting women, imo. OLD is far superior to finding/meeting men, though.

Harder to get dates with women, maybe. I'd be playing for both teams. Probably a little less stressful to deal with women knowing you can just hop on grindr and get off if you really need/want that. Probably true. I do think there are some women who have broader or uncommon preferences, but I think they're fewer. Like I never cared about height, but I am short. I did/do care about things like hair. Meanwhile some women only want tall but are fine with bald guys. Varies.

Fascinating, and also congrats on having found someone! I do think good matches are rare on OLD, but I've found I have a higher chance of finding what I'm looking for on there than irl. I think the being able to discuss things digitally before going irl helps, too. There were some people I'd talk to for a handful of days before ruling them out so we never even had to exchange numbers or met. Meeting irl that wouldn't have been the case, necessarily.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/09/22 04:02 PM

I wouldn't say I'm turned on by this guy, but I know I can be turned on by photos. It's uncommon but it does happen. I do think women aren't as easily turned on my photos as guys; the person they're looking at has to be their "type".

I mean, I found two good relationships of dating apps and hook ups/fwb when I wanted them. It's beneficial to some if you use them a certain and are okay with vetting hard. I like both sexes, but am overall into more of an androgyny and neutral traits (nice cheekbones, smooth skin, dark or big eyes, cute nose, slim, full hair). I so find women more physically attractive but I don't always get along with straight women all that well (I get along great with other queer women), so I can't imagine wanting to date them. No worries. I didn't mean for my take to sound as doomer-y or anything. I'm a pretty "cut my losses" type person and don't want children, so it's hard for me to see value in partner who would expect me to do the majority of active work/efforts while they aren't exactly required to do much in return. It seems not good. But, if I did want children, I would see going after women and dating them being more important.

I'm not a lesbian. I'm "bi" as some people would consider it. My partner is male. I've also pursued women and seen a fair amount of my male friends struggle with dating. I'm just saying for me, if I was a man, dating women would not be worth it from my perspective. I get to enjoy fairly easy dating even when I do engage with women, because queer women are less ridge with their dating norms and standards because of the sex-same factor. Straight people seem to prefer adhering to more "traditional"…

They could've been. That doesn't necessarily make someone attracted, though, and having sex with someone you're not into, bearing their children, living with them, isn't always pleasant and tends to wear on people and cause dead bedrooms. I do think it's unlikely they'd be ideal given the past. Women were basically seen as inferior and treated as such. That doesn't exactly create healthy dynamics.

It's definitely not for the faint of heart or those who want to go slow, but it's worked very well for me and got me the partner I wanted. Everyone's gonna vet different. I know what works for me, but that doesn't mean it'll work for others. It's like trying to build a profile off of the consistencies you can detect. But people can lie and omit, or sometimes just forget things if it was a while ago. I feel like if you ask people things like "Do you remember the first time you felt x?" Or "Did you ever get into fights as a kid? I remember this one time, xyz." Ask about drugs, ask about home. Ask about what's important to you and wha…

Ask him about various things like when he was a kid, his family, distinguishing moments in his life. Does he have pets? What kind? See if you can pick up on a behavior pattern. It's not about poverty being unique to women, it that the dangers were slightly different with less options to do anything about it. I'm not disagreeing about women likely not performing as well at manual labor, but it means work options were very limited. That's my point. There were less options for them and the thing contemporary men are experiencing with women actually being more discriminatory about appearance is linked to them being able to even have that as an option without potentially sh…

Your thesis is that a woman's looks matter more biologically than a man's, but if that's the case, why would "chad" be willing to sleep with so many women? Why would men fear af/bb and paternity fraud if women are truly attracted to resources? We'd have to define reproductive success. Let's say it's having your genes survive long enough to get passed down to another generation. The key things we're looking at are "your genes" and "survive". The "social contract" is supposed to be that the woman …

I do believe women only like a small percentage of men, physically especially. Women here reiterate that often. Women could work tougher, lower class jobs, yes, but they were often paid less and expected to stop working if they became pregnant or has children to care for, unless they had to continue working to keep children from starving. Even now, minimum wage isn't enough to support one person--forget a child or children on top of that. That's part of why alimony and child support is a thing. …

It has less to due with women "dying from not getting married" and moreso not being able to support themselves adequately, if at all, and being in poverty snd unable to come out of it without male help because there were legal barriers that actively prevented them from being able to do so on their own. Can't own property, get an education, money in a bank, don't have many job options, extra vulnerable to men because they're not legally protected nor have a male member to physically protect them.…

