This is just making excuses. It’s the same thing and everything in between is mental gymnastics. And to be clear. I see no problem with any of it. It’s all clearly good natured kidding and I’m certain that neither party actually is suggesting these jokes be accepted as fact or doctrine. Loosen up fellah.

There really isn’t. They’re both statements meant to deride a group of people based on a stereotype. Not only that they’re both exhausted stereotypes and so clearly over the top that it’s obvious both are kidding for the sake of shock-comedy. They’re the same thing.

there's a massive difference between assisting someone who requests it and deliberately manipulating a depressed person into going through with it. This is likely the central issue at play in the assisted suicide debate. Doctors who manipulate people into going down that path. I have no intention of defending this bitch's actions... at all. But just playing devil's advocate... this sort of a ruling could have real implications in the whole right to die debate. Whether or not a doctor can help a person (old, terminally ill, that sort of thing) in ending their life.
