Nobody in the comments read the actual article before they got butthurt. I don't think it's wrong to call people who enjoy being upset weirdos.

What you're saying doesn't make sense. We are a patriarchal society so how would we not look at things through a "gender lense"? The essence of the word patriarchy exists because there is a binary system of genders. Capitalism is the real issue behind homelessness but tackling it means we need to take into consideration the diversity of homeless people and how we can make our solutions adapt to each groups individual needs. Let's say someone decides to open up a bunch of homeless shelters but th…

The gender does matter. Women face different issues than men do on the streets and might require different solutions than men. Simply talking about women's issues doesn't undermine men's at all.

Literally nobody said that but nice try generalizing the opinions of a whole group of people.

Thank you!!! Specifically talking about women's homelessness doesn't mean men's homelessness isn't important. I'm sure the article just highlights issues that women specifically have to deal with. It's a puff piece is all and these weirdos are frothing at the mouth to be like "but why about the men?"

I'm curious why you're bringing feminism into this. This is a garbage woman who falsely accused someone of rape decades ago. There's no mention of her motives or personality type. Kinda sounds like you're reaching a little bit to fit your narrative.

Implying "the left" is a political party that only succeeds because they throw temper tantrums IS bringing politics into a story where it wasn't relevant, especially when we all know "the right" has thrown their share of hissy fits too. The author made it about politics first.

Wrong. Imagine she's not good looking and threatens to fail the kid if he doesn't engage her. She has the power and the kid has none. This is exploitation and pedophilia.

Lol right? Hearing something you don't like isn't bullying.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
