2	India Plans to Criminalize Marital Rape, So Some Men Are Boycotting Marriage Marriage strike is trending because of the amount of false allegations in India. It's not that men are sad that they cant rape their wives anymore. 43% of rape cases in Haryana (so called worst state for women) were false and the new marital rape law only gives more opportunity to women to falsely accuse men of rape. This means that rape isn’t just people being physically forced into a sexual act, it also includes pressure that makes someone feel like they had no choice but to have sex. Most rape victims know their attacker, sometimes it is even the person they’re in a relationship with. Anyone of any gender or sexual orientation can be a victim of rape and / or sexual assault.
