I dunno how others would feel about it, but I started r/NOMADSx the other day. The intention behind the sub is to promote and focus on the more positive aspects of MGTOW and reduce the tendency for vulgar and non-productive attitudes. Regardless of whether those attitudes are true or not, they make us all look bad and have become the political ammunition being used to push for MGTOW to be considered an extremist/hate/radical group.

True, but I don't think there's anything wrong with being exclusive about certain traits when it comes to dating, it was the casual superiority of short boys only being good for listening to her talk about problems with boys that are good enough for her that pissed me off.

It's probably meant to be a joke... but jokes of that nature always seem to have a funny habit of not being jokes in the end.

Jesus Christ, He raised a man to be a decent human being, you guys sound like fucking women: "I'm a victim of a culture that oppresses me because of my gender!"

Self-respect? My whole point is that I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I just saw someone like that and said "not my fucking problem" and walked away. My reputation and life? I would be the one who has to live with myself knowing I did nothing. If I help that person, in all likelihood my reputation improves when people hear I did the right thing. And maybe she got fucked up on tequila shots and passed out in an alley...or maybe she had one drink with a friend and someone spiked it. It does…

It's hard to understand how someone could walk past another human being in that condition, do absolutely nothing, and consider it the virtuous thing to have done.

Could you tell your mother and father that you didn't help someone in danger when you easily could have for the reasons you mentioned and not feel ashamed of yourself? If so, then fine, at least your willing to own your decision.
/r/MGTOW27/01/20 02:13 PM

If you could look your Father in the eyes and tell him you walked past someone in that condition and did nothing because it wasn't your problem, then fine. I couldn't. He would be so disappointed in the man he raised.

Imagine that was your sister or your daughter. Imagine that she didn't end up there by fault of her own, but had her drink spiked. How would you feel if something terrible happened to her soon after you left her there, only to here about it on the news the next day? If you can see that and go "honestly just don't care, not my problem", then I'm sorry that's just fucking sad and I'm disappointed in the virtues of my fellow men.

I'm kind of shocked at the comments on this post. I understand the point being made, but if GYOW means doing nothing to help someone in a potentially life threatening situation when you easily could, I'm out.

Yeah gotta disagree on this one. They can only use you if you let them use you, it doesn't matter if they don't want to fuck you if you genuinely don't want to fuck them either, and completely eliminating the potential of friendship with 50% of the population because they don't have a dick isn't going to be good for networking and your personal development. I built my business almost entirely my female friends' connections. I wouldn't be anywhere near as successful as I am now without those frie…

I'd say no to both, or at least, occasional masturbation and never porn. I don't see any problem with masturbation, even frequently, when you're actually horny. I think a lot of guys are using masturbation as outlet for boredom, not because they truly feel any need to get a release. Porn is so mentally exciting and easily available that it becomes such an easy cure for boredom that some men stop looking for other interesting things to pursue. If you're actually horny, you don't need porn for sti…

I find the feminist argument that language has sexism built into it so, fucking, funny. The notion that certain words used for women are derived from the male counterpart, making them secondary to or an extension of the masculine versions is so fallacious that it's no wonder the only academic papers you'll see the argument made in include zero citations from other peer reviewed articles. When people discuss this "issue" in English, I just say "Oh wicked, do you study Etymology or do you just thi…

No modern philosopher got as much right, about as many things, as Nietzsche did. I never noticed this line before though, which is another thing that makes Nietzsche the greatest; you can read his work over and over and each time you will find some nugget of wisdom and understanding you didn't the previous times.

