See the RP forums are great but their ideas of an alpha man are all directed to getting the hottest women and in the most numbers. I read another post on here explaining that their ideas for what an alpha man is are not interchangeable with the views here. There’s nothing beta about wanting to be a strong father with one person, but that forum is so skewed and echoey that getting correct information is more difficult. It’s like asking your classmates for the answer when the teachers standing rig…

doesn’t that seem incredibly inefficient and not effective. asking men to outline what are the things us men don’t know or process seems like asking a hungry wolf why he went hungry and not asking the deer how it got away. I’m sure that deer knows exactly what it’s weaknesses are and how a wolf could catch it. I will listen to your advice and ask men, but I think both could be very useful.

the people who wrote why they need feminism in the original picture. Wasn’t directing that at you.

If i was being chased by something and dove into a room of dudes yeah. I’m being downvoted, but all i’m saying is there’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that you get nervous around the opposite sex. thats just evolution. but quit whining and trying to change your biology. That’s like bitching that a bishop can’t move laterally in chess.

That’s not the point. Your gut doesn’t care about what they eat. You gut cares about if it can hurt me. Substitute lions for cows or deer.

That’s so dumb to think there’s something wrong with that nervous feeling she gets being in a room full of men. That’s normal. That’s her gut feeling and of course it is. We’re stronger and could hurt her, but we’re educated and don’t do it. It’s okay to have that gut feeling, just shut the fuck up about it. Thinking there’s something wrong with that feeling is just stupid. That’s life. Tough. If I go into a cage of trained lions, my gut will make me nervous. You should never expect the lions to…

So what’s the alternative? Just do the exact same thing as them? Shouldn’t we want to convince people to come to our side? I don’t mean to the nucleus of bullshit feminism but to the women with sense, the hardcore idiots won’t change of course I agree.

My point was they have issues that they believe in, and the people we are trying to convince are them. You have to talk to your audience, you can’t just angrily yell your beliefs at them even if they are true and completely factual. You have to work with them. Otherwise it pushes them further away and makes the problem worse.

I think it’s beneficial for society if we extend an olive branch and say same goes for a lot of men with women’s issues. I think it’s definitely like a pendulum that has swung the women’s way equally as hard as it ever had for men. It may swing back our way but not as hard and it’s my personal belief that when it does swing back our way we should be the bigger sex and promote true equality.

Like legitimately, so ironic she’s yelling and stomping her feet having a temper tantrum about how others don’t listen and how others lash out. Do mirrors exist in her timeline?

People like this need to take a single walk in the woods in their life for this mentality to be extinguished.

If you replace “man” with “woman” in that it’s cartoony how much sense it would be making in today’s society.

See he’s a canadian male student who leans so far left he may as well be lying down at this point. He’s very logical but empathy has thrown blinders on him. His argument is always sex and gender are two different things, so the conversation grinds to a halt whenever i try to bring up anything physical.

First, thank you for your time. I appreciate it. My friend that i’m arguing this to is a very left wing male canadian student, so paragraph 1, 2, and 4 would not help in turning the tides for him. The audience would not take to that sentiment even though i wholeheartedly agree with it. Gotta be baby steps here. If you have any factual information from credible sources to argue that gender and sex are or are not separate, and/or an argument about the truthful amount of genders then I would be ver…

First off, thank you. The argument he always says is “gender and sex are two different things and people just get the definitions wrong and mix up the two, they’re separate”. Which means the conversation always halts as soon as I try to link it to the physical. What would you say to that? He’s not religious, so would you argue that gender is a psychological state which is rooted in your physical brain like in the first paragraph? Also, to clarify do you then argue that there are two main sexes +…

First off, thank you for being so open minded. There are a few bitter men who frequent this sub but in general it’s all rational men (and women!) I think a good question to ask yourself when trying to determine who is being excluded in a society is who is laughed at? Who are the ones people aren’t thinking of. Who’s opinion isn’t taken seriously present day. A bunch of the ideas from feminists movements were great but was there ever an end goal? If there’s no finish line to a marathon then doesn…

It was purely because he didn’t want to be legally forced to use certain words. He was fine using the words, just thought it was not a good precedent to set for free speech if the law is dictating how you talk.

hmm.. tough call you’ve got a point. Imo we should try to stop the shrieking harpy shit, but I know that’s an impossible battle that needs to fizzle out on its own. I think my point was more along the lines of please don’t contact them and shit on them till they stop selling these men’s ones. because we know none of us actually care it would just be to prove a dumb point to women.

I think what’s more important is that this should be fine to sell without criticism and so should a perfect women chocolate. Do I feel like someone selling this negatively affects my mental image of myself? Fuck no. because i’m an adult. Don’t stoop to their level and play their games. Be adult men and history will look back proudly on you.

Rise in power of women caused it. Men don’t check women on their shit because we need them to like us to get laid.

I think a lot of guys didn’t even know other guys felt like this because we can’t talk about it in society or we’re shit on. This subreddit definitely needs to be made more popular, I had to actively search to find out about it.

In feminism is the common view point: A) That women will forever be disadvantaged and that we will need feminism because things will always and forever be unequal for women? -OR- B) There is an end to the road and women will be equal? because if it’s B, when will we know we’re there? Do you earnestly believe feminists will just call it a day when things are equal? I believe they have already reached the point of equality and are now surpassing it. Why? because they’re human beings. When humans h…
