It sounds like you’re repressing emotions instead of knowing which ones serve you or do you a disservice. Masculinity and stoicism is about understanding your emotions and your intelligence and using them to your advantage. Check out the books The Way of the Superior Man and The Alabastor Girl for some insight on this. Also, practicing meditation and guided meditation will help train your mind to watch all that comes through it to recognize what is healthy and what is not.

Just put one foot forward each time you think about it. That’s what I started about 8 years ago now I’ve traveled the world, built some amazing connections, and I own a business with 50 employees. What always worked for me was one of two things: 1) Looks of flirty glances at her lips if the conversation is right: if we’re laughing, or she’s being cute/sexy or displaying value, or just good conversation.