Lmao. Not everyone is here to procreate. Plenty of people actively choose not to. People don't have to be slaves to instinct. Women who don't even want kids basically have no function for men if they have their own resources; they get to choose any partner based off of men they truly like the appearance and personality of. You seem upset that I just won't agree with you. That's fine, but biology is not the be all end all for everyone on the planet, believe it or not. We're more evolved than that…

You stated it's a burden from a biological perspective, but it's not. It's cultural because it can be changed and isn't innate to physical bodies or biochemistry. There's nothing in biology that says men have to hoard resources and that women have to be attractive, it just traditionally benefits them to do so. We're not entirely away from that, but we are witnessing a shift of women not caring what men want because they no longer have to depend on them for resources. However, men still hold the …

I get what you're saying, and frankly don't understand why you didn't just state it. Men wanting women to be attractive isn't a "biological burden". A biological burden would be something like a period, something biology causes that literally makes you suffer in some capacity. This sounds like when women complain about men preferring women with makeup to when they don't. People prioritizing looks does mean the threshold for looking good goes up, and that the standard may get harsher for some. A guy being taller isn't really a bonus of major factor to me. Most people are taller than me, and anything after 5'10" becomes physically inconvenient so there's gotta be a cap at 6'.

I feel like people here forget the base desire a lot of people have to "flex" or show off to others. Somethings have nothing to so with profit, seeking a mate, looking for validation--sometimes people just like to show off because it's a fun power trip. They don't necessarily care about other's opinion, they may just know they're doing way "better" than others conventionally or want to show off their hard work, like gym people. You can like to brag without caring what others think.

Depends on your size. I'm technically considered underweight bur I'm fit and healthy but all other standards. I think I'm like 100lb or something. But it was college weight from not eating good; gaining that in muscle and some maybe some fat would likely feel far better. If you feel good and able, you're p…

I wouldn't date him. We're banging within the first 2-3 dates or I'm out. I don't care if he had fwb or relationships or not, I gotta test drive before I can consider committing. If it's a bad bedroom investment I am out. Realistically I would never date someone for 3 whole months with no sex. Maybe like a month if we barely saw each other (like once or twice a week). But if I date someone, I'm trying to see them way more often than that.

Those specific tactics wouldn't have worked on me because I'm not into negging or "proving myself" or dread game shit. I prefer men want to kiss my feet or praise me excessively. Adults are allowed to do what they wants, ultimately. I dated older men for a brief time and the looks you get from women older than you are unreal. It's like a mix of pity, anger, concern, and overall upset. Honestly it kinda freaked me out. I think what bothered me the most about it was I knew they thought I was incapable of deciding what I felt like doing. Insane. I was fine—I'm still fine. People need to mind their business unless it's a minor involved or there is abuse happening.

No. Maybe if he came from old money because that's a whole class jump and different socioeconomic culture to get absorbed by, but if everything else is the same but he makes more. Nah. Dating up, to me, means a distinct jump up from where one started.

Because he now holds the majority of capital in his court. He controls the money, he controls the resources, and typically has a physical edge over the woman. It opens you up to being vulnerable and unable to leave if the situation gets bad, abusive, or if he is trying to control you. Having your own money means you can escape easier, faster, or not even let him get a full handle on you. Being able to depend on someone is nice, and plenty of partners do that to a degree. But being 100% dependent…

Love is always a risk like that. There's no point emphasizing the bad or focusing on it; acknowledging it exists is one thing. Fretting about it is another. I don't know about others else here, but I've always entered relationships knowing there's possibilities of things ending. The only thing I have control over is my desire to commit and stay in. I think people assume anything "vegan" or as an alt to animal products is somehow healthy. I love regular milk because of the protein in it, which is why I default to it over milk alternatives, but I've had people who are way less healthy than me try to tell me it's bad for me. I'm not lactose intolerant, either, so it could be some people projecting. It seems like every other person is lactose intolerant where I'm at.

Yes. Motherhood is basically a scam pitched at you from the point you're a little girl. Information about motherhood, birth complications, and child-rearing were pretty glossed over or secretive until the internet made such info more wildly available. Unless you are truly looking to dedicate your body, mind, and self to children from at least 18 years, motherhood is basically a raw deal. It's not really worth it, imo. Even the women I know who wanted large families as kids now want no children. …

They did. I honestly don't think people would've watched it without that, to some degree. I do think it's good to highlight the victims in things like this, though. There's documentaries like that). There's a morbid fascination with seria…

