Ok, I went ahead and looked at your post you mentioned and a few of your comments and I think I understand why this community exists. I can appreciate statistics considering I have a degree in the subject, but there’s a subtle but key difference between summarizing a group by saying “the average woman does x y and z,” and “all women do x y and z.” I’m not saying just because that perfect woman for you exists out there that you need to go out and find her. If you’re happy being single then enjoy.…

I mean, that’s completely fine if you don’t want to date I’m sure that frees up your focus to spend on other things. Although I don’t know if I agree with your opinion that women aren’t motivated by sex just as men are. Almost everyone is motivated by sex, albeit some more than others. Those that go on tinder are the “more than others” group generally, so I understand you avoiding dating sites if you don’t want to attract promiscuity. And I’ve seen r/niceguys and r/nicegirls, I know what you mea…

Well I know this is an unpopular opinion here and I hope I don’t get banned for sharing it but my personal experience has shown that while I don’t see myself as a thot, I also don’t think I’m unique. A lot of women are kind and caring. Of course some are assholes. Similarly some men are assholes and many are good, generous people. I used to think I was different from other girls but that’s because I was putting them down in my mind, and I’m learning to reverse the conditioning and allow women in…

Ok I follow your logic but a few things: Unchecked male nature would also have problems, so I hope you acknowledge that as well. And when men mate they don’t stop participating in society. But I agree not every man and woman are meant to spread their genes, that’s human nature. Some people reproduce, some don’t. But I’m curious why you bring that up - do you guys here think you’re not worthy of spreading your genes? Do you consider yourselves betas? Sorry I don’t fully understand this sub, I tho…

Some more literalist denominations don’t allow female worship leaders because of the verse mentioned and some related ones about men being closer to god.

Lol no, sorry r/all sometimes dumps me into unfriendly territory. But luckily it seems to have gone alright, hopefully I didn’t step on any toes by participating here.

Oh no people still practice this. Church of Christ is one example, no female pastors because it’s “wrong” to let a woman lead worship without direction from a male.

Grew up Christian. This really fucked me up as a kid. Always wanted to be a man because women are basically just temptresses. I’m an adult now and I’m not trans or anything, just hated being an evil female. I’m mostly over it but I still catch myself judging other women unreasonably sometimes. And that’s despite the fact that my church was progressive and pro-gay and allowed female pastors.

This is hilarious because it ended well but also terrifies me that someone would actually kick someone else out of a train like that, because if she tripped and somehow got her foot or a piece of clothing stuck between the train and platform this could have ended poorly.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
