I mean it’s part of it but don’t confuse “a sign of flirting” with the idea that every single time women have smiled and made eye contact they were interested in you, so the “hundreds of girls” thing made me laugh. I smile and make eye contact with everyone because I was raised that way. Women are socialized to be more polite from a young age, so there’s a societal aspect there too.
