Girl I'm dating withholds sex or LMR?Good point but how do you convince her otherwise without becoming invested yourself? Edit: I'm already a bit invested if I took the time to make a post. How do you convince her otherwise without becoming too invested yourself? | /r/askTRP | 08/05/21 04:18 PM
Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenI'm sure you already did but just in case, read through some of the replies to the post. There is some really valuable content and I got my next steps out them so I expect that to get my motivation back on track in the long run. | /r/askTRP | 24/01/20 09:59 AM
Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenYou gotta be more authentic, say shit thats on ur mind and live in the present. You say ur serious, i say u live in your head afraid to express what you really think. That's on point but I don't think it's because I'm afraid considering that when I've had reasons to speak up I have always done it. Thinking about it now, I guess it's more about a lack of interest in the topics people are talking about but that's on me so good point. | /r/askTRP | 23/01/20 08:57 PM
Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenNah man, if anything, what you should take from my post is that 'getting on your purpose' doesn't mean shit if you're missing other essentials. I'm learning that the hard way | /r/askTRP | 23/01/20 08:49 PM
Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenGood answer u/Logical_Insurance Unfortunately I don't have people I can open up to in that way. I've moved around a lot so I have loads of superficial friendships but very few close friends that I have known for long. Some I distanced because they were dragging me down, some I don't believe would understand and others don't see me in that light so it wouldn't work. Not close to my father (Single mother cliche) and don't have that kind of relationship with my mother either. I've been told that ps… | /r/askTRP | 23/01/20 04:41 PM
Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenu/tonivevo Sure it is. I agree with you, I see the problem and I'm working on it (Hence the post). Trust me when I say that when everything else is in check low self esteem will bite from the things that aren't. Be it money, girls or whatever. | /r/askTRP | 23/01/20 04:12 PM
Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenIt's not really about desperation or pussy dude, it's about self improvement and patching up the areas where we see we're lacking. | /r/askTRP | 23/01/20 04:01 PM
Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenGreat answer u/yunhaila! I guess this comes natural to most people. Furthermore, I'm quite good at applying this to the workplace, probably because I see the results of it but I don't have the habit of doing this in social interactions - most likely because of the underlying (wrong) belief that it would be pointless. I guess I should try making a conscious effort to apply this socially too. | /r/askTRP | 23/01/20 03:59 PM
Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenThanks u/paul_ernst. Didn't know about Jordan Peterson I can definitely learn a few things from him | /r/askTRP | 23/01/20 03:00 PM
Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenThanks for the answer u/PartyDeath. That's some good advice. I completely agree that a sales job would do me good. Had some experience in sales when I was young and I remember that at some point I started getting a kind of 'high' simply talking to random people. This won't do as a solution for me now as I'm on a set career path that fits well with my side business and its one of those things that you can't get back to if you leave. I'll try find something similar though. Regarding lowering my st… | /r/askTRP | 23/01/20 02:57 PM

Mindset to stop basing self-worth on womenThanks for your time u/ThirtiesAndDivorced. I think you're spot-on with your conclusion as I've subtly noticed this a bit myself. I'm not really good at connecting with people unless I have a specific reason to do so.. Furthermore, I'm not good with rejection and I've never had a GF so I have no idea what it means to connect with someone at that level. This sometimes brings me to see myself as 'empty' or broken. So again, your point is spot-on. Is there something I can do to improve this conside… | /r/askTRP | 23/01/20 12:55 PM
How do you stand out from the rest of the crowd when trying to get a hot girl?I get your point u/vandaalen but how does that fit in with all the abundance that girls have. I'm still improving and have decent SMV but all I see is these girls ending up with the guys who clown around and chase after them. Sometimes it seems like they have so much abundance that If you don't chase they just move on and look elsewhere. | /r/askTRP | 12/01/20 05:36 PM
What do you think of Instagram?I agree with most of the comments here. I didn't like instagram at first as I viewed it just as a tool that people use just to show off but as I got into it I realised the main two things it can add to my life. 1) Social proof: We all know how easy it is to blend into a new group of people if you are introduced by someone who is already in that group. Well, thanks to IG in some cases you don't even need that someone anymore. When you meet new people (Including girls) if they see your IG profile … | /r/askTRP | 12/01/20 05:26 PM
When you improve yourself so much, do your standards get unrealistically high?I definitely have the same problem. My standards have risen to the point where my game is basically zero because I'm not interested or put way too little effort into most girls and the ones I am interested in are "out of my league". It's a problem when I have moments where I convince myself that It's not worth it because I start self sabotaging with things like binge eating and shit like that but like everyone I'm just here to look for answers regardless. Just never compromise your standards and… | /r/askTRP | 09/12/19 06:19 PM