I think social media and women being able to prioritize looks over things like financial stability are big factors. I've pretty much always prioritized looks, like 45% looks, 40% personality, and etc. the rest (job, degree, etc.) Being able to have my own money and be comfortable allowed me to basically disregard a guy's money/job past "Can he cover his basic needs?" I think it's because there was a lot of social shrouding on men having body image issues. Like people won't default to thinking a guy is anorexic or has dysmorphia because of consuming too much gymbro imagery; they'll just think he's thin or assume he wants to be ripped because it's manly, not because he wants others to view him a certain way. The discussion around the more vulnerable aspects of male body image is pretty new, I think. It's definitely something worth discussing. My partner's on t…

This is m experience. When many guys find you attractive, they all compete harder and others seem more easily pulled in. It's odd to see. Personally I find the "women like preselected men" thing to be bull; I always lefted/swiped away or avoided men who were around women a lot, or had them in photos. I don't even wanna bother with competing with others because I have the option not to; why would I make more work for myself? Some people care about others' opinions, though.

As a woman who has been very thin her whole life, I personally love 90s and 2000s fashion because it caters to my body type; however, that doesn't mean women should see that as the only way to look good, nor should anyone be starving themselves to hit a trend. There was definitely an unhealthy obsession with looking thin. I actually came of age past that so I actually got made fun of being thinner, but it never bothered me much. Doubtful. Trends just shift. The next body "it girl" body type may not be the slim thicc look though. It could be bigger, it could be thinner. You never know. The jump from 90s heroin chic to the Kardashian curves only took about 20-25 years. We'll probably see another shift or two depending on pop culture and fashion. Toys are for everyone. They probably shouldn't be wearing religious symbols, then? It's literally a christian/theistic symbol. It's purpose is to signal a certain belief/set of values. It's like more often performative christianity than fully "I'm not religious but I wear a cross."

My life is honestly in one of the best states it's ever been. The entertainment/recreation factor here is real, but I do also like to be aware of the things some members of the public may believe. Gotta know what to look out for and what may be culturally happening. I keep asking myself why I'm still on here when I'm partnered and happy, and honestly I think it's the lack of socializing at my job. I'm surrounded by middle-aged people who I have nothing in common with, (sans one coworker) and thi…

Sometimes I have to stop myself when I wonder why people in this sub are so bitter, scared, angry, defeated, and project; a lot of people here do not seem mentally well. But they're certainly not the majority of people irl. Gotta remember this is an echochamber.

So he's white is what you're saying?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 06:39 PM

I've only lived in liberal-leaning areas and I have seen them. Like I had a Christian guy once approach me and he had on a cross necklace and everything. Which is wild because I don't think I look religious at all. Jesus bracelets are somewhat common here for a lot of the latin and black community. There's still people who have trump stickers on their cars, or bernie ones. Then if you're young there's people with denim jackets with patches, pin, etc. That's aesthetic or political or both.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 06:34 PM
5

And again we come to the "some, but not all". An increase of women getting their breasts done still doesn't make it most or all. Many are likely getting them done partially because of the increased lucrativity of being a hot lady online. People are generally more willing to do things if there's financial gain or even microcelebrity on the table.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 06:24 PM
11

You telling me you've never seen anyone were things that express their religious stance (cross necklaces, Jesus bracelets, religious headwear or clothes, ironically: tattoos), political stances (shirts, hate, some people have pins, bumper stickers). You can easily see how someone dresses, their fitness, grooming, how they carry themselves, etc. If none of those hit, nothing happens, but if they do and a conversation starts, things like media, hobbies, etc. can easily become topics and rule them …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 06:16 PM

I mean you can gauge talking in a lot of social settings and see how they dress. A fair amount of these are default things to mention on OLD, too, which was always my preference.

I mean he's lean and 6' with a good dick. He's not even remotely close to a neckbeard. I just find it strange how much people here want to project things that aren't accurate onto me. It happens a lot in this sub. I generally reduce it to bitterness.

Other women and men do want him. I've literally seen it. Even had a guy friend facetime a girl he'd been trying to court and she basically ignored him and asked who my partner was because she liked how he looked. The niche taste is chosen aesthetics or non-visible traits, no one can really confirm the former without actually talking to us. No one's looking at me and going "Yeah she's into pegging. Best avoid her." It's more that they try to shoot their shot, I ask if they'd ever let me put thing…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 05:36 PM

Of course. But a map isn't personal values or traits, a map is far more objective than deciding what masculinity is. That's not someone saying "this is the only real road to take", but "here are the roads you can take, their lengths, directions, etc." Then you pick the road best suited to your needs or possibly cut a new path, if you dare.

