‘Hurr durr feminism is bad’ this is the worst comparison I’ve ever seen, literal tiktokers vs wanting a safe environment at night. Who hurt you?

Agree. Big attempt to rile up men, this ain’t it dude - I’ve seen three other posts that show the faces of all those who died including the women. It’s only sadder when you use the deaths of others to justify your hate.

You say this is typical. Yet, I’ve heard many variations of these relationships that are functional and add to the others experience. Some older men had no dating experience due to their focus on career, then decided to marry younger women due to simple attraction (which is biological, not ‘porn culture’.) Some older men simply dated young, married young and had a relational fallout. Knowing their worth, they went for a younger woman again, due to attraction. The lens you’ve viewed every older-y…

Gender specific roles somewhat deviate based on culture & climate. The environment we live in today (being modern, convenient) puts less stress on traditional customs, being ‘might is right’, or ‘men are providers’; due to the shared equality between rights for men & women (which aren’t perfect). It isn’t a question of IF they should change, mainly just how (as they adapt; as we adapt). Gender studies is flawed. I don’t think a solution exists to many of the problems we face within relationships…

Society needs to change, and constantly evolves. Tradition only holds us back from progress. Social Science & Psychology 101. Free education, for your ignorant self.

The icing on the cake. The person who knows nothing of psychology and refuses to engage with information that counters his own views believes his opinion matters. You my friend, are nothing. You’re regurgitating panic buzzwords from the 60’s. Seriously. It’s people who refuse to encounter and process new information that are mostly at risk to themselves. Go outside, troll.

You’ve listed: 0 sources. I’ve listed 3 that contain and explain entirely what I’ve been explaining to you. I don’t feel the need to explain my income or job to internet strangers (especially those who sound unhinged) that’s for insecure people. If you’d have read anything, you’d know that this entire image rests on the argument of a campaign that targets domestic violence. You’re really dropping the ball, huh? This isn’t exactly a good use of your time. Me, this is just more practice for dealin…

Still your own, biased opinion. I’d rather trust professionals, because they’ve dedicated more of their time to conceive something you comparatively took a second to think of. This isn’t the red scare in the 1900’s. You sound old and deluded. Instead of arguing with me (and failing miserably) you should use your energy to become more aware of the world that surrounds you and how non-linear it is.

Yet, it allows me to live comfortably and argue with morons like you online who have no idea how the world works. Physics isn’t relative? I looked everything up for you, and provided evidence. If you choose to continue to be ignorant, that’s entirely your issue. I have a job? More importantly, I don’t demean those who don’t. We just came out of a pandemic, asshat. I’d choose what I do any day of the week than be consistently ignorant like yourself. Stay in your bubble, bitch.

Familial violence is literally the campaign this image arises from. LMAO. Boys will be boys is a common phrase, period. It’s used to excuse violence sometimes, hence the usage in said campaign. Lol. Do you want to embarrass yourself further?

Source 1 (1) Goes through why masculinity is toxic, the basics. Source 2 (1) Evidence explaining healthy examples of masculinity, case in point for my views. Source 3 (2) This link explains the typical statistical difference between men and women being aggressor-victim. You’ll notice the REAL statistic: (backed by years of studies) that coercive and controlling violence is mainly perpetuated by men, while responsive violence is skewed towards women. I’ve tried my best to educate you on the real …

This is untrue. Masculinity is toxic in some aspects, but it’s such a wide umbrella that not all masculinity is toxic, only aspects, I’ll link sources in my reply. False stat. That is laughable. You don’t need to make up statistics, please resort to evidence only. The inclusion of women in campaigns is definitely lacking, but the vast majority of cases involve the aggressor as men. (I’ll leave sources for this too). Your opinion. Heavily biased and untrue. Your argument is neither valid nor true…

I think the issue here is that you don’t understand fully: the impact and damage that young exposure to familial violence causes. The phrase ‘boys will be boys’ (image) is the only connection to your theory about this campaign being anything about your version of masculinity, and you perceive this as a threat to what you consider normal. This campaign is backed by numerous studies and evidence that points to violence (particularly domestic) causes a cycle that perpetuates this behaviour in later…

This is your view of masculinity, which is not inherently toxic. But masculinity as a whole when applied to a generation of young men, can become toxic (as explained previously). Your understanding of ‘creating a problem that doesn’t exist and attacking the problem to make masculinity look toxic’. This campaign was set on dismantling domestic violence, which is inherently a cycle (witnessed from a young age, becoming adopted at a later). Combatting violence among men somehow deemed as natural be…

You have one singular, valid point, and that is that feminism nowadays is down to interpretation due to it being such a large umbrella. Feminism does more good, than it does bad. Feel free to DM me on more info if you’re curious about organisation’s that are helpful rather than harmful towards what real feminism stands to be.

Correct in context? tell me more. The Suffragette-esque time period furthered feminism towards equal standing of men, which wasn’t apparent at the time. The real feminism that is done today fights for these rights in different countries, while also dismantling patriarchal laws still consistent with said time period. Anything that falls outside of this, isn’t feminism. You’re getting mad over a meme, with no connection to said feminism, other than being hearsay.

They are literally fake feminists. The ideology that sub promotes will never be ‘the pursuit of equal rights towards men’. So, they can fuck themselves.
/r/AntiFeminists09/06/21 05:30 PM

The textbook definition for feminism is the pursuit of equal rights for females, being equitable to male rights. Anything that does not support this view, isn’t feminism.

this is ignorant. Masculinity as a topic, a characterisation of a behaviour somehow inane in men - doesn’t exist. What does exist is a perceived idea of how men should behave, which is spread. There are outliers in every society, every man does not find the same interest in different things. Masculinity becomes toxic when it inundates perceived behaviour of men so much that deviating from it is seen as feminine. Go figure.

They’re the pronouns they use to describe themselves. Some people choose different pronouns.

Some boys don’t respond to roughhousing? This is the most fragile view ever. Masculinity in some aspects is toxic- as it funnels men to be ‘masculine’ in a way not every man to conform or relate to. Do you disagree?

A few times. High school, the pool and one time just sitting at a cafe. I don’t think it’s that common, so I count my blessings, lol

It has slowly devolved into such. A sub can only get so far shaming bad qualities of women, eventually it just breeds hate of them in general.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
