Refused to work? Is that where homemakers come from? The lazy people who refuse to work? So you just want a bang maid on a month to month basis. Cook, clean, fucking and to take care of children. Then when you have had enough of the free labor you just kick them out with a few hundred dollar severance pay. What a great person you are.

So what is your solution? One spouse works for 20 years and makes money. One spouse takes care of the family for 20 years and makes zero money. Money-making spouse wants out and takes everything (because they had a job). Homemaker spouse gets to move in with elderly parents? There has to be some sort of balance.

You are married for 20 years. During that time you devote 100% of your time to your family. You get divorced. You have no employment or education experience for 20 years. Your spouse takes everything. That's the logic behind this. Not to be abused this particular way but to assist those who need assistance. Not those who want 2m a month.
