I went through something very similar when I was 16 and became ‘involved’ with a married man in his 30s. When the wife found out, she blamed me and stayed with him. I’m really glad the top comments are telling her to lawyer up, leave him and tell the authorities. I really hope she listens. I can’t begin to explain how much it has impacted me down the line, knowing that adults like her chose not to protect me.

I'm new and starting to realise my ex was a LVM. I told him about my trauma really early on in the relationship and I definitely think he used it against me, even in smaller insidious ways.