I'm not really into gym dudes but I do actively encourage my partner to workout more for his physical and mental health. I'm fairly fit and know how much exercise can change how one feels about themself and I want him to feel the best he can. I disagree. I met my partner on tinder, same with a guy I dated my junior year of college. Honestly they seemed more shocked than me because I always viewed tinder as a hookup or dating app—however you wanted to use it. You just have to use it a specific way.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 03:40 PM

OLD was it for me. I didn't really like irl that much. It was okay from time to time or on the rare occasion of meeting someone who I had decent interest in, but I had/have a distinct type and prefer not to deviate from it much unless it's for temporary novelty.

I mean we're both bi and he's been with men with much higher bodycounts than me. We're about even but I highly doubt he cares the way men here do. I don't really go for straight men and always preferred left-leaning ones. Men who care about n-count are basically not on my radar.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/22 08:15 AM
6

In my experience it doesn't matter. My partner knows my body count and doesn't care at all, and we live together and plan on being together long term. Other guys have also known and it's never mattered enough to keep them from wanting to date me. The men who matter to me apparently do not care. So it works out.

Her friends are dumb. Also she should worry less about if he has a degree and more about if he's a good partner and covers his needs or even hers, if that's what she values. Status that a degree brings is nice but unnecessary unless you're going into a field that seriously requires one. I've dated older before. Like 10+ age gaps. I genuinely think people are willing to trade some more freedom for more "security/safety" or comfort. People don't want life to be painful or hard, and I would argue that the increased appreciation for nihilism is due to decline in community interaction, decline in religion without a replacement for the bond it can bring (personally, I'm not religious at all) and lack of hope. I do think there's a bias in how many people may discuss their sex/lack of sex life. Honestly most men's opinions in this sub aren't even worth taking seriously given they're not even doing much dating or having success with relationships; when you want to be successful at something, you listen to the people who have actually done the thing, not people who haven't. Some guys in here are trying to make women share in the defeat they feel.

Also, I do agree that some men would seriously date younger, but plenty would not. A lot of men value being in the smart life stage and understanding from a partner. You're more likely to get that if you date closer in age. Seriously. Even if the men want to, most young women will not; they've got a fuckton of options; why would they seriously consider an older guy when they can get a guy maybe 2-3 years from their age just fine, who they have more in common with? I say that with much confidence…

Looking youthful, maybe, but I also think a lot of people don't realize how much women can vary in appearance, especially in 25-35. I'm about to turn 25 and people still mistake me for being 19/20. But them mistaking me for that doesn't mean I am that I age. Technically, I look 24/25; that's literally my age. If others interpret that as 19/20, it's because they have a somewhat inaccurate gauge on what 24/25 year olds look like. I think that's the case with women in the 30s. Many women people clo…

Being expected to pay for shit and make more money. It's 2022. Everyone should be able to pay their own way and I think that should be expected until you're in some sort of dynamics where you want to pay for each other—not out of obligation.

Because most men are not like men on this, despite what people here will claim, and because a lot of people don't actually recognize good looking women in the 30s as 30—because they look more like 25, 26, 27, you get it. Also, people overall find people in their 20s to be the most physically attractive group—that doesn't mean they're only dating someone for how they look. People who want serious relationships are considering things like personality, values, life goals, etc. Looks fade. People kn…

I'm pretty sure monogamy is something expected from both parties; most people aren't forcing it on anyone. Most men and women I know prefer monogamy for various reasons. Like I'm not "forcing" my partner to be monogamous. He's honestly more in favor of it than I am, because I've discussed that I'd be open to us having others as toys should we ever need them—if we're planning on being together "forever", you never know what could happen, and it's important to me that both partners' sexual needs b…

I'm not really tradcon. I am monogamous, though. I think cheating can exist if there's a mutual agreement between partner to not interact with anyone else romantically/sexually. But people are free to define cheating however they want in their relationship(s). I'm just curious as to your fixation on that stat.

100% agree. Both my partner and I are pretty niche and we get along beautifully because of it. I personally vetted against anyone who seemed "generic" because. Well. They're generic. Why would I pick generic when there's someone who's particularly tailored to my ideal? Ideal partners are hard as fuck to find but very worth holding out for if you're actively seeking them, imo. But they're not just gonna plop in your lap.

That's kind of wild. I don't think I've ever encountered someone that insecure. Dating apps are one of the lowest risk forms of connecting with people; who tf cares if a stranger you've never actually met ghosts or rejects you?

This one of the biggest things people here seem to ignore/forget. Options A and B can both be great people, but if A aligns more with your values and interests and B does not, that's just higher compatibility. B isn't suddenly less valuable as a person overall or failing to be "better". They're just less compatible.

Be heavy-handed about your more niche preferences and just left/unmatch anyone who doesn't fit them. Atmosphere of your pictures could be a factor. Or age range settings. Or location.

