If this is referring to American politics, there is no 'left' here. The culture war stuff is literally made up nonsense created by the Republicans to give the Democrats something to do since they are both bought by the same corporate donors.

What? The OP is a woman? My recommendation is for her to talk to more men to become more open minded by being exposed to more people and their experiences.

Probably a good candidate for exposure therapy I'd imagine. Talk to more men. Ideally in an emotional context. Focus on how your brain is processing the interactions with a specific focus on understanding the visceral reaction you have.

Alt right is fueled by male rage. Trump is the strong man who promises to hurt other people. The cruelty is the point.

The billionaire faction of the American Nazi party wants to crash the economy to essentially create a black Friday sale for themselves. They want to use the ensuring chaos to justify being granted sovereignty. Why do we want to invade Greenland all of a sudden? That's where Peter Thiel wants his country.

I didn't downvote you. But I took your, now edited, comment as corporate bootlicking. Your comment is not the only one in the thread at this point. Anti intellectualism is a hallmark of fascism so don't expect it to get better. I am 100% in favor of publicly funded education. It's an investment in the country's future.

Trump would grind you into a paste if it would make him a dollar.

Problems of men are problems of Capitalism. So long as men are needed for the meat grinders the system will do everything it can to keep us dumb and angry. The only war is the class war.

Men's rights movement is reactionary to the feminist movement? This is a feminist article... So it's like the other side of a coin. Tangentially related...

Is a dichotomy. When you have men's rights and women's rights you set up a zero sum system where women can only have rights at the expense of men's rights. Classic divide and conquer strategy from the Capitalist class.

Saying there isn't any incentive to participate in the system isn't exactly "shit on single moms" territory

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