Well first off, I wasn't the only male in the class who found it difficult to deal with her "teaching" style, she preferred her female students to male students in general and I can give you many examples of how she did this. Second, my story is "female teacher forces male students to conform to her learning style, gets mad when young men start acting like little boys because she's treating them like little boys, gives them failing grades on their work even though it exceeds expectations, and th…

Oh man, I think a lot of us had that bullshit thrown at us, but that sounds particularly unpleasant. It's kinda funny when you think about the idealist crap we hear about learning. "Everyone learns differently, at different paces, and encounters different issues, which is why it's so important that we mould the curriculum to the student and not the student to the curri - JOHNNY! Jokes aside though, yes, I see your point. My behavior was not conducive to other people's learning environment. But I didn't behave like that in Physics or Calculus...because I couldn't... I had to be switched on in those classes to do well. Basically where I'm going is, my poor behaviour was derived from boredom and lack of challenge. She could easily have just told me to leave and go work on something else, which is actually what my law teacher did and I respect the hell out of her to this da…

Not Father/Son story, but I went through that shit constantly in high school. I'm sure many guys here have as well. My English teacher senior year started failing me purely because I would fuck around in class. Never took notes, just sat their cracking jokes, yet always did well on assignments that had right or wrong answers. Everything that was essay or creative based, she failed me on. Eventually she pulled me aside one day and straight out told me that if I didn't start behaving like she want…

Nah... I skipped my prom cause I had a football game the next day. I got recruited to my University that day. And I just realized I was GMOW more at 18 than I was my entire 20s. But yeah, that's some grade A cringe...

I feel like you just described me lol. Never had a problem dating "bad ones" it was always the ones I thought were "good ones" and then went full psycho literally on a dime after months or years of dating. The lesson I eventually learned: I am completely incapable of judging a women's true character and my life is easier if I just don't try to.

I think the majority of men on this sub are quite aware of that, but discussion of women here will almost always be negative, in the same way FDS and similar subs are almost always negative towards men. The reason you won't hear much discussion about the good women, is because most of the guys here who would admit there are in fact good women still out there see that as irrelevant. This sub is largely comprised of guys who thought they had met a good woman at one point in their lives, only for t…

I get why some people would like this kind of thing, but it sends a chill down my spine... something about it just doesn't feel right to me. Y'all enjoy though, I'll just be out here in the forest being a samsquanch, let me know when the Machine Wars start.

Solutions: He should talk constantly through the show. He should ask questions constantly and then reply to the answer negatively - "that's dumb" "so pointless" "why do you like this". He should get you to call when he's watching, and then just have a conversation while the shows on. He should have his own commentary about what's happening the entire show, use stupid voices and sound effects. Eventually she'll just tell him to fuck off and watch his own thing.

I don't understand how they calculate this. Are they basically saying a stay at home mom is working every waking hour? By that logic, any required aspect of daily living that anyone does is "work". Cleaning, laundry, groceries, errands... Everyone has to do those things, that isn't work, it's life.

Is this fucking real? For fuck sake, here in Canada people are getting human rights violation accusations for things they say slapped on them left and right. I don't even care that people put shit like this up, it's the inconsistency in their own rules that gets to me. Imagine in the UK if someone posted billboards that said "All Muslims are Dangerous". People would lose their damn minds... Oh wait, when Lauren Southern and friends went to the UK with signs that said "Allah is a Gay God", they w…

I would try and approach the topic indirectly. Maybe you already have done this, but at 72 years old, I feel like you and your sister could ask your father what his financial situation is like in regards to his long term future. You could, with all sincerity, ask him how he intends to live as his ability to care for himself inevitably diminishes. Things like, does he intend to keep his home and have a care provider, does he want to live in a care facility, does he have the funds to afford person…

Rick from Rick and Morty, maybe? Tyler Durden from Fight Club has a lot of good quotes that fit MGTOW, the character himself is debatable.

Ive noticed that too. There is the level headed realist aspect and the angry aspect. It's funny because if you look at the female counterpart of MGTOW, it's the same, and the more extreme aspects of each side only serve as confirmation to their opposite that they are right, making them more zealous.

I'm not judging. I'm saying if you are serious about bettering yourself and you consider part of that to be dating mature people, I would think you would avoid defining yourself with drugs, tattoos and partying. If those are the things you want in life, I don't care and I don't condemn, but defining yourself like that and then in the next breath saying you don't want someone immature is simply hypocritical.