Hey, I did add a disclaimer say "to my knowledge". I'm pretty sure 2 of the major cancer causing ones are hpv 18 and 16 (which, according to google, are responsible for about 70% of cervical cancers) though, which the vaccine covers. Also, are you American? When I google it says there are no CDC/FDA approved tests for men but I do know that it's pap smears for women; I've never seen HPV be listed on panel STD tests though. Just wondering.

I considered mentioning the HPV thing because when I learned about it as an STI/STD, I had no idea it was what could cause cervical cancer in women. Some people can communicate well. Other's can't. Most of it has to due with how they're socialized by parents, school, peers, culture, etc. Anyone can be a great communicator is they mean what they say and are willing to bridge gaps with those who may not understand right away. Like when I was a teen I had a group chat with friends where we would swap X-rated fanfics we'd read or sometimes we'd role play as characters doing explicit shit. It was an all girls chat and it was small (like 4-5 of us). I don't think marriage is the best gauge for which relationships are "good enough". A lot of people get married because a partner gets pregnant, because they think it'll give them a better grasp on keeping the partner, cultural expectations, financial situations, etc. I feel like the majority of people get married simply because they think it's what they're supposed to do.

Also a child who's a sadist. I think. How close am I?

I have no idea what this Game of Thrones spinoff is about and I'm glad. Honestly I wonder if watching GoT is straight people stuff because I've never watched it, have no desire to watch it, and most of my friends are in a similar boat. Whenever I encounter people who are into it they're basically always straight. GoT is hetero culture.

Reciprocation. If someone won't do what I'm willing to do: goodbye. To notice: intellect, interests, my love for reading and learning, my consistent desire to discuss philosophy (which can get old real fast for some). Limiting my dating pool to queer-only shrunk it massively but also made it so much easier to find someone I liked. Prior to that, I also kept "trying out" people who weren't exactly my type because you never know, maybe I could like them, and also for the novelty, but I never ended up seriously liking them. They were fine people, just not for me. After that I basically made lists of traits I wanted and got serious about finding someone I really liked and managed it within about 2 months. We've b…

I think it's both. I didn't really date prior to college and didn't become sexually active until after high school. Even I noticed a difference between tinder circa 2016ish v. 2020. Like the quality of people seemed to have changed there seemed to be a lot of sex workers on there. (I had my setting for both men and women.) Which I get why they all kinda piled on apps, but the pools were really different from what I recalled. I also kept getting people who had just moved from the same place I had…

So, top niche thing is probably pegging. Also must be bi or at least queer in some capacity. Those are fairly limiting factors.

Pretty pleased with it. OLD allowed me to find my dream partner; I likely wouldn't have met him otherwise since he worked from home at the time we met. It opens up options outside of the immediate social circle, which are shrinking for both sexes, it seems. OLD has been way more favorable toward me than irl; you can't demand specific niche traits from most 5 irl options, but you can from the vast amount of people online. You have a better chance of finding a less common trait because there's mor…

By traditional definition, sure. I'm like 30-35. That includes men and women. I'd really only consider 4-5 of those relationships, though. My partner is around 30ish for his.

I mean, you wouldn't really clock the stealth ones, would you? I'm not saying it's universal. Just that it's a common enough experience that it's been the case multiple times and throughout various states I've lived in. I've stated it'd anecdote; that doesn't mean it holds no ground or validity.

I could agree with the idea that more liberal/non traditional types so take courtship less seriously; but that's not necessarily a detriment unless you're really into courtship yourself. Or, arguably, courtship simply looks different or moves at a different pace.

Because I basically reaffirms I have no stake in this? If I'm partnered and this is intended by both of us to be long term and we've discussed marriage and buying a house together, pretty much shows that n-count conversations are recreational from my side, as they no longer have any bearing on me; I'm not in the dating pool anymore.

You think more liberal or progressive men don't like romance? I've found that most do, honestly more so than women. Either way, no one should be complaining if they're being a hypocrite. I feel like those women are silly for going for non-compatible men. I've never understood people who complain about those who aren't actually options even if they're seriously limited, and even then, while a bit unreasonable, you can always move elsewhere if you care that much. Dating pools can vary greatly depending on where you live.

He is. We're both bi/queer, and I won't date straight men at this point in life. If for some reason we were to split I'd likely date a woman, tbh. That's the thing though. There's no real way of knowing unless someone had a reputation. I would say it easy mode as long as you're under 35, fairly good looking, and not profoundly dumb. The only women I've seen truly struggle tend to be "ugly" or dense, because it impacts their ability to vet well.

Because I don't care about others dating lives? We're adults. People are old enough to use their judgement and make their choices. If it doesn't work for them, that's their problem; it's not my responsibility to fix someone else's love life.

