| -14 | I dont care if women dont "feel" safe.Random assaults and attacks on the street unrelated to sexual assault (muggings etc.) occur only SLIGHTLY more commonly for men. And it is most always perpetrated by men. However, sexual violence occurs at a rate much higher for women. Having your shit stolen and a broken nose is far more recoverable than being raped. Not only that, women are far less equipped to defend themselves from those attacks. Theres a reason women feel unsafe in areas that you wouldn’t.
