It's 2 different checks. I can basically guarantee they aren't going to run an employment check

Very very very very few places pay for employment checks. Background checks basically always though

you can't tell how a biological fact and some subjective observation you've made aren't the same thing?

Joey Q has said it himself, controversy sells comics these days. Angry fans buy more comics than apathetic ones. It's one thing to not buy these crap books, but to then start an endless campaign of complaining about them is only going to drive sales further. I don't think OP was saying you're not allowed to complain, just that it's counter productive(which it has definitely shown to be)

Wouldn't the most American way possible be letting the free market handle this and vote with our dollars? Just because another group does something unamerican wouldn't it make more sense to lead by example?

but a straight-up rewrite of the character. I understand you aren't much of a comicbook reader, but these kinds of story's happen all the time. Give it 6 months to a year and we'll forget all about this. You guys giving it so much negative attention is going to push a few extra months of sales,

You can really only do so much after 50 years of Thor comics. Make him a frog? Sure Make him a construction worker? Why not Make him dead several times? Totally Make him a woman? FUCK NO I think the woman Thor stuff is dumb as hell, but they do all sorts of stuff like this every year. negative attention sells a lot of comics

I love the idea in this thread that this is all one big appeasement for sjws. I highly doubt sjws are an even a fraction of american comic sales. and if they are, certainly not cape comics

What brand of trp toilet paper should I use to wipe my ass?

People in this thread have some really fascinating opinions on anal sex. and you're right - a woman's butthole is no more equipped for sex than a man's is

Yeah, to me, those things you listed don't equate to a war on men, but a war on the poor/powerless I think the powers that be are probably grateful that you people are so dedicated to this being a sexist thing, really helps take focus off of the whole class warfare issue
/r/MensRights31/10/14 11:03 AM

I agree, but I wouldn't say there's a war on Chinese people

I'm really confused as to why this isn't the top comment. She wanted to use the outlet, stop being an autistic weirdo. Why the shit would that make someone flustered

I've noticed on reddit, MRAs particularly, have this strange idea that woman on man rapes and false rape accusations are just happening left and right to everyone and their mother

I had a feeling that might be the case. I live in San francisco (asians galore) and I have a friend that continues to go after the more traditional ones. it seems to always end up in situations like this, where family pressure/obligations make things weird

I'm a guy, I'm in no way a feminist. that being said, I came to this sub out of curiosity, and I immediately realized how toxic this place is. the bad press does nothing if when you get here, its just as horrible/immature as described

Holy crap, thank you for everything you wrote. It's refreshing to see someone on here that doesn't just want to complain and fling shit. I totally agree about the whole power structure thing. there are a whole lot of people to blame for the problems brought up in this sub, and they sure as hell weren't all caused soley by women

This antagonistic behavior is only breeding more and more young radical feminists to be fair, I think antagonistic rad fems have birthed a large % of MRAs I think the solution to 3rd or 4th wave feminism would have been more easily reached if the name of this counter movement wasn't named men's right's, it just seems antagonistic by nature. if you want equality and an end to bullshit, you need to break down any (false) sense of exclusivity

I've noticed the age group here appears to be pretty young, which I guess is a reddit wide problem. I wouldn't expect much professionalism on a semi anonymous forum this big

even if your cousin didn't marry those women, sounds like it would have been 3 shitty relationships anyway he should probably work on meeting less shitty people
/r/MensRights23/08/14 09:45 AM

if that's really what we should see when looking at a woman, I'm really confused as to why we would ever want to even be in a relationship with someone in the first place. I understand you'll say something like "well just don't get married and everything is fine!", but if almost every woman is guaranteed to do this to, why would you even want anything to do with them at all? these numbers are either incredibly misleading, or something else isn't right here

Sorry, I didn't know I needed that to be extra clear, but i meant that that could explain why I don't know any

how did this woman not "get away with it"? what exactly did you do to make sure of that? It appears that all you did is unfriend her, and then make a post to whine about it on reddit, which in reality means she indeed got away with it

how prevalent is male rape? is it something that commonly happens to people in this community? I understand the amount of male rapes that go unreported is probably very high, but I don't know any men that have been raped, where as I know a lot of women that have. also as far as DV goes, I understand the double standard about the legality of a man and a woman fighting, and it is fucked up. But at the same time, I've been in fights with men, and I've also had women get abusive with me, and the amo…

because a woman might also overreact to it, it means we should too? is this about who can stoop to the other's level the hardest? I get that its blatantly stupid, its so god damn stupid that I don't even know why someone could muster up a serious reaction to it

I just think the image is so damn juvenile itself, that taking it so seriously has given it so much more power than it would have if you shrug it off

I'm new to this sub and am just trying to better understand the situation here I'm a male in my early 20s, I've never been involved or interested in either MRA or 3rd wave feminism, if that matters. anyhoo, It seems this and circumcision are the two main hot button issues here, how many of you guys have been the victim of domestic violence by your spouses? until reddit, I had no idea women abusing their spouses was such a big issue, so it was much to my surprise that it seems to be one of the mo…
