| -3 | Could we start calling male circumcision "male genital mutilation" exclusively? Or even refer to it as "infant genital mutilation?"IDK, but I'm cut, and I'm pretty happy with my dick. I learned what dick cheese was when I was in my twenties, from reading on the internet, and I am kind of glad to have never had it. So, I know that everyone here is not religious, and among those who are, not all of them are in the Abraham-derived faiths. So, many won't relate to my next statements. I understand that you won't relate, I am speaking from a different paradigm here. I notice some spiritual darkness to the nature and momentum of m… | /r/MensRights | 31/03/12 07:43 PM |

I can only imagine if this shirt were reversed. You've missed the point a few times now, I see that this is useless, have a nice day. | /r/MensRights | 23/06/11 12:38 AM
I can only imagine if this shirt were reversed.I challenged you to observe, not read a study. You really don't see it? I gave you clear examples as a starting point. You reply by saying I want to give up free speech. Where did I ever indicate this? I simply suggest that we should analyse the common themes in the content that is common to our culture. I never suggest that I regard men and women is the same, your assumptions proceed beyond my words. I say only what I say. I definitely don't think men and women are the same. | /r/MensRights | 22/06/11 02:15 AM
I can only imagine if this shirt were reversed.Home Improvement, Everybody loves Raymond, The Simpsons, the King of Queens, Family Guy... Those are pretty stock examples that most people recognize, some of them are off the air. The same motif can be seen in commercials, but those come and go. I don't really watch much TV because I live in a rural area. I usually end up seeing a bit here or there so I have a general idea. | /r/MensRights | 21/06/11 03:45 PM
I can only imagine if this shirt were reversed.Flip on the TV, watch commercials, shows, whatever. Men are the default ass. I am not really trying to get on your case here, because this pattern was not something I noticed. I think I initially (in life) absorbed the male demeaning thing nonchalantly, without any critical thinking, and then I started to notice, and it is everywhere. I understand that there also exists genuine misogyny, but, those who exhibit it demonstrate their tastelessness brazenly, we call them on it. Degrading men is the … | /r/MensRights | 21/06/11 02:48 AM
I am a male. Is there a way to safely lower my sex drive intentionally?I believe that estrogen is the problem here, a portion of a man's testosterone is converted into estrogen, and the estrogen is the key component in the sex drive. The chemical that converts the testosterone is called aromatase, and it is produced by adipose tissue. So, perhaps it is connected in such a manner that, if you have the nutrition to get fat, then, you have the nutrition to reproduce, so, your signal to be horny is increased. There are plenty of things that already mimic estrogen in th… | /r/MensRights | 21/02/11 09:35 PM
I am a male. Is there a way to safely lower my sex drive intentionally?I have looked into this before. What you need is a high dose of an aromatase inhibitor, specifically an irreversible type, (paraphrased from memory), There is one called ATD which is legal. Bodybuilders use aromatase inhibitors because aromatase turns a portion of your testosterone, or steroids, into estrogen. Aromatase inhibitors stop this from happening. If people taking steroids don't take an aromatase inhibitor, they are likely to get "bitch tits" like Bob in 'Fight Club'. This is called gyn… | /r/MensRights | 21/02/11 09:25 PM
42 years ago, at 19 and 17, my wife and I "fell in love" and got married. She tossed out her birth control pills without telling me and ***I wasn't permitted to have a vasectomy until I'd had two kids, by Texas state law***. So much for a man's right to *not* father a child. Can a heating element from heated electric socks be adapted into the crotch of some briefs to make a male contraceptive device? | 0 | Recent Attempts to Subvert and Diminish the Men's Rights SubredditThe biggest thing I see advocated on the mensrights subreddit is awareness. There are many subreddits that are divergent to other subreddit viwpoints. In contrast to the revered Bacon subreddit, there is probably a vegan and/or a vegetarian subreddit. Opposing political subreddits also exist. The whole of reddit no doubt contains a broad array of divergent viewpoints, the Subreddits though are focused on causes and serve to aggregate relevant information. | /r/MensRights | 29/09/08 07:02 PM
Recent Attempts to Subvert and Diminish the Men's Rights SubredditI was thinking more along the lines of encouraging solidarity. I am not opposed to debate, but a debate requires a proper forum. The MensRights forum is an aggregate for the information related to the cause, and not a place inherently suited for debate. | /r/MensRights | 27/09/08 06:40 PM

Ask men: how do you deal with the pervasive and rampant misandry in our society?I think it is important to just acknowledge it first of all. Women have been rendered a certain way to us, and it is hard to break that imprint on the mind without substantial evidence. Awareness is key, when you have the information, like the things covered on the MensRights subreddit, it breaks through the myths propagated. Beyond that, I think it is important to be yourself, to have non-negotiables, and to not flinch on those things. You don't have to be married to be happy. You don't have to… | /r/MensRights | 07/08/08 10:20 PM
Adenoids, Mastoids, Tonsils, Appendix, Prepuce: It was not until researchers identified the functions of these organs that they were spared indescriminate excision. [circumcision]I don't think of circumcision as being essential. I think it is important if a person is practicing a religion requiring it. I am sort of tired of the anti-circumcision movement for a few reasons. I think it is a good thing for parents to transfer their values to their children. I understand that some babies are circumcised apart from the will of the parents, and I think that this is wrong. But if some parents want to have their baby circumcised, I don't think anybody should get on their case ab… | /r/MensRights | 12/07/08 06:25 AM