I won't do accept anything I couldn't pay for myself; it's dangerous to get used to things you can't provide for yourself. People are 100% allowed to abide by gender roles if that's what they like. Okay, if we're saying most as in men globally, sure, but my dating pool is not "most men". It's liberal men in blue states and city or city-like environment's. They're the only ones who matter; and many of them don't care. The men who do care are inherently irrelevant to me anyway; they wouldn't date me, I wouldn't date them; n-count is not the obstacle or detriment you want it to be if you're only looking for people who don't care about it—which there are more than enough of.

I'm heavily introverted and actively try to sevre friendships due to disliking the social maintenance. I have a feeling the 2 people I've known for 17 years already will always be there whether I want them there or not. I only think it's possible to lose sight of people if you and/or they get off social media. If there's still that window of observation, the avenue for interaction still exists as a possibility unless they never respond to you.

Holds some truth, but some people won't make a move due to shyness, uncertainty, or anxiety. If a woman really wants to know, she can just ask or make the first move herself. It's 2022. Risk of rejection is intimidating but it's worth the risk if it's someone you really want; isn't it better to know? If you want someone, go after them. If you aren't willing to, then imo you're a coward and didn't deserve them. If they mattered to her, she would. You can't say "fuck gender roles" then literally c…

I still see people I've known since I was like 7/8. That's like 17 years of friendship. Then there's people I have attempted to phase out, drop contact with, and told I didn't want to be friends anymore and they still try to contact me wanting to talk and catch up. Kissing is honestly fairly simple. Don't use too much tongue, try to match what they're doing, energy/movement wise. Try to relax. Don't slobber on them or lick them or anything. If you want to try something you're not sure of, just start slow and see if they pull back or anything. Everyone has different kissing preferences, too, so it's not a one size fits all.

This is my experience. Like it's never been an actual obstacle. This is the only "place" where men seem hellbent on saying it matters. In the most simple way, they lack depth. Their hobbies and interests are shallow or surface level, they don't tend to think about much, are easily swayed by whatever's trendy, don't have any traits that are considered "unique" or "niche". They're like a template that got filled with whatever the algorithm pitched them and never questioned anything, including who they are and why it matters. No. Most want to date men or women their age. Women who date older than a handful of years are less common and will usually be regarded as having "issues" or "daddy issues". Women start becoming open to slightly larger gaps around 25/30, but even then it's usually under 10 years, usually closer to like a 2-5 year difference.

I'm mixed, part Mexican. I got clocked as Colombian and Turkish when I visited Europe; likely because they have more Turkish people than Mexicans who end up there. Idk where people got Colombian. I don't think they default to "She must be Mexican" because Mexico is far as fuck from them lol. The most accurate German accent I ever had, according to my German friend, was when I was imitating Hitler from "Inglorious Basterds". Which is awful lol.

I used to be fluent until my relatives from Mexico stopped visiting. Any foreign person says my accent in their language (German, French) sounds "Spanish" or "Italian" rather than American; I have a feeling it's my brain trying to inflect the same way I did with Spanish. They're harder to find and it's not 100% certain they'll have hair, but if they have good hair and the men and women in their families have good hair (or they're part of an ethnic group that isn't as probe to baldness; all the Mexican men are my work wh…

Not into it. He's probably conventionally good looking to most women over 30/35. I would not be interested at all. I've tried bald and it's not my cup of tea. I can't even rate him "accurately" because my bias is so strong. Like he's probably a 7.5/10 to many. He's like a 5/10 to me. Bald knocks men down a lot for me. I also don't like beards or really masculine shaped bodies, so.

I really, really like seeing and hearing guys when they're getting fucked. It's different than when they're the ones doing the fucking. It really gets me going and I like being able to please them in that way and that they're willing to let me do something that's considered "taboo" for them and that they trust me that much. I'm also into women, and I've noticed men who are into pegging tend to be bi or bi-curious and are more open to considering extra partners of either sex. Straight men seem to…

I am genuinely surprised by the amount of men saying it's not dealbreaking. It's a dealbreaker for me if a guy isn't into pegging, it's something I've discussed early on in relationships and eventually raised it to "discuss on first date" because I was tired of men who didn't want things in their butts. I wasn't going to spend time on guys who aren't into it because it's important to me. If a guy's not gonna let me go in their butt, it 100% will not work out long term.

This is true, but you can be introverted and socially adept. I believe others have mentioned it as well. Socializing well is a skill, you have to practice it.

Generational differences, maybe. When I encounter men in that age range i genuinely feel bad for the women in the same age group because a lot of the men are distinctly more misogynistic, even if it's not malicious. That's when compared to most millennials or gen-z guys, of course. Younger gens are seemingly more progressive. I don't know if that'll shift or not but that is the trend.

Depend on the size and what it is. Active work is maybe 1-2 hours for building, 1-4 hours for painting depending on what I design and the size of everything. Things have to be fired twice before they're fully down and it's about 10-14 days of wait time because of the studio I got through, they just have long wait timelines. So about a month per batch, but that's mostly the waiting. I may keep batches in rotation once I get a good system going and rent out the entire kiln if I'm producing bulk of…

No makeup makeup is probably the most agreed upon "attractive" style of makeup. It's not aesthetically over the top so no one risks getting visually offended by it. It's basically just tweaking what's there. It's good to me able to do that kind of makeup as a woman and save the extremely dramatic stuff for events, concerts, photos, etc.

This is test batch two because the first batch had glazes that got over fired. I think these should turn our how I'm envisioning but we'll have to see later this month. I am if it's done well. Plucking some stray hairs here and there to shape it subtly tends to help men and women alike, it's not like you gotta get crazy crisp lines. I think subtly is best for most things because if you look like you're just "naturally attractive" it's almost universally well-received because mfs will think you got superior genes or something lol.

I'm introverted and relationships have never been an issue for me, but I am female and socially proficient when necessary. It just drains me. I prefer introverted men and women to date and be friends with. The caveat of introverts liking introverts is that they tend to not get out there and try to find each others. Ha. Extroverts are entertaining for like 1-2 hours tops then I need them to leave lol.

Not true. A guy could clean up his eyebrows, trim or maintain facial hair, play with hairstyles, necklines on shirts, pants and shoe color to look taller (black pants + black shoes usually work for this). Makeup is a distinctly feminine thing, but there's plenty of guys who do skincare routines and style their hair. Men traditionally have less options, yes, but you can still do things to create certain visual effects.

And yet, wide hips and red lips are allowed to be seen. Even whole boobs can be out as long as the nip is covered. It's weird. Just let the whole thing be out. Men are allowed to be shirtless, women should be legally allowed to be shirtless if they chose to be. Which was funny, because I had just gotten out of a relationship with a guy in his middle 30s, who, when compared to his peers, was 100% stunted. I had looked around his bedroom and thought it looked too young for my tastes, then it al…

Because attraction to someone's body isn't the same as attraction to them. Most people physically peak between like 20-35. That doesn't mean they peak intellectually, skill-wise, or otherwise as a person. People like to be around others who understand them and share the same goals. Often, age and generational values play a large role in that. Finding people in their 20s to be the most physically attractive doesn't mean they're necessarily the most attractive partner overall. As much as some peop…

This is kinda where I'm at. I'm pretty sure my partner is going to bite it before me because he's less health-conscious than I am, and a handful of years older. If he's gone and it seems like my time to go, I want to wander into the woods/desert to die while on a ton of hallucinogenics and become an urban legend that the teeny boppers talk about.

I avoid it if possible. I enjoy hanging out with my partner's 50 year old parents more than I enjoy hanging around 22 year olds. I wish I knew more people who were in my age range that I enjoyed being around, but it's not to be, apparently.

I think they have them there? We got them from an adult store. Would recommend women try them for fun sometime if it's your thing. They made me feel really warm and restless--but in a good way. I think there's different strengths; I've only tried one male one and I don't recall which it was, but it was silver or gray packaging, I believe. Came in a plastic capsule.

I love rating people based off of physical aesthetics alone. I just need people to clarify if they mean hot "objectively" or hot to me, specifically. I've always been analytical about appearance/aesthetics. I wanted to know why some things "worked" on some and not others, so looking at traits separate then together is very fun to me. I did take figure drawing classes, though, so I tend to analyze people's proportions and shape automatically out of habit. It's part of why I think I'm a 6/10 despi…

Here's something that might amuse you: once, my partner and I took those libido enhancement pills for fun. They make the ones for men way stronger than the ones for women, so I took the male one because I'd previously tried a female one, and it didn't do anything notable. About 45 mins later I felt like I could commit horny crimes because it was so intense. I don't often hit that point naturally--and I'm a fairly high libido woman. I remember telling my partner and a male friend about it, and th…

I mean, I'm partnered, so there is no running lol. But yeah, if there was one, you technically would be. I've dated older than a 5 years gap and found that closer to or under 5 years is better for life stage/general compatibility , so.

I'm about 25 and personally wouldn't want to date anyone older than 30, so 30. Idk about their lack of experience as long as it doesn't make them resentful or angry toward women.

Gandalf lmao I mentioned the dating thing because of the post's question explicitly mentioned dating. I never really minded virgins. Most people are teachable, and most virgins (from my experience and encounters, my friends experiences, etc.) are eager to learn/try things in regards to sex. I genuinely liked experiencing someone going through the initial nervousness, excitement, figuring out condoms, etc. Like it was all endearing and I felt like it was nice to give someone time and space to fig…

I sometimes masturbate to it and watch it with my partner. It's not an everyday thing but maybe every other day? It's never had any notable impact on our relationship and I never really considered porn to be "cheating" or anything as long as it's just free stuff you find online. If anything it's opened up new position ideas from time to time and let us become closer by getting to see what the other is interested in. I do admit that I consume a wider variety of things than my partner, though.

I don't know about others but I liked casual sex. I finish easily which is rare for most women, and I wasn't looking for a relationship, though almost all of my hookups/fwb wanted to date at some point. I did enjoy the novelty of different types of guys n gals. People who use casual sex to feel valued or get a relationship are doing it wrong, imo. Have sex because you want sex, not because you want something else and think sex will help you attain it.

Yeah, most people I know, male or female, do not care about n count or who anyone else is dating unless it somehow interferes with who they want. Sure, people have opinions and voice them, but no one really cares what anyone does as long as it doesn't impact them and their goals. People here are too hung up on what others might think.

Depends on what you want. Was worth it to me to spend some time sorting through OLD "piles of trash" but I would've tapped out alone if I hadn't found what I wanted. A good relationship is worth it, but those aren't guaranteed. Bad relationships are plentiful and certainly not worth any effort.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/22 11:06 PM
8

Is this a screeching harpy? Because it's just someone saying they don't care and think people who are hung up on n-count need to to analyze and work on themself before entering into a relationship; it's someone stating an opinion. No one's trying to cancel anyone or is "screeching". Also, even if someone does that, who cares? Move on. They're not for you and you're not for them. People are allowed to socialize or not socialize with whoever they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/22 11:03 PM
5

who are these people? most people i know just move on if someone's not what they want, or they don't even see the person as valid candidate of dating/sex. Girls will either accept or reject you, or they'll either be hurt or won't care, and men likely won't care either way.

It don't think it's inherently submissive but it often is, and often passive. Seemingly guys are the ones who put more emphasis on that idea than women, though a lot of that masculine idea does tend to worm itself into women's brain's. Personally, I don't see any role as inherently more submissive, and both can involve just laying there while the other does the work. And the "conquest" thing is pretty much an entirely masculine idea. Like a woman seeking out and initiating casual sex isn't a con…

Fetishizing anyone sexually specifically because of their race. Reduces the person from an individual to a caricature of fantasy of a stereotype, which they may or may not even match.

Probably some sort of "revenge" thing. Culturally, most people view being the passive role of "getting fucked" as degrading (which it's not? not inherently, anyway) so some women get this idea that pegging is degrading to men and find it powerful. Personally, I like pegging, but I don't find it degrading. It's basically the same as any other penetrative sex at a foundational level. Also, I don't know why she thinks pegging any guy is some form of revenge. She's gonna be putting in a lot of physi…

I prefer about 2-4 years older because I seem to match better with guys that age. Most guys my age weren't/aren't thinking about saving for a house downpayment or graduate school; they're still drinking a ton and staying out late. I don't consider porn cheating. Both my partner and I watch/use porn—often together, sometimes separate. We know it's nothing personal, and it's not like we desperately lust after the stars in the videos. It's more like arousal pre-game/warmup. It's a visual aid. Though I think we're a bit different in general. He's got toys and I have toys, sometimes we use them on each other and sometimes alone. I don't know if you really need to introspect if you don't find people hot. Hot people set off a primal, visual buzzer. Could be male or female for me. I'm just not into what many men seem to think is attractive, ergo attractive men are rare from where I'm sitting.

They become more attractive in regards to resources and professional success. Aging generally doesn't do anyone any favors. Most people look their best between 20-35. And if you're past that you probably look fairly "old" to younger crowds. And they'll likely look crazy young to you. Like, "Uh, don't you have curfew?"

Probably. Uncut dicks don't bother me but they do look "weird" simply because they're not what you see in porn or all the sexual depictions of men. 9/10 will seemingly be circumsized so that's default "normal". If uncut was just as or more common I doubt anyone would think much of it.

Lmfao. Yeah, a relationship is what you make. But understanding your goals likely require some level of a female presence and or a lot of money is kind or necessary. If women won't carry a kid for you unless you marry them, save up money for a surrogate and all the crazy childcare costs. I have zero stake or concern for what you do; it doesn't impact me. But you being concerned over a hypothetical spouse divorcing you when you don't even have said spouse is a bit paranoid.
